- An extreme old world dining room makeover in our historic home! We are color drenching the entire room in the most gorgeous mid-tone green and brining in tons of thrifted home decor to decorate. My inspiration for this room transformation is being pulled from nautical New England style from 200+ years ago! I hope you love what we did with the space!

The second version brought in more of the colonial New England feel. The green brought out the beautiful woodwork, I wasn't sure about painting the ceiling but I loved it. It elevated the room. Great idea!

AMAZING!!! Of course I watched the entire video. I just can't get over how you set just the right music for each portion of the video. Now I'm at minute 22 and you're going over each placemat with just the right timing as you waltz over each one. You are so creative!!! And of course the room is wonderful. I have the same colour of green in my living room and dining rooms. Have an accent wall in each room that is a cream colour. Must say I love it! Do have to repaint it sometime soon, since we’ve had the colour for 10 years, needs a sprucing up! lol! I love how you thrift, or buy nothing new! I feel the same way! I think things were made to last, especially furniture, back then.
I love the colour scheme and the things you have gotten over the years to redecorate. It’s exactly what I do, as well. And if I no longer want it, I simply sell it on e bay, or give it to my charity shop ( similar to a goodwill shop in England).

After all that you found the right color green it looks awesome I also live in a Victorian inspired house with lots of medium to dark wood molding around the windows and doors and solid hardwood floors in the whole entire main floor etc. lots of wood the green looks awesome with it
