I hate time jumps in shows and movies, but Arcane does it RIGHT. Rather than skipping character growth, we join their story at the climax of it. We can see how each character got to where they were due to the circumstances set up in Act 1, and each one makes sense.
The single most heartbreaking line in the show - Powder's little "Are you real?" Vi just assumes she means that, like her, Powder has dreamed of reuniting for so long that she can scarcely believe it... but we, as the audience, knows that Powder asks that because she *genuinely can't trust her own damaged psyche* in that situation.
Powder also has some form of psychosis and PTSD I'm pretty sure. So I always assumed she was dealing with flashbacks to Vi leaving and delusions of her being back.
I will NOT stand here and let you give Netflix any credit for this masterpiece of a show. It was written by Riot Games and animated by Fortiche. Netflix only distributed it.
There is no way show is produced by Netflix and all dialogs have more than two themes: how good to be LGBTQ+ person and how strong women are Show, don't tell. Make me cry about their problems. As Arcane does
A couple things: The reason Jinx sits on Silco’s lap or gets close to him is because he still views her as you would a small child, he doesn’t view her as a young adult. The writers wanted to make their relationship seem weird to deliver the tone of Silco’s ‘guardianship’. I think it was confirmed but I could be wrong, Jinx has Schizo-Affective Disorder, basically schizophrenic tendencies caused by a traumatic event. And a fun one, no-one in the fandom cares about Marcus either💀
Yeah that’s right. And also jinx haven’t age mentally at all, she act just like a little girl most of the time (knowing nothing about boundaries, talking like a child ecc) because of her trauma so the relationship with silco is not sexual or anything, but it might look like one cause it’s toxic in the worst way. Silco gets overprotective and jinx is a child.
The thing about Jinx sitting in Silco's lap actually got misinterpreted by some of the animators, that's why it had a weird sexual tone to it. But the writers were pretty clear it was supposed to be a father-and-daughter thing Also while I don't like Marcus, I actually like how his story portray how cowardice was always his "fatal flaw"
I changed how I look at Marcus when someone pointed out that in his daughter's drawing, you can see her mom (Marcus' wife) in the sky as an angel. They then asked "what if Marcus' wife was killed by an undercity criminal? Wouldn't that explain his motivations and actions going all the way back to episode one?" And that became my head cannon, because EVERYONE in this show has a complex and tragic back story that explains and motivates their world view and choices. Marcus doesn't treat Zaunites any differently than Vi treats enforcers, and in light of the suggestion of how his wife and daughter's mother died, his reasons are the same as Vi's. Except instead of having Caitlyn to bridge the gap between Piltover and Zaun like Vi does, or having Viktor like Jayce does, his bridge to the other side of the conflict (Silco) reinforces rather than disproves his biases.
So the bond between Jinx and Silco is weird. You were right to point out how Jinx sits in Silcos lap. It because she doesn't understand boundaries, because Shes still a child in her mind, and Silco sees her as a child still, despite her physically being a young adult. You can tell by her movements, the way she pouts etc. Powder never got a chance to grow up as a normal child, so now Shes a traumatized child stuck in a young adult's body
Is it weird to sit in your father's lap? I mean maybe it's a cultural thing but for me already in my late 20's I've always cuddled up to my father as does my sister. It's really viewed as normal in most of my culture.
OH MY GOD THANK YOU! Been attached to Jinx and Silco's relationship since the episodes first came out, and especially as a person who's experienced parental SA as a child it's always disgusted me that the only popular analysis I see of their dynamic is sexual. People are free to interpret it however they'd like but I just can't stand it myself. Silco feels so much for Jinx, seeing himself in her and only being able to form a connection with her as the only person he trusts, the same with Jinx. Of course they're going to have a strong intimate father/daughter relationship!
@Eyir same here, i litt hug my parents all the time. Wish i could still sit in their laps too sometimes XD but yeah culturally its perfectly normal where i'm from to be overly cuddly with family. Its family after all
Enemy was made specifically for Arcane. Every song in this show was, with the exception of Get Jinxed, but even that song was made by Riot Games so it's all in-house.
Riot's ability to get music and musicians is hands down the best of any gaming company out right now. Sometimes it seems like the music could be a single on an album which makes the songs all the more impressive
@@lenpgc It's a meme that was going around last year. People mix someone's name/surname (in this case Steinfeld) with the word pussy. To mean like "they put all their awesomeness/sexiness" into something. Idk why lmao Famous example: Andrew Garfield -> Garfussy

