This is a brilliant theme I’d like to see more of: those forgotten gems that we may miss in the melee of new games cascading onto our RUclips channels. Thanks
After watching this video I went searching for a copy of Arkadia, found it for 15€ unpunched. Played it this weekend and it absolutely blew my mind. It's funny how most people present it as a family game or a gateway + level game and I found it to be much more involved than I initially thought. One needs to be aware of the game's pace to be able to take the best out of scoring. Me & my girlfriend played 2 games: first time we were all over the place and not really "getting it", but the second time.......... BOOOM ! thank you for another great recommendation, Dan! I would have so much to say about how this type of game really clicks with me and how it is possible that in BGG is rated below 7. Even in the Rudiger Dorn list, this is not ranked among his best and I really think it is one of his best designs! But, in the end what is important is to play the games and think for yourself.
I love Ra - probably my favorite game - and Knizia designs generally. I own too many of his games but passed on Tower of Babel several years ago to diversify a bit more. From your video, I get why a player would want their offer rejected, but I didn't get why setting a high price for acceptance would be beneficial, or why an offer should be tempered from being set too high.
I love the Kraftwagen box cover. Absolutely gorgeous to me

Kraftwagen 2 is in the works - confirmed by the designer!

Couldn't agree more. Very happy you're enjoying it.
Thanks for sharing. Great video.
I love negotiation games and Tower of Babel is another game (of many) that I am hoping will be re-printed some day.

Because for each card that is accepted you get influence on the board for area majority points.
