He punted from his own 5 and it landed on the opponents 12. That's effectively an 83 yard punt. Man needs to go D1 FBS no question. Cannon leg.
He looks so relaxed too. Scary good.
It was the receiver's fault. Why was he standing on the 50-yard line? I could have put it over his head at that distance.
Scouts don’t care about how far a ball bounces. The returner is supposed to catch it. It’s all about hang time and this dudes is typical
Why the hell does the ref spot it to the 13 too LMAO
Man that shit started bouncing like 30 yards before that lol
Hey Isaac, it would be cool if you broke down punts. Different holds and kick and what they do and why you would choose one in different situations.
I'll see what I can whip up 🤙🤙
It would be cool to see how you kick a ball for a spiral vs. end over end punt. Like where you contact the ball with your foot and stuff.
Honestly half of punters even at the NFL level have one type of punt.
The vast, vast majority of punters at the collegiate level have one type of punt.
Nearly every HS punter has one type of punt.
It mostly comes down to leg. Yes, they’ll apply different levels of strength. They’ll turn their body and punt directionally.
For almost everyone except Sam Koch there are at most two types of punts, and 90% of the time, or more, they’re going for a spiral.
@@j.g.mcbell9494 most punters in high school and on have two types of punts, one intended to bounce forward and one intended to die near where the ball hits. our high school teams regularly practice toe up and toe down drops on punts. it is pretty much expected around here. several even have curling kicks, but you can tell they were former goalkeepers that were comfortable imparting a massive spin on the ball.
@@roromad9603 yeah, just, no.
I coach HS football, at an elite level. Maybe at your high school that’s the case. It’s not at 99.9% of high schools.
If you have this guy as a punter, just punt on 1st down, get a defensive stop, and kick a field goal. Who needs an offense?
😂😂😂
Seriously
We actually had a team do that to us in playoffs two seasons ago (highschool)...
We were up 6-0 at halftime. Their offense was god awful and couldn't move the ball whilst their defense was dominating outside of a lucky break away TD. Coming out from half they just punted and got the stop then kicked as soon as they were in range. We ended up losing that game 24-14.
@@xaninuax dang that’s a tough way to go out
@@jwavemadeyoulaugh9203 It hurt man..but we witnessed one of the best punters I have ever seen at any level. Down inside the 10 every. single. time.
The guy's a weapon. He needs more exposure than what he's gonna get in D3.
He needs to enter the transfer portal immediately!!
If he doesn't go to Nebraska, perhaps Iowa or Iowa State would also be good landing spots for him.
We got Tory here at Iowa. We are good
Dude goes to one of the top 50 liberal arts colleges in the country. I'm not sure he'd give up a Wabash degree to go to fricking Nebraska or Iowa State just for football. Those are pretty big steps down in prestige & earning potential, just for a shot at playing in D1. Duke or Stanford or Vandy, maybe.
@@cisium1184 You can't be forreal rn 😂.
@@jacksonmiller7745 man, before I would have reacted like you. but I realized to some people or athletes, going pro in their sport isn't a priority. sometimes schooling is just what they prioritize. so he does have a point.
@@jacksonmiller7745 LOL, as a graduate of a similarly elite college where I was a student-athlete, I assure you I am 100% "forreal rn." Perhaps that's difficult for you to comprehend, but then difficulty of comprehension is precisely the trait that keeps most people out of elite colleges. Not everyone dreams of being a "foopbaw playah." Of course, graduates of elite colleges do occasionally distinguish themselves in professional football - Bill Belichick and Steven Hauschka are just two examples.
4th & 34 on that last play bruh wtf the offense doing out there 🤣
Absolutely nothing! Just out there being big ass shirt hangers.
The offense is getting their punter in good punting position, obviously!
@@fadedlobo facts! Haha
@@rufushughes4331 lol 🤣
Hey, I'm a Wabash alum! Good to see the Little Giants getting a little exposure.
Dude I am stoked this channel is steadily growing. Keep it up 🤟
"very returnable" :boots it to outer-space, "Never mind."
This guy could EASILY play that position in the D1 league and has a GREAT leg/foot!!
