The one time I had a bad trip, ended up being a great learning experience. I took some shrooms, called ALL of my friends. They sounded excited when I told them I was on shrooms. Inevitably they would ask if they came over they could have some. I didn't have any extra, then they would say, "Oh I can't trip sit with you I'm busy". This hit me deep in the feels, causing a bad trip. So I asked myself why I had sooooo many shitty "friends". The answer? "You're a druggy and so are they. You're pretty shitty too. You're a loser. Move away from your toxic home town and stop doing drugs". Felt excited and happy after getting this answer. I moved that same week. Best decision of my life.
Shrooms completely halted my seasonal depression and I stopped going to counseling since I no longer needed it.I believe it was the key part in healing my depression.

Probably goes without saying, but if you're gonna do shrooms for the first time: 1.) be in a comfortable setting with people you trust 2.) have a trip sitter who knows what they're doing and can take care of you 3.) everyone's experience is different, and while it can be really good it can be really bad aswell. what you experience will depend on your current mental state and your genetics. Also, if someone in your family has mental health problems like schizophrenia, doing psychedelics and bring stuff like that to the surface, so only do them if you're ready and know what you're getting into.

Biggest beginner mistake is dosage you don’t want to take too little or too much. For me 3.5gs is the sweet spot but it varies depending on body weight

Lots of online sellers use 4-AcO-DMT in their chocolate, which is a research chemical the body processes into psilocin. Some people swear mushrooms are different because of other alkaloids and psilocybin. All that stuff I heard eventually processes into psilocin, which is what gets you tripping. Do your own research on the bars, though. I wouldn't trust any seller advertising a magic mushroom bar without any mushrooms in it.

(This is a literal novel, sorry lmao) My first time was 2g at Firefly just this past September. I was there with friends but I was by myself for the majority of my trip, and honestly preferred it that way. I found a hammock by the treehouse stage and just stared up at the trees while a band I didn't know was playing. The colorful changing lights on the branches and leaves, against the dark sky literally all just melted and changed shape until I couldn't decipher the branches from the sky. It just looked like a never ending tangled universe of indistinguishable branches. I don't know if the band playing had some serious reverb effects or if I was just hearing it that way. It was incredible. Every few minutes I'd peek my head above the hammock to see if anyone was staring at me (very self conscious lmao) and then would continue just losing myself in the branches. Sometimes I'd lose the feeling of the hammock underneath me and it'd just feel like I was rising up into the trees. I remember thinking "What the fuck were these DARE people talking about? Drugs are fantastic." A bit later, a guy and his friends came up to me and the couple in the hammock beside me, and asked us to relocate because they were his hammocks. I admittedly panicked so hard internally because I was being perceived, and also because I totally just took up someone's hammock for god knows how long. We thought they were just communal hammocks. I kept my cool externally, got up and apologized, they were super chill and understanding though. But now I had to walk around to A, pee, and B, find a new spot to hang out. Porta potties while tripping are a very humbling experience. That is all I will say. I found a little mini rave-ish spot and I spent my time coming down just kind of people watching and keeping to myself. Some guy came up to me, seemingly pretty sober, and said something that I couldn't understand over the music followed by "Thank you!" I said "What?" And he repeated himself but I couldn't understand him any better so I just said "Yeah no problem!" Never met or spoke to that guy ever, and had no idea why he was thanking me. That interaction still haunts me. Anyway, all that to say, as someone who is hyper self aware and super socially anxious, I've not had much success with weed. I just get so in my head and feel like an idiot. Nothing about being stoned is enjoyable for me. I thought if I can't handle weed, how will I be able to have fun with literally anything else? Even though it's still a bit of a battle while tripping, it's so much easier to simply enjoy the experience and not freak out that I'm losing a little bit of control over my mind and body. 10/10 will do it again lmao

The first time I did shrooms I was 13. On May 4 1984 I ate two large handfuls(I mean large )of shrooms. My friend estimates I ate about 40 grams.For a couple hours I was in a different dimension with these creatures who where hard at work making big tubes(pipes). Too much happened to tell here.
My first time doing shrooms was a bad experience. I took a higher dose than recommended for beginners, I was really anxious, and there were too many people around. All of those combined if sag contributed to my bad trip. This was last year and I actually tried shrooms again twice this past week and both were really great trips. I love shrooms now and I’m glad I gave them a second chance.

I did 6.5g for my first but I think my self confidence in the bad trip parts of it fought it off thinking "I can make it through this" the entire time. my vision was the best part of the trip changing depending on the music I played. my best friend was also really supportive over the phone but in general I couldnt speak, understand or read english lol. I tried to watch movies but most of it was gibberish and I played with my dog. my dog looked godlike or crazy beautiful. I was for some reason amused and amazed by her fur. shes a husky so she had that crazy stare too. this whole trip lasted 7 hours because i was praying for the sunlight to come and i had work that same morning 😭

I micro dosed mushrooms after fighting depression for over 7years, being incapable of work for the last 2years. In shot summary I became depression free within a couple of months and still I'm 6months later it saved me.

My first shroom experience was actually 4-aco-dmt (powder that converts to psilocybin) and unknowingly it was about the equivalent to 20 grams of mushies. Good thing I did this alone, in the dark, in bed. Because that's when you're transported, you've fully left your body. I wont go into too much detail but I was in a 4-dimensional Mayan/Aztec temple floating down this corridor leading somewhere. The temple walls and pillars were made of slithering interweaving snakes that ate each other. I reached the end of the corridor where I see what I can only describe as an ancient goddess in front of me. She started speaking in tongues but it was soothing, her words pulsated through me and made me drift into a feeling I could only call simultaneous death and rebirth and i learned that dying and lifes beginning feel the same. When I finally came back to reality I looked over in the corner of my room and a plastic stop and shop bag looked like a possessed doll lol. Also I felt beautiful in the mirror. Long story short. Mushrooms are wild man.