Yes, i mean most people just dont know it but I hate that Netflix gets some much credit for this masterpiece even tho they had very little to do with the actual show.
Yeah, as the audience we want nothing more than to see everybody get their happy ending but 6 episodes in, and we can barely even imagine a light at the end of the tunnel.
anime was like that many years ago but western animation has only started about now that it makes it for adults but i still think anime is better but both are good
@@godofnothing428 difference is arcane is based on games so that were a lot of the hype is coming from people who’ve loved the games and also it helps that the animation and story telling is god level.
I love how she was like "i'm not sure about Heimerdinger" and then as soon as they showed the new hextech inventions she's makes Heimerdinger's exact point before he does lol, that's basically his entire perspective even in the earlier episodes, apprehension about power ending up in the wrong hands.
arcane is legitimately one of the best animated shows ever - it's so RARE to see a full tragedy animated without all of the adult nonsense of shows geared towards ages like 25+ and have it done so WELL The dev diary for arcane really touched on how the showrunners at Riot wanted to, instead of doing the show first and then being like "okay let's find music to fit this", work the soundtrack alongside the development of the show; which is why the soundtrack and the animation works so well together! (also the way riot depicted jinx's ptsd from all her childhood trauma and how it intertwined with the morals that the adults who influenced her growing up taught her - 11/10)
I changed how I look at Marcus when someone pointed out that in his daughter's drawing, you can see her mom (Marcus' wife) in the sky as an angel. I adore everything about this video. Arcane is a beautiful experience from start to finish, providing such a unique range of characters for anyone and everyone to fall in love with.
I love how everyone is always surprised that Vi and Jinx meet in this episode. Everyone sees the flare go out and goes "Oh no now Jinx is going to think Vi abandoned her again" and then she pops up right behind her. The very rare time that this show has something happy happen between characters. Of course then it gets ripped away from you but yknow we take what we can get
You're getting it. There's no bad guy, and its intentional with the show. Its gray. You get perspectives and you get situations and its messy. But tbh, that's what makes it so damn great. You can identify with ANYONE, even Marcus doesn't have bad intentions.
nah, Silco is a terrible person, bad. Yeah, Background helps you understand what made him that way but does not excuse his actions, but he's still interesting to watch, tru
@@quintboredom I think you're allowed to think Silco is bad. But I don't think he's all that bad of a person. I think he's more of a circumstantial villain, imo. Considering how much no one cares for the people in Zaun.
@@Aceries_ he may have good intentions but that doesn't make him any less of a bad person. He's done evil things for his good intentions. Actions are what make a man.
@@GreySeashell-j3m I agree that actions are important. But imo, situations affecting those actions are kinda important. Killing someone is bad, yes. But if its self-defense, its different. Back to my main statement, its all about shades of gray.
@chalklanding Silco definitely does a lot of bad things and the he’s the closest the show has to a straight up villain but it’s somewhat disingenuous to ignore his redeeming qualities He’s motivated by a completely legitimate desire for Zaun’s independence from the city that has oppressed them for two hundred years, he’s a genuinely loving father that would sacrifice the goal he’s worked towards his entire life for his daughter and tries to help her with her trauma and when his subordinates tried to get him to abandon the greater goal in pursuit of profits he shut them down immediately Plus as much as people praise Vander he is also directly responsible for Silco’s escalation, not just for betraying and scarring him but also because he completely abandoned the cause they’d dedicated their lives to after hundreds of people had already died in pursuit of it
37:20 that scene of episode 6 always gives me chills. Jinx using the flare Vi gave her, the music playing, the camera panning around Jinx with Mylo and Clagger holding onto Jinx.
Fun fact I think Ashley would appreciate. All the music was written/produced for the show itself. Not very often for TV shows do we get a soundtrack made by the showrunners themsevles as originals. Riot has always done a great job of promoting music! Should check out their KPOP band KDA
So to be clear for why Vi ended up in prison after the end of the 3rd episode, basically after the previous chief of the enforcers was killed and everything happened, Marcus figured if he turned Vi in for the original theft at the beginning of the show then it would be good for him which is a part of what eventually led to his promotion. Essentially he kidnapped Vi and pinned the theft on her(even though yes she did it) and used it for his own gain.
19:29 netflix writers didn't write it. This series was shown exclusively on Netflix, but it was created from beginning to end by third-party writers and artists hired by riot games. Do not assign this series to Netflix. it's too good.
Fun fact!! The Tarot cards shown after the hospital scene are a premonition hinting at Viktor's future! Death symbolizes a fresh start or a rebirth, while the art on The Magician card resembles his future appearance (the third arm, cape and of course holding the hexcore). Very epic and def not sad :)