He could play in the nfl and probably will
This punting job is spot on, fantastic, especially the roll on the last one.
One thing that's bothering me: the mic budget for the reporters. Do they have a venmo or something?
Yeah it's rough to listen to
Finally a spot light on the punters, nice 👍
Hey, man what a play! WOW 🤝
Isaiah Kurtis Pilkington - yes get him out of D3
I started watching this and was like why am I watching this…. The Final punt is why 😂
truth
A really good punter is invaluable to a team. I'm a Arkansas and SEC guy. If we didn't just sign a freshman from Australia, and already have NFL caliber kicker I would say go get him now. That was impressive.
So many good punters come out of Australia... Its honestly crazy.
@@radovan1690 it's because of Aussie rules
@@t4th. rugby hit different
If you got a hold of him and helped him sure up that drop a little he would be D1 FBS level for sure!
Hey Shane learn to spell. \
@@branmcg9844 What the hell did he mispell 😂?
@@jacksonmiller7745 Shore up as opposed to sure up😆
Shout out to number 1 on the coverage.
Can I request a video on coverage from the punters perspective?
Punters should be scouting and coaching their team constantly to maximise the impact of every punt.
Oh Hell Yeah! SHOUT! #1 working his tail off.
Wow, you're right - he's like a cheetah! I wonder what his time in the 40 would be? I looked up the roster - he's only a sophomore.
Sickkk.. mr club foot! Seems the punt is an under appreciated part of the game, and there’s more to come out of it in the years to come
Nice! Two coffin corners and then when needed blasts one about 70 yards.
When a punt is a "play of the game" you know it's D3
Might as well keep playing D3.... You're getting enough looks just posting your punts online. Don't need to be powerhouse FBS to get noticed nowadays. And yes I played D1.
Because........................... sorry to tell ya.......................punters are a DIME A DOZEN!
Welcome to New England buddy!!! Im sure BB has already got the tapes.... Hes locked in on our draft boards!
"He's a punter." - Bill Belichick
Deestroying would be proud!
Feel bad for this punter his offense got to 4th and 34
I don't miss having to face Wabash in the NCAC...
this guy is an okay punter (his form is not the best), but remember he is punting against D3 teams. outkicking coverage by hitting a line drive and no hangtime will lead to a touchdown or at least a long runback in D1. that last kick only had about a 3.2 second hang time. This kicker is probably where he should be.
sorry forgot you were a d1 punter
@@Psybandit he doesn't need to be a D1 punter to understand how that shit works lmao.
Repent Israelites all praise to the most high YAHAWAH AND HIS SON YAHAWASHI🙏🏽🛸🛸🛸🛸🤴🏽🦁⌛️🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽
Id pick up the punter and #1 they’re both great special teams players.
I agree he needs to enter the transfer portal if he would like. However I watched a entire video about D-3/D2 punters that did such and crumbled under the pressure and never punted right in D-1. Sometimes, someone's fuel is the fact that they are the big fish in the little pond, and sometimes the big fish in the little pond can still be a big fish in a lake. If these punters true concern is a college education, there's plenty of D-3 and D-2 Ivy league colleges handing out good scholarships to punt at a D-1 level. Let them get a 35k a year education for free.
Hey Rose-Hulman is in my conference!!! It’s always crazy to see teams I know on RUclips!
Yeah I went to Rose and it shocked me a bit to see them on here
I didn't any decent hang time.
Bengals next punter
4th and 34😭😭😭😭
I understand he belongs in d1. but maybe he's more interested in academics than the nfl. maybe his school is the one he wants to go to regardless of division.
This guy coffin kicks…. Puts opponents deep into their own territory (even tho returner should never field anything standing on his 10)…kicks from his 5 to the opponent’s 12,… no one seem excited or congratulated him on the field. Do they even realize what he brings?
2 stats that are misleading. A QB
throws a 5 yd dump pass and the receiver runs 90 yd to the house...QB gets credit for 95 yards passing. A punter kicks the ball 40 yards and it happens to take a lucky bounce to roll another 40 yards and he gets credit for an 80-yard punt.
Why take him out of D-III? Probably the most pure, unspoiled version of college football there is! Plus he is probably getting a better education while enjoying a more satisfying college experience.
