Error code: 99" everytime I launch TypeExtra. I check my firewall and that not seems to be the problem. Also, once I set my folders and TypeXtra fnds the games, I press in "Setup Games" ( seringue button ) and it doesn't seem to be fixing fixing as the second column remains with the Red X in it.

Chrome picked this up as a threat, then my windows defender auto-quarantined it because it considered it a "Severe Threat". It says the "cmdow.exe" file in Assets>GameServices>GWG contains a Trojan called "Win32/Wacatac.A!rfn". This doesn't look very safe to me..

well, everything seems to be working fine for me (for the most part) besides my downforward, downback, upforward, and upback movements not being registered on my d-pad for some reason, Only my up, down, left and right movements seem to be being registered. I'd really appreciate some help with this if anyone has any ideas, thx
That's really more to do with your controls mapper and game files, James, not TypeXtra. You could scour around for the right jconfig (or whatever the right file is) for your rom...

Also, after the UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT input commands there are these strange "UP AL" and "DOWN AR" etc input commands in jconfig, do you happen to know what these mean exactly?
I wonder why the downloads and even the Bitbucket repo have been removed? Most websites just link to servers that are no longer up, or lead to a 404. Took me some time but I finally ended up finding the tool somewhere. It's one of the very few tools I could find to play Type X games. Did you have personal or legal reasons for removing it all?
No. I've just moved all my application downloads to a different server. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. But tbh, thanks to google being a****les about my app and the suspicion that causes, I might just end up killing it off anyway (I assume you read all the explanations I've written about the application files).

I wonder if you can separate the elements that trigger browsers and virus scanners and fetch them through an in-app downloader instead? That'll get rid of that problem.
Yes - apologies - had a recent server change and now also having to upgrade my PC - give it a few weeks and this will be fixed. Alternatively, get the User Settings location from the log file. Open this and find - change this to false and it should start without the update check

that trojan file really was a virus it kept giving me pop up ads even when my ad blocker was on. Scan the files and delete the virus file when it shows up if anyone sees this

That's a Rom issue, not TXtra. TXtra is just a launcher.
Do you know how to fix test menu settings not saving? The game should restart when I hit save but it doesn't.

That's to do with your roms and any associated setup file. TypeXtra merely launches them. Good luck