Heimerdinger is perhaps one of the most pure-hearted in the show. That makes what happens to him later extra sad. His people struggle to understand the nuances of other cultures, so I don't think he fully understands all the corruption and ulterior motives going on around him. The fact that he is terrified of magic despite being a species that is inherently magical tells you how badly damaged the world is by that past mage war. Think about what Jayce did. He was genuinely trying to help Undercity, so what did he build? He built gauntlets to make them more productive miners. All the better to serve the profit of Piltover, right? I have to wonder where Viktor's head was on that one. The flashback is so good. If you pay attention, Sky was there and already knew Viktor. A "firelight" is that world's version of fireflies. That group named itself after fireflies.
I def get the "pure-hearted" but I love this scene and his downfall here so much bc it is deserved in a lot of ways. He is so afraid of change and upsetting the peace that they have currently that he was completely blind to the suffering of people who really could have used his help for all of these years. He was the leader of an entire institution and yet clearly did absolutely nothing to interfere with the state of the undercity. There's definitely a very true point to the fact that humans, with their shorter lifespans, needing to progress a lot more quickly. I'm glad he gets that reality check and am excited to see where he goes with it!
To me he was just a scared old man, or yordle for that fact, he totally had his reasons but at the same time, Jayce said it himself i think, that we humans need progress now, not in a hundred years. Was he right? Kinda. Was he blind af to the suffering his utopia created? Very much.
13:10 So many reactors ask why Victor didn't get to go up on stage and act like Jayce is somehow a bad guy for that, totally ignoring the fact that Jayce asked him to go onstage and Victor specifically said he didn't want to.
Himerdinger is one of the purest characters, yes you may think his decisions are a bit different to others but hes been alive for years now and has seen many things throughout his life, he wants everyone to be safe and everyone to be protected
The really interesting thing about Himerdinger is because Yortles are so long lived (Basically immortal compared to humans) his eyes are always on the future. He processes things in decades as opposed to years. But because of that he loses sight of the present, how the CURRENT people are suffering because to him, that suffering has no effect in the long run. He's not melevolent, he's extremely kind hearted, it's just he treats the people around him like little blips, soon to be forgotten, and his arc is about learning to see people in the now.
@@jemanvilla9867 Mainly because Arcane takes some serious liberties with established League lore. Hextech existed for decades before Jayce and Viktor, they're just some of the smartest engineers currently. Zaun also came first, as a Shuriman trading center that got destroyed when the fucked up building the canal across the continent. Piltover was then built on top of the partial ruins. Very few people take exception to this because League has a long history of retcons and it turned into a damned good story.
@@ShinyGoldSteelix yes its why they said Arcane isnt cannon. its another multiverse world but its not the main one. some people dont know/understand this. i would also like to add to the people that say "when does the game come in?" it doesnt. as of right now the game has no place in runeterra (LoL's world).
But he's also severely negligent. The undercity became the way it is under his watch, he shows (at best) ignorant perception or (at worst) callous disregard for the short lifespans of humans. He also is too busy vibing to concerts to actually help run the city. While it's true the rest of council are too busy making shady deals to do right by the city, he's far too busy with his head in the sand to do right by the city. So as somebody that's been there since Piltover was founded, he's almost fully responsible for the undercity's current state, since it all happened under his watch. He's also guilty of corruption in his own way; he favored Jayce, so he conspired with him to cover up his magical research in spite of it directly violating laws that he almost certainly had a hand in writing. Then, the minute Jayce blew it, he immediately threw him under the bus. It's easy to overlook his bad side because he's a tiny adorable furball, but he's definitely not "pure". Try imagining him as a tall, spindly, grizzled old man with a much deeper voice to put it in perspective. We'd be so much less forgiving. *spoilers below* It's obvious from his behavior when he finally goes to check out the undercity himself he had no idea how bad it had gotten. That's a blatant indication of him being a negligent leader and/or grossly incompetent. It took getting kicked out of the council to even *consider* checking out the undercity, in spite of having been in Piltover for 200 years.
So true, Viktor is too good for his own good. Funny that I was so sure he would be a bad guy from the beginning (I hope they don't ruin his character in the 2nd season)
@@bellac6311 i know lol when I found out he was in the game I was scared ngl that they would turn his character upside down (it can still happen 🤡 I just hope it doesn't LOL)
i really like that when jayce asked viktor ''are you sure this is safe'' and he responses, slightly annoyed, ''of course not''. because jayce had changed his priorities, he isnt working on the hextech anymore like they used to, when they were just experimenting without knowing if its safe at all, to help people in the undercity rather than push topside further forward and away from the underside

