My favorite Jump game ever is Jump ultimate Stars if Nintendo decide to make jump ultimate stars as an amiibo I would have loved kenshiro to have that for a collection

Ultimate stars actually feel like the game celebrate the shonen jump. you wanna beat someone with american football player, done. Wanna create a harem of your best waifu, boom here you go. Beating the daylight of Frieza using Yugi, who doesn't attack solely using Dark Magician like a stand but random shit from season 0, which include dice then you play the right game

It shows them all but does not do an accurate representation for people who didn't play the games, 1 setup only and barely the extent of the setup being shown.
The 3D games seem to have more freedom to them but it's definitely not the case for people who have played them all, Jump Ultimate Stars is still the best to date (not an opinion, fight me!), and even Battle Stadium D.O.N. was a lot more fun to play than any of the more recent games (don't get me wrong, I think Jump Force is even underrated but J-Stars, for example, was atrocious, a chore to play and move around and it's hard to see that here, clearly favors the 3D environments the way it is shown). The combinations were nearly unlimited in both JUS and JSS, a decent variety to D.O.N. but it's like the player even avoided playing in JSS. Limited himself to a basic-bitch combo on JUS...If you don't know how to play but want to show the game ask someone for the footage, ain't that hard!
As an example, me, quite the average player of those games, could make players go from full hp to 0 regardless of their character and combinations(as long as he didn't use one of the big 3 supports, people who know, know) with a 3 bar combo that I invented (still remember it because it felt like my personal creation in that game), never saw anyone else use it, ever, I'm sure you could find many that had their own interesting combinations instead of making it so boring to watch Goku run around avoiding confrontation. Of course it looks like it kept evolving if you show it like that but everyone of us know that it merely changed, for better or worse (clearly most agree that it was for worse but I didn't want to be the one saying it as I couldn't test Force as I did with the rest, just alone).
Same goes for D.O.N., I've had a full house of friends many times that we went mad with doing stuff that took most of the screen, many times, it's essentially Shonen's take on Smash Bros and even though that seems clear enough it simply wasn't explored enough by the player in this video to make it look even 1/10 of the fun it was (but guess it accurately portrays how a fighter really feels like to someone fighting just COMs on Easy). Yet the same conditions were applied to J-stars, full room... and it was obnoxiously boring, the characters felt slow and like they were on auto for most of the time (moving around took too long and there was even delay in inputs), yet on the video it seems a lot more fun to play than the 2D ones... It's dumb and doesn't represent the evolution of the games at all, it's show for the sake of showing, not for the sake of educating, which makes it bland, boring, and nearly pointless.
