    A PLANE BUILT TO PERFECTION! Also, it's a really fast plane that can tractor 🚜 tow anything it's connected to. The F-15 and the A-10 are built tough for a specific purpose, kicking MAJOR BUTT in any conflict, it has the record to prove it too! The F-35 and the F-22 seem like white glove type of objects and can't be scratched. These planes are unproven in serious combat conditions and the F-15 & A-10 have done the task with flying colors. Anyway, thanks for the video 📸.

    It sounds to me like the F-15 might join the hallowed ranks of the A-10 and B-52 as the next plane that's so good that they never get retired. They this get constant upgrades.

    When the mission doesn't require stealth, which most don't, the F-15ex is the best there is in the world.

    The F-15EX has the strongest center box among any fighters worldwide, enabling it to effortlessly handle any G-force at various loads. In my view, the future F15 should leverage the rear cockpit by integrating advanced command computers to replace the weapon officer and command up to eight UCAVs alongside to the battle zone. Furthermore, with additional wing pods at stations 1 and 9, it possesses the capability to carry an enormous weapon payload to the war zone, akin to having R2D2 in the back seat. There are endless technologies embedded into the F15 that may be better than the F35 or the next 6Gen. The F15 will always be the workhorse that can carry massive weapons and now it has technology companions that don't care about G-force maneuvers. Compare: 1 (6 Gen Fighter) vs 1 (F15EX+8 UCAV).

    Comparing this aircraft to its 1970s ancestor does it some injustice. The only aspect it has in common is the basic airframe. This would be nothing like calling up a Vietnam Vet for service.

    The F-15 original concept was radically changed by the new project manager John Boyd who also created the first study on fighter combat physics saving energy in combat. His teachings are the basis of modern air combat. He altered the F-15 project to meet the new physics which resulted in an airframe with continuous upgrades may never retire. His story is well worth reading.

    Both the F-35's and F-22's can be mounted with under-wing mounting ; but most of the time there not because the uSAF doesn't want to compromise their stealth aspect. If they did equip an F-35 in this standard manner , just how much would the stealth get compromised?

    • @LordOmnissiah
      @LordOmnissiah 5 месяцев назад +1

      The underslung missiles basically nullify the stealth completely. You stick those missiles on an F-35 and it’s the same as flying an old Gen 4 non-stealthy plane

      I don't believe the U.S. Air Force really cares that much about stealth, if they did they would of opted for the YF-23, the YF-23 is stealthier and faster then the F-22, the F-22 is more maneuverable and that's why they went with it

    If nothing else, the Russian/Ukrainian shown just how fast weapons systems get used up and or destroyed. There is still a big requirement for “quantity” along with precision and capability. And the F-15 production line is still open. The F-22 production line is long gone. And a surprising number of “old, obsolete” platforms have proved their worth in that conflict, especially against some of the newer technology’s being deployed. Who would have thought old tracked machine cannon platforms would have been an affordable and effective weapons system against cheap and plentiful drone platforms, and give strike choppers and other aircraft such a hard time on the battlefield? The 40+ year old weapons platforms are being effectively used alongside the shiny new stuff.