One of the reasons this show didn't reach as many people as you'd expect it to is because Netflix did a horrible job advertising the show, unfortunately.
This is what you call GOOD writing!!! Characters that make you feel conflicted about their actions while you still understand why they do what they do. It makes it so there is no real bad guy, much like in reality. People have their own reasons and past experiences that influence their actions and the way they are. It perfectly reflects how complex people are and it leaves it up to the audience to see who they agree with more. There is not one underdeveloped character in this series. (With the exception of Marcus, he just sucks)
I mean i feel like even Marcus has his reasons. Like you look at the old captain of the enforcers and she was also making deals with the "bad guys". But when he tries it it just happens that Silco is evil and Vander wasnt so
@@anai.7889 I won't say too much about it, don't wanna spoil, but I think his only use is as a foil to characters like the old captain. He knows he's corrupt so he wants to fix it but he always ends up making the wrong decisions, like making deals with Silco, who in comparison to Vander, has only corrupted the Undercity and further the corruption on the Topside. I still think this a really smart way to use a generally "flat" character. He's always trying to be like the old captain but continues to fail to do so.
Marcus seems underdeveloped because he's a morally weak character trying to fill the shoes of a much greater mentor in Grayson. I think we're meant to get the impression that he thought he was better than those in the Lanes when he was simply born lucky. He's dwarfed by the much stronger people around him because he's an average joe out of his depth, but doesn't have the wisdom to admit or accept it. Less skilled writers would beat you over the head with this, but his seeming lack of characterization (at first glance) actually reinforces that he possesses very little character (moral fiber) to begin with. He could literally be anyone who's totally unremarkable in every way.
17:00 "prison has changed us" no actually she is about the only character who barely changed, which is accurate for people who are in prison seperated from everything else.
You get the concept. No Bad Guys. Even in game, all the characters are called Champions, not heroes, because all chracters have different side of the story on why they did such things. Not one sided
All of the songs featured in Arcane were specifically made for the show. Riot has made music with other artists like Madison Beer, Keke Palmer, Becky G and Kim Petras in other projects
something to notice is, the only two people in the show with incredible aim is Jinx and Caitlin, the two people competing for Vi's affection, so they are actually competing at everything, first, all we know is that powder at a young age is a good shot and has Vi's love, then Caitlin is revealed to be an incredible shot and also has Vi's affection now

