Porsche 911 GT3 Market Update: From Chaos to Stability
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 25 июн 2024
- After price decreased in basically the complete GT3 market, prices stabilized during 2023, making the GT3 one of the lowest depreciating cars in its segment. Will this continue in 2024?

The complete GT3 market outperformed the car market during last year. The 996 and 997 remained very close to their market top of mid-2022. The 991 and 992 lost only a few percentages after they decreased in the second half of 2022. Potentially the latter two developments are driven by the MSRP increases.

What car would you like to see analyzed next?
Porsche Cayman, especially the non-GT cars.
@@TrackMonkey327 Have a look at this video: ruclips.net/video/Xl8Sd4MZ5Fg/видео.htmlsi=NpFNePf0H2dwJvAv
I usually update the Cayman market every three to six months.
An updated video for the 997/991 GTS would be interesting! As someone watching that market I’m interested to see your take.
Cayman/boxster, in the UK market, or at least the EU market. You have been promising and non-US market for sometime, but where is it?
Can you please do your analysis of the Bentley Bentaya. There are a lot of specs to make it a worth while video.
I finally saw a 2022 GT3 that was going for under $200,000 last week. I'm starting to see other 992 GT3's drop to the low $200,000 price range.
Where was this at? I’m in the market
You dream still day time 🤣🤣
Another great video!
Thank you for this 🙌🏾
Thanks for the great analysis
Nice video! Always the right time to buy because you buy it for fun and driving a lot.
Useful and relevant
I a lways enjoy your market analyses. Be so good if you could one day do an article on Ferrari prices in the UK. 👍🏻
Appreciate your video updates
I have a 991.2 manual gt3
May move to a 991.2RS next summer
It appears that both cars are moving in similar price patterns
Is that a correct assumption?
GT3's so awesome both to drive and own
How about the rs model?? Please do a video segment on 992 gt3 rs
Yes!! European market Please!!
Follower since day 1. Great content as always!!

Great video!! How do you think is affecting the restyling version 992.2 GT3 that is coming ? Will be available to buy next year and deliver in 2026. So you have 1 year with no new production of GT3. But a new model could be depreciate current 992.1 ? What do you think?
Perfect timing to have watched this 😄😄. Would you think 991.1 RS would outperform the GT3 market ? Especially a PTS , being rarer ?
My dealer called me for a trade-in to a 992 gt3, but within hours, it was gone, then i got one a few weeks later.
The GT3 market is starting to move to a classic/modern model. The recent, VAG-made, mass produced 991/992 cars are holding up well, considering the large numbers of them, but they will naturally depreciate as newer, better models come to market. The ultra rare, hand made, Mezger engined, independent Porsche built 997 is heading into classic territory. This is market bottom and will be the best chance to buy before prices kick hard as interest rates ease. Rare as hen's teeth 997.2 is the pick. 997.1 is fragile, 996 is risky with divisive looks.
Excellent video. How do you see the 992.1 turbo s prices fairing considering talk of a new hybrid engine
This is the latest market update for the Turbo: ruclips.net/video/15nITzYJlVk/видео.htmlsi=IFiuGmuy6N9uOPLk
There was speculation that the 991.1 GT3 would drop as the 10-year engine warranty runs out in 2024-2026, but I’m not really seeing it.
I don't think we're far enough into that cycle to begin seeing the price drop. I think that as time goes on it is inevitable that the .1 loses more value than any other unless it has a documented G6 engine
I’ll never understand this market. It’s not limited production but it behaves like it is. I was short GT3 mid pandemic and I was so wrong. So so wrong.
How's the 911 Targa market performing?
Both are worthless 🙂
And m3 g80 Please!!
Can you break out the Targa 4s which has it's own price curve
Pls! This would be great!
Need a Huracan update!
Coming up at the end of February.
981 market picking up
Is it actually? 981 GTS is hella underrated. Great looking front facia, and one of the best engine sound set up in the Porsche lineup. It sounds like the second best sounding car outside of GT3s and GT4RS (excluding special cars like 918/CGT etc). Definitely better sounding than even 981 GT4 if not on par and miles better than the 718 GTS 4.0 by far.
@@ZDY66666 I wouldn't know how it compares to the 981 gt4.
981 gts is outstanding, but I found a 15k mark up over a 981S with every option ticked, which is what i went for.
The gts seems to maintain its price better, but it did get carried away in coivd more than the S, so has now adjusted.
The base is a fun little engine, prices are coming down for stripper models.
The prices most definitely have not stabilized! They are decreasing further.
That seems the most likely scenario indeed.
Hi, when are you going to make a vídeo for the EU market?
I will start with them at the end of March. The next GT3 update (3 months from now) will include the German market.
@@fourwheeltrader Thanks!
@@fourwheeltraderyou've been promising this for too long
@@fourwheeltraderlooking forward to see the German 992 gt3 market
Keep up the great work
@@Jay-xr3sb There were some setbacks in setting this up, but i have been running a successful pilot for six months now. Hence, I am fairly confident that you will see the first German data during the next GT3 market update. UK data will appear around the same period for the Evora and Emira markets. During the year, I will gradually increase the number of videos that have EU data. Yet, this channel is still a hobby project so other things need to be prioritized sometimes.
Why does Porsche even put prices on these things?
Shelby GT350R market
So to summarize 997 > All
Don't waste your money now; wait another 6 months and we'll see more realistic prices, as it was before pandemic
seems cheap compare to french Porsche market. Lucky u ;)
Will be at 160k€ in 12 month…
