This series has meant the world to me. Since I started watching in 2014, it’s helped me survive the toughest periods of my life. It taught me how to hold on to the idea of hope, a better future, and kept me going during the darkest times.
Often, when I felt alone and forgotten, TWD was there to cheer me up and helped me forget the pain I felt. Through this show, I learned to face my fears, re-connect with my family, friends, and to never give up.
I want to thank AMC’s The Walking Dead for saving my life and making me a better person

A huge thank you to AMC, the actresses and Actors who put years and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears I’m sure - into making this show something that has connected with me on an extreme level - this show is more than a zombie genre show - this show is about finding family in the people around you and Love. And I think I can speak for all the fans of the walking dead out there when I say thank you for creating a family out of all of us ❤

Unfortunately I wouldn’t bet on it. All of the iconic shows Netflix had that I grew up watching are gone. Criminal Minds, American Horror Stories, Vampire Diaries, Gotham, etc. maybe not now, but at some point they’ll get rid of this one too, they always do.

Many of my friends couldn't understand my devotion to TWD. It was always about the stories of the characters, the fight to survive admist the devolution of society and to retain (or lose) their humanity. Going to miss these characters being together 💔😢
yes same , the zombies were interesting in 1st season but the development of characters and story was insanely good!

I saw him in his hometown of Thomasville, GA, a few weeks before he died, in Walgreens getting medicine. He was so nice to me, and thankful for the recognition, even while facing his final days.

Nice to see that there were some loyal fans who stuck with the show from the beginning to the end. It truly was a hell of a ride, sure there were some episodes that were completely bumpy. But they made up for some episodes to be put back on track. Now I can't wait for the Rick-Michonne spin-off and the Daryl spin-off as well.

The one thing that unnerves me is how the spinoffs are specifically built on particular characters. Part of the intrigue of TWD was the weird threat hanging over every episode that at any moment, ANY of the characters - no matter how central or pivotal - could be killed off. Surely Daryl's safe on the Daryl spinoff...there's suddenly plot armor that wasn't there before, and I think we might find this not as compelling for that reason??.

I grew up watching TWD and every moment has been absolutely wonderful. It's so sad it's coming to an end, and I'm eternally grateful this show exists. I've bonded with so many people, and its something me and one of my best friends has bonded over, bringing us much closer. There have been so many moments that have made me happy, made me cry, made me rethink life XD. Thankyou, The Walking Dead and thankyou AMC for bringing us this show
It still hasn't sunk in yet that the show is over. That's the impact it had on me. It was a great show with a fantastic crew. Already miss them. Thank you for the entertainment!

Still crying over this. I was 13 years old when I watched the first episode, now I am becoming 22 years old. I grew up with this show. It has thaught me things about love, life and every living thing on earth.

My husband and I started watching TWD from the beginning of Covid-19, and we binge-watched it till the last episode of season 11. We always wondered what the hype was about, so we wanted to give it a go and experience it together with all the other fans. And we're glad we did it as the show has taught us many good values about setting our eyes forward and to have faith that there's a better future coming for everyone. Thank you to the producers, the actors, and all who worked hard on making this franchise a huge success. Cheers!
My family and I found this show late.
4 years into the apocalypse but we caught up and never missed an episode.
This was the only show that knocked my favorite show out of my number 1 spot which was LOST .
Thanks to all involved with this show I now know I’m well prepared for the zombie ( WALKERS) apocalypse.

The Carol character gave me great hope, I was a deputy when I was young and had a particular woman that I seemed to interact with at least once a week. Her boyfriend would beat her every time he was arrested for possession of meth. We arrested him a lot. I tried every thing I could to get her out of that situation and it seemed she couldn't let go of this animal. Finally he beat her nearly to death and was sent to prison for 8 years. Every time I watched Carol on the show she gave me hope, hope that the woman I wanted to help finally helped herself. The character of Carol was a great symbol of inner strength. I will miss watching her every week.

Regardless whether you like TWD or not the affects. The acting and the time it took to make such great content has been awesome. The twist and turns, the storylines and the scenes have been immense. Best tv show ever
From the moment i caught the first episode i knew i would be around for the long run and boy was i right. I never stopped loving this show from the start. I want to say thank you for getting me through happy and awful moments in my life because one thing that was always there for me was this show! The hard work from everyone on the team meant something to me and millions of others, thank you again for everything and all the memories ❤️
yesterday was 1 year since it ended and im rewatching this tearing up. currently on season 5 on like my 8th rewatch of the show. loved this show for such a large chunk of my life its crazy

I'm going to miss this show. I started the show in 2012 after a friend of the family loaned the first 2 seasons to my wife and I. Needless to say we were hooked immediately and we have been fans ever since. Sad to see it come to an end but man was it crazy ride packed with so many emotions. Very very good show.

Out of all the shows in my life time. I have to say this is and always will be The One Show I Will Never Want To End! I Know everyone on this show has a life outside of Walking Dead but I know I will be sad when it would ever come to an end.

It is still kind of crazy. This used to be one of my favorite shows and love it or hate it, it made it 11 seasons.
It's not over with those Spin-offs on the way, but I'll always get nostalgic thinking about watching that first season on Sundays, and then many seasons after.
My cousins told me about this Zombie show that was coming on. They checked out alot earlier than I did. I made it all the way to season 10's snow episode and came back and caught the end of 11 on air.
It was fun watching these characters go through hell.

I will miss this show forever.. the fact that I started watching this at the age of 5-6 makes me so proud of myself that I had found a show that feels like family. I never watched The Talking Dead episodes that came after the shows so I very rarely heard the characters actual real voices and I found this clip so interesting to actually hear what they sound like in real life 😃
