Thank you very much teacher James..You did a great help for me with this great video. I came across a difficulty of one word last Sunday "through " and I wasn't sure if I pronounced it correctly. So I remember your video and searched it on RUclips. Absolutely crystal clear explained.
One thing I still questioning myself about the writing and the pronunciation of HICOUGH AND HICCUP, maybe I misheard it.. Is HICOUGH pronounced hiccup (even though the writing is in OUGH) or hicaff?
@@miawijaya7386 That's great, Mia! I'm super happy you could find the answer in my video when you needed it :) And yep, you're absolutely right: hiccough/hiccup are both pronounced "hiccup" :)
Absolutely brilliant teacher Thank you very much for your wonderful lesson but how to pronounce words ending with ters tors like teachers pictures actors thanks a lot.
Hey Mohammad Sorry for being slow to respond! 1. Words ending in -ture & -cher (like picture, creature & richer, teacher) are all pronounced with /t͡ʃə/, which is like the "ch" in "chop" followed by the "uh" sound, the schwa sound - "chuh". The exception to this is mature where -ture is pronounced with /tjʊə/, which is like "chure" (not "chuh") 2. -ter (like painter, better, writer) is pronounced as /tə / "tuh" Hope that answers your question! Let me know if you need anything else :) James
Sorry to differ you here. I have never found cinfusing. For me human mind is confusing. I am from Nepal. I have been teaching English. And from experience I came to know. Thank you.
What is the reason behind that sly smile that you are supressing while teaching bloody boring letters . Press the like button who agrees he is remembering something 😂😂😂😂
