    What do you think of Darling's rise from the minors?

    • @danielflynn8530
      @danielflynn8530 Год назад +2

      It's very difficult to rise from single A hockey as scouts just don't find that league for players that are on the rise. There are a handful that went from ECHL to NHL but that is still uncommon. AHL players have the best chance.

    As a recovering addict and Blackhawks die hard fan he is my hero. Always will be. Wouldn’t have that 2015 cup without him.

    So good that he realized his social anxiety and was able to overcome it. Alcoholism is often a reaction to this challenge, and it could also explain his bad attitude. I like it when he got his Blackhawks start... " He puked and then made 44 saves" . Great video guys, I've subbed - looking forward to more of this fantastic content.

    Random Factoid About Scott's personal life. He was once in Arizona and ran into a homeless man. Scott bought the man groceries and even rented a hotel room for the man. Scott did not want attention for his deed and was simply trying to help out someone who was struggling. His Uber driver told the local media about Scott's compassion. Dude has a great heart. He's out of hockey but now does stand-up commedy.

    darling was a huge reason chicago won the cup in 2015. they absolutely would not have made it out of the first round if it weren't for him coming in clutch after crawford had been struggling, he helped turn the series around and then they won it all. i always liked him as a kid, then i found out his story and it just made me respect the guy even more

    Honestly that career progression would be very for filling. Compare him to Taylor Hall who was first overall but doesn't have a cup ring, Hall has more money from over the years but this guy has nhl records and he contributed for a cup.

    Then he was traded to Carolina. Where he played subpar at best. Then dove back into the bottle. He was sent down to the Charlotte Checkers, where he disappeared into the history books.

      @@geneperry3411 think the gist of Scott’s career was his personal demons and how he overcame them. Not many folks in his situation in that position have their name on the Stanley Cup. Everyone’e career falls off at some point for various reasons. Whatever they were (your version is not Scott’s) he’s doing some tv work and comedy stuff. You aren’t.