Probably goes without saying, but if you're gonna do shrooms for the first time:
1.) be in a comfortable setting with people you trust
2.) have a trip sitter who knows what they're doing and can take care of you
3.) everyone's experience is different, and while it can be really good it can be really bad aswell. what you experience will depend on your current mental state and your genetics.
Also, if someone in your family has mental health problems like schizophrenia, doing psychedelics and bring stuff like that to the surface, so only do them if you're ready and know what you're getting into.

Biggest beginner mistake is dosage you don’t want to take too little or too much. For me 3.5gs is the sweet spot but it varies depending on body weight
First time I did mushrooms was when I legally acquired them in DC (still had major drug deal vibes but yeah you can literally just buy them there lmao) and accidentally took too much (4 or 5g I think, and I'm a skinny boi) and had the worst existential crisis of my life. Shit basically threw my brain full force against a wall and left me to pick up the pieces.

Instead of adding blended shrooms to water, add it with lemon juice to a drink. The lemon juice helps to better dissolve the compound in the drink. Lemon ginger tea with sugar works well

Lots of online sellers use 4-AcO-DMT in their chocolate, which is a research chemical the body processes into psilocin. Some people swear mushrooms are different because of other alkaloids and psilocybin. All that stuff I heard eventually processes into psilocin, which is what gets you tripping. Do your own research on the bars, though. I wouldn't trust any seller advertising a magic mushroom bar without any mushrooms in it.

(This is a literal novel, sorry lmao) My first time was 2g at Firefly just this past September. I was there with friends but I was by myself for the majority of my trip, and honestly preferred it that way. I found a hammock by the treehouse stage and just stared up at the trees while a band I didn't know was playing. The colorful changing lights on the branches and leaves, against the dark sky literally all just melted and changed shape until I couldn't decipher the branches from the sky. It just looked like a never ending tangled universe of indistinguishable branches. I don't know if the band playing had some serious reverb effects or if I was just hearing it that way. It was incredible.
Every few minutes I'd peek my head above the hammock to see if anyone was staring at me (very self conscious lmao) and then would continue just losing myself in the branches. Sometimes I'd lose the feeling of the hammock underneath me and it'd just feel like I was rising up into the trees. I remember thinking "What the fuck were these DARE people talking about? Drugs are fantastic."
A bit later, a guy and his friends came up to me and the couple in the hammock beside me, and asked us to relocate because they were his hammocks. I admittedly panicked so hard internally because I was being perceived, and also because I totally just took up someone's hammock for god knows how long. We thought they were just communal hammocks. I kept my cool externally, got up and apologized, they were super chill and understanding though. But now I had to walk around to A, pee, and B, find a new spot to hang out. Porta potties while tripping are a very humbling experience. That is all I will say.
I found a little mini rave-ish spot and I spent my time coming down just kind of people watching and keeping to myself. Some guy came up to me, seemingly pretty sober, and said something that I couldn't understand over the music followed by "Thank you!" I said "What?" And he repeated himself but I couldn't understand him any better so I just said "Yeah no problem!" Never met or spoke to that guy ever, and had no idea why he was thanking me. That interaction still haunts me.
Anyway, all that to say, as someone who is hyper self aware and super socially anxious, I've not had much success with weed. I just get so in my head and feel like an idiot. Nothing about being stoned is enjoyable for me. I thought if I can't handle weed, how will I be able to have fun with literally anything else? Even though it's still a bit of a battle while tripping, it's so much easier to simply enjoy the experience and not freak out that I'm losing a little bit of control over my mind and body. 10/10 will do it again lmao

All of those combined if sag contributed to my bad trip. This was last year and I actually tried shrooms again twice this past week and both were really great trips. I did 6.5g for my first but I think my self confidence in the bad trip parts of it fought it off thinking "I can make it through this" the entire time. my vision was the best part of the trip changing depending on the music I played. my best friend was also really supportive over the phone but in general I couldnt speak, understand or read english lol. I tried to watch movies but most of it was gibberish and I played with my dog. my dog looked godlike or crazy beautiful. I was for some reason amused and amazed by her fur. shes a husky so she had that crazy stare too. this whole trip lasted 7 hours because i was praying for the sunlight to come and i had work that same morning 😭

My first shroom experience was actually 4-aco-dmt (powder that converts to psilocybin) and unknowingly it was about the equivalent to 20 grams of mushies.
Good thing I did this alone, in the dark, in bed. Because that's when you're transported, you've fully left your body.
I wont go into too much detail but I was in a 4-dimensional Mayan/Aztec temple floating down this corridor leading somewhere. The temple walls and pillars were made of slithering interweaving snakes that ate each other. I reached the end of the corridor where I see what I can only describe as an ancient goddess in front of me. She started speaking in tongues but it was soothing, her words pulsated through me and made me drift into a feeling I could only call simultaneous death and rebirth and i learned that dying and lifes beginning feel the same.
When I finally came back to reality I looked over in the corner of my room and a plastic stop and shop bag looked like a possessed doll lol. Also I felt beautiful in the mirror.

I can't find a source anywhere for any good psylocybin in my area , I suffer some pretty bad depression and i got a chance to try K and man it was a miracle substance , I felt free , the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released , that's exactly what it did
