Theres a guy at my local track who runs consistent mid 9s in his 1000whp Ford F150. With 4wd, most violent launch ive ever seen.
Do you know at what point (HP/TQ wise) you would need a built/fortified transmission if putting the F-150 in AWD or even 4WD high?

Sometimes you have to make it "look" fast. I got 305 MT drag radials in the back of my 98 Supra on stock twin turbos. Granted it has a huge fmi with full 3 inch piping and full 4 inch exhaust, its still on stock twin turbos so maybe 350 whp ???
I have beadlocks on my stock z06 it spins like crazy on stock tires why not make it look good hook and go , fast truck dont cant count this fords out !

Not supposed to drive on bead locks... driving 10 miles on deadlocks is like doing a few hundred passes at the track. You need to be constantly tightening the bolts if your aren't. And if you dont know wjat happens then you should google that
Since Ford wasn't willing to build a true successor to the F-150 Lightning...it's up to the enthusiasts to do the job.
Ford is my brand, ONLY, but they're so dumb as of late.. 🤦 The lightning is now a 4 door electric truck. I HATE ELECTRIC

The best setup in a truck I've seen to this day! Great sleeper, insanely fast, and all-wheel drive. It looks so stock, neat, clean. Hope to see a lot more of this tuff truck and its cool owner. I'm amazed the diffs hold up to that much power. Would like to know more about all the running gear. Once again great truck and all the best to its cool owner.

I'm sure it's been said to death but the fitment,location and execution of everything really takes this build to the next level especially the engine bay with the symmetry and location of the turbos.

When it comes to these systems, there is agreed on terminology however an interchange is possible because nothing has been exclusively defined. In my opinion it's due to the huge amount of overlap these sciences have. Also, why define it when you can market it based on the individual.

Its stock motor too. I suggest he stay stock motor everyone that gets sleeved built blocks seem to always have problems with engine.
Its not crazy at all. Maybe yeats ago when these power numbers were few and far between but there's so many ridiculous builds now and vehicles making more power than this on smaller displacement engines.

Since I was a teen, I've loved true sleepers. Never having much $$$ for paint & body stuff it's really just been what I tried to aim for. Spinning wrenches is my comfort zone. I'm 53 & even now I drive unassuming older vehicles that are a little more than most might think. I love the truck but I have to say the GNX has always been my unatainable dream car.

I keep it in AWD but I'm about to get a built trans. Truck makes 720hp to the wheels and the drivetrain doesn't love it lol. I need a built engine too since the pistons gave up on me during 4th of July weekend.
@@RubberChickenMan007 The reason I ask, I have a F-150 with a stage 2 whipple on 93 and have gone through 1 tranny and later 1 valve body. In May I had to replace my Gen 2 coyote short block for a Gen 3 since I had multiple cylinder compression issues. It’s now buttoned back up and making 550rwhp on 35” all terrains. Two more questions please! Are you running an E85 tune to get that power and where are you getting the built tranny? Thanks again and good luck with that! Early next year I plan to lower my truck a bit, put on street tires (reduce that parasitic loss) increase the size of injectors, smaller pulley and E85 tune. That should put me in the 800+ rwhp range no problem.
@@LostHongshan I was gonna go through Lethal Performance and get the PBH built 6R80 but I'm still looking at options. The truck is on pump gas 91 with meth injection. I'm also running on 37's so there's a lot of stress on the drivetrain.

I would love a build sheet on that truck all the way down to suspension. That thing is crazy I love it. I had a 2016 sport with the 3.5 in it. And I miss that truck. So if possible I would love to build sheet on that truck. Thanks for showing it.

Man, there isn't any thing I would change, white is the perfect color, and being a two door short bed just makes it absolutely perfect. I love it, I'll probably dream about this truck tonight.