People often miss a lot of the stuff with Marcus. Yeah he wasn't great, but he immediately did his best to fill the role his late teacher used to, trying to keep peace. But since Silco ran things less honest than Vander, that quickly turned to bribes and cover ups. You see twice he cares less about the money than people getting hurt, he knows he made a mistake jumping into bed with Silco, but every time he thinks about leaving, Silco uses something to stop him. And then Silco plays his ultimate trump card, but that's spoilers, so Ill edit this comment later.
Marcus is basically a stand-in for the general Piltover disgust toward the Undercity denizens. They all think it (even Jayce, and likely even Grayson... after all, her deal with Vander was basically the same one the Whisperers made with Hilltop... know your place and we won't come in here and put heads on pikes.) Marcus just explicitly states aloud the common attitude Topsiders have of the Undercity, which he has likely been taught his whole life.
I don't like Marcus, but I appreciate that he shows the dangers of trying to tow the middle. If you don't pick a side, eventually someone picks one for you

I don't understand how most reactors don't notice that there was a time skip as soon as they see Jayce. It makes me feel weird for audibly screaming "DADDY!" when I saw him ToT
Marcus put her in jail as a means of protecting her from silco. silco believes she's dead because Marcus told him that he'd "taken care of her". I'm kinda grateful to him to be honest if he hadn't stopped vi from going out there both her and powder would be dead because silco and powder wouldn't have connected like they did that day and in turn he would have killed both of them.

First and foremost, We love your reactions to all things. Your levity lightens up the pain of reliving such a great series. Marcus, was the deputy under the former sheriff and if I'm correct named his daughter after her. He not only locked up Vi for the blame of the explosions in episode 1, but then got rid of her files once he moved up to Sheriff. He didn't want her to die so told Silco she was dead but knew Vi knew his involvement with Silco and the death of Greyson. You got a great gaydar and hit the attraction earliest of all reactors. Megamind genius level. *gives all the praise* As for Heimerdinger, you're right he's not the enemy but definitely neglected the undercity people. Definitely not a bad guy but not really as much an ally as he could be for the betterment of his city. Viktor and Sky have known each other since his youth, both growing up from poverty stricken Zaun - to - become engineers in Piltover. As for the Last 3 episodes, You might understand why people not only understand Silco but also see Silco being more honorable than our "heroes." Get the tissues ready and chocolates for the final act, it packs the biggest emotional punch of the season.
I love how they portray mental health issues (schizophrenia) in jinx... it's very well written and not just a ha haha look she's crazy and that's about it, there's a realness in it.

Vi just assumes she means that, like her, Powder has dreamed of reuniting for so long that she can scarcely believe it... but we, as the audience, knows that Powder asks that because she *genuinely can't trust her own damaged psyche* in that situation.
There are just so many heartbreaking lines and moments in the show that it's really hard to pin down which had the most impact.
Then everyone disappears as quickly as they appeared, further adding to her damaged mental state

A couple things:
The reason Jinx sits on Silco’s lap or gets close to him is because he still views her as you would a small child, he doesn’t view her as a young adult.
Lmao i dont like marcus either but damn do i like his accent 😳
The thing about Jinx sitting in Silco's lap actually got misinterpreted by some of the animators, that's why it had a weird sexual tone to it. But the writers were pretty clear it was supposed to be a father-and-daughter thing
Also while I don't like Marcus, I actually like how his story portray how cowardice was always his "fatal flaw"
I changed how I look at Marcus when someone pointed out that in his daughter's drawing, you can see her mom (Marcus' wife) in the sky as an angel. They then asked "what if Marcus' wife was killed by an undercity criminal? Wouldn't that explain his motivations and actions going all the way back to episode one?"
And that became my head cannon, because EVERYONE in this show has a complex and tragic back story that explains and motivates their world view and choices.
@@Lissa2355 even if it was misinterpreted, there's no way it was a mistake. Or else they wouldn't have given the green light.
I never dissected that..
Its family after all

arcane is legitimately one of the best animated shows ever - it's so RARE to see a full tragedy animated without all of the adult nonsense of shows geared towards ages like 25+ and have it done so WELL
The dev diary for arcane really touched on how the showrunners at Riot wanted to, instead of doing the show first and then being like "okay let's find music to fit this", work the soundtrack alongside the development of the show; which is why the soundtrack and the animation works so well together!

@@quintboredom I think you're allowed to think Silco is bad. But I don't think he's all that bad of a person. I think he's more of a circumstantial villain, imo. Considering how much no one cares for the people in Zaun.