@ThePatMcAfeeShow Have you seen this? Give this kicker some love dude!
Very impressive 🙏🏼❤️✝️
Commentators here are slept on
My name is Isaac Carlson and I'm with Boston College. Can someone please supply me with the name of the kicker and his school so that we may reach out to him? Thank you.
At first I’m like ain’t no way I clicked here to watch a punter but BROO gotta BOOT
Really bad return coaching on the opposing team 🤦🏾♂️
We need to get this on Pat McAfee’s radar boys. Share this video on Twitter and hammer him with mentions!
sign these commentators too😂 like fr they are so enthusiastic
Wabash football
Must have issues with either his grades or temper. Talent certainly isn’t the problem
Wait-Rose-Hulman has a football team? With tackling and stuff?
Punters are brought in to do good when their team wasn't doing so good
Hey, I went to Rose-Hulman. We're...not known for our football.
What's crazier is he probably adds a few more yards if he's more flexible
God bless❤️
I though Rhode Island Institute of Technology was in D2.
Forget D-I. NFL scouts need to mosey on down to this school right about now.
I'd love to have a punter like that at Arkansas
We want him @ LSU 💯💯
why does d3 college football look like high school football ( fan sections )
my man chose Rose Hulman for a reason, he aint stupid. Thats an elite school
He can go to the NFL hall of fame is the league is smart enough to sign him.
The one guy should’ve never caught that ball on the five.
How many years of eligibility does he have left?
Excellent spotting, excellent snaps too
A lot of ppl need to be taking outta d3 but no one is watching them smh
Bet he grew up idolizing Pat McAfee..........
Where do I go to get the last 72 seconds of my life back?
No shot, one of my brothers god to rose Holman and the other to wabash
Bro there’s so many schools that need you lol tf is going on
As a DePauw student, Wabash sucks. #screwwabash
Would be a different story if the return team put effort in
This video for him good exposure good job man
All they do is print
He better be punting that good
The returner sucks but this guy is pretty good.
Justin Tucker leg my guy 🦵
D3 or wherever he goes, he'll get an NFL look.
I played for Ohio Wesleyan, in the same conference as Wabash. I can tell you, Wabash and Wittenberg university’s-if you’re looking for players in D3 that belong in a higher division…look there first.
The biggest reason these great kicker/punters are D3 is lack of exposure. Probably played at a small school and got overlooked. A second big reason is that a lot of them weren't that great they're senior year, then drastically improved in college.
He is an NFL punter playing in D3 LOL.
took me the whole video to get that this is for the punter
Too bad he sucks at responding to snapchats
Why do you people obcess about punting
You know Bill Belichick is watching this
you don’t need emojis for everything
Take him him out of college.....NFL....
I was a second string punter and a DE I had good hang time but alright yardage THIS KID FUCKIN SENT IT BUD
Is this Wabash? I think I heard the announcer say that, but it might have been the guys last name. I was recruited to play football and baseball there but then I found out it was an all boys school and I was like ....ill pass.... but then Thank You Father, I stayed locally to stay rooted at church (matured later) and walked on to the D1 for baseball.
Yes it is!
I sweat indiana got the most D3 schools
number 1 was a incredible gunner too
That Young man definitely has a Gifted Leg, for kicking? Or He had one Helluva mentor, who Honed His skill n talents. The art of that skill is still ALIVE, God Bless Us.
Man can kick
Lmfao I’m thinking they finna show some returning highlights Naa just the punter 😭… respect thou Ik it’s hard to do that .
Is that team called “the little giants”???
These regular punts lol
Having a good punter/kicker is massive for net yards..u take it for granted but getting a kicker who can kick touchbacks pays dividends
I was fully going into this thinking ok a kick returner let's see what he does and could he really be good enough for the NFL. Then you hit me with a kicker and I'm like damn ok... And yes this guy should be on the scouting radar for sure!
WABASH, INDIANA - GO HOMIE
Why we think it's only talent in the D1
Looks like a real good punter
Buffalo bills need this guy
He should go to a team that has a bad offense so he could boom the ball way down the field. That's what Hall of Famer punter Ray Guy did.