@@GreySeashell-j3m I agree that actions are important. But imo, situations affecting those actions are kinda important. Killing someone is bad, yes. But if its self-defense, its different.
Back to my main statement, its all about shades of gray.
@chalklanding Silco definitely does a lot of bad things and the he’s the closest the show has to a straight up villain but it’s somewhat disingenuous to ignore his redeeming qualities
He’s motivated by a completely legitimate desire for Zaun’s independence from the city that has oppressed them for two hundred years, he’s a genuinely loving father that would sacrifice the goal he’s worked towards his entire life for his daughter and tries to help her with her trauma and when his subordinates tried to get him to abandon the greater goal in pursuit of profits he shut them down immediately
Plus as much as people praise Vander he is also directly responsible for Silco’s escalation, not just for betraying and scarring him but also because he completely abandoned the cause they’d dedicated their lives to after hundreds of people had already died in pursuit of it
37:20 that scene of episode 6 always gives me chills. Jinx using the flare Vi gave her, the music playing, the camera panning around Jinx with Mylo and Clagger holding onto Jinx.

I just feel bad for all the people who decided to try League because of Arcane. Those poor souls and their sanity.
19:58 "She's on the case" love it, because Caitlyn in game literally says "I'm on the case" :D
19:29 netflix writers didn't write it. This series was shown exclusively on Netflix, but it was created from beginning to end by third-party writers and artists hired by riot games. Do not assign this series to Netflix. it's too good.
Word! 👆
Fun fact!!
The Tarot cards shown after the hospital scene are a premonition hinting at Viktor's future! Death symbolizes a fresh start or a rebirth, while the art on The Magician card resembles his future appearance (the third arm, cape and of course holding the hexcore). Very epic and def not sad :)
G L O R I OU S E V O L U T I O N
Very much.
o.o
13:10 So many reactors ask why Victor didn't get to go up on stage and act like Jayce is somehow a bad guy for that, totally ignoring the fact that Jayce asked him to go onstage and Victor specifically said he didn't want to.
"am i supposed to trust hemoglobin" ASHLEY THIS HAD ME DEAD 🤣🤣🤣
Himerdinger is one of the purest characters, yes you may think his decisions are a bit different to others but hes been alive for years now and has seen many things throughout his life, he wants everyone to be safe and everyone to be protected
The really interesting thing about Himerdinger is because Yortles are so long lived (Basically immortal compared to humans) his eyes are always on the future. He processes things in decades as opposed to years. But because of that he loses sight of the present, how the CURRENT people are suffering because to him, that suffering has no effect in the long run. He's not melevolent, he's extremely kind hearted, it's just he treats the people around him like little blips, soon to be forgotten, and his arc is about learning to see people in the now.
im still wondering why piltovans hate yordles in LOL universe.. I guess Heimer will do some horible decisions in season 2
*spoilers below*
It's obvious from his behavior when he finally goes to check out the undercity himself he had no idea how bad it had gotten. That's a blatant indication of him being a negligent leader and/or grossly incompetent. It took getting kicked out of the council to even *consider* checking out the undercity, in spite of having been in Piltover for 200 years.

Marcus seems underdeveloped because he's a morally weak character trying to fill the shoes of a much greater mentor in Grayson. People often miss a lot of the stuff with Marcus. Yeah he wasn't great, but he immediately did his best to fill the role his late teacher used to, trying to keep peace. But since Silco ran things less honest than Vander, that quickly turned to bribes and cover ups. And then Silco plays his ultimate trump card, but that's spoilers, so Ill edit this comment later.
Very true. Marcus is actually really well-characterised for having relatively little screentime.
Marcus is basically a stand-in for the general Piltover disgust toward the Undercity denizens. They all think it (even Jayce, and likely even Grayson... after all, her deal with Vander was basically the same one the Whisperers made with Hilltop... know your place and we won't come in here and put heads on pikes.) Marcus just explicitly states aloud the common attitude Topsiders have of the Undercity, which he has likely been taught his whole life.

as someone who played league for years and loves Vi a LOT, its really cool to see someone who has no idea about her character and Jinx and Caitlyn get super invested into their stories!
ive watched this show two times and im still SCREAMING over "You're hot, Cupcake" LIKE HELLOOOO?????????? THE SAPPHICS ARE WINNINGGGGGGGG
I CANT BELIEVE U LEFT OUT THE "easy easy easy" SCENE BETWEEN VI AND CAIT
IK I WANTED TO SEE HER REACTION TO THAT SO BADLY 😭
When Ash said, "I mean, they CAN be friends" idk why but I quickly said, "Yeah, say that to the homophobes"😭😭
Haha so fun fact someone else might’ve already said this but yes, Enemy was written for the show and not just Enemy, but Imagine Dragons have written other songs FOR the League of Legends game because the band LOVES the game. They have been known to be late to concerts because they were busy playing LoL!!
I don't understand how most reactors don't notice that there was a time skip as soon as they see Jayce. It makes me feel weird for audibly screaming "DADDY!" when I saw him ToT
Arcane really made me simp for an animated man.
@@hawkins347 You only simp for 1? 🤔
@@HansBotMaker Jayce is a big dude, there's not much space for anyone else 😂
@@hawkins347 I irrationally hate Jayce cause he is voiced by detective Espinoza from Lucifer 💀
@@stasiatheo I love Dan because of Jayce 😂
Ash: "Can y'all give her a break?"
Jinx: "NOOOOOO!!!"
Jinx has a massive glow up she’s perfect
Not the foreshadowing 🥲
@@dallasodeneal445 😢
silco? dis u?
@@bellac6311 yes it is
i am In Love w her fr
I’m in the “I’ve never heard of this show” but tbh I would watch you react to grass growing 🙌🏼
bestie give it a try, you won't regret it
Jinx is the type of person I would protect. I know I would gaslight myself from her bad deeds because of what she's gone through.
I love that you call her 'Miss Caitlyn' 😆 I started calling her that in my head without realizing
Literally 30 minutes ago I was like "I miss my girrrrrl" love seeing my power to manifest
Also, the show was made by Riot (league of legends company) and Fortiche productions. Netflix is just the streaming platform.
"such a sudden ending, I don't like it"
Me, who watched the whole season: ha-ha, well...
As for the Last 3 episodes, You might understand why people not only understand Silco but also see Silco being more honorable than our "heroes." Get the tissues ready and chocolates for the final act, it packs the biggest emotional punch of the season.
oh and Ashely wobbles but she don't fall down. look it up lol
"Don't cry. you're perfect."
Small little detail thats fun, Vi's prisoner number was 516. The roman numerals for each, (5, 1, 6) are (V, I, VI). Just a bit of fun
I love how they portray mental health issues (schizophrenia) in jinx... it's very well written and not just a ha haha look she's crazy and that's about it, there's a realness in it.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO, I CHECKED ONCE EVERY HOUR FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. IM SO HAPPY
Ashley!!! Serotonin levels are rising 🥳 soooo glad you are watching Arcane ✨
I know we’re all eating this up, and judging by the brief second cameo that we saw, could we get a heart stopper reaction or re watch with you, would love to hear your thoughts! Anyways love your videos and glad you decided to feed us today
OMG, the hilarity, the amazing editing, the incredible sapphic foreshadowing 😂! All the love for this show and your reactions!
She really went from euphoria to turning red to arcane like… ash how’s the roller coaster ride going?
Everytime you see Hailee in cinema, always assume it's sapphic.. if it's not, it always is
I really needed this video. I've been sad lately cause of family shit and this video made me feel so happy. Love you ash such an amazing comfort youtuber💕💕
omg SHE IS BACK, girl i have been waiting for this moment, since i was born
The editing on this is so chaotic and perfect and I need it injected directly into my veins.
Also Cait and Vi are OTP and why you skippin one of the best scenes in episode 6?
wait, the fact that ashley told caitlyn is on the case on 18:59 is exactly caitlyn's voiceline in lol "I'm on the case" GIRLLLLLL
Ok but watching someone interesting, watch a show based on a game they know little to nothing about, very exciting content!
OMG YES, I WAS SO WORRIED YOU WOULDN'T UPLOAD THE REST 😭. I had been putting off watching Arcane forever but finally watched the show as soon as I saw you were reacting to it, thank you so much for continuing!
the EMOTIONAL damage this series has given me…I can’t watch it with out crying
i liked how they portrayed Jinx and Silco's father-daughter relationship, it's kind of off putting but it's complex and interesting!
“Are you real?” is the most heartbreaking line
An exchange in the game:
Miss Fortune (not character in Arcane: Vi! I should have brought flowers!
Vi: haha, try cupcakes.
Yep.
