I just want to thank you, Norrine. No matter your subject matter, your videos always are helpful -- if not the video concept itself, then simply your calm, confident, encouraging voice. I struggle with overbuying stuff I don't get much chance to use because my space is so disorganized and overcrowded. I'm chipping away at it a little bit at a time, and your videos are always so welcomed and comforting. I've been through some life-changing traumas with my kids, and I'm working to find my footing again. Art and crafting in various formats used to be such a big part of my life, but I've really shut down with complex PTSD, and I'm working hard to take care of myself again and to find the things that give me joy again. Thank you for being such an inspiring and comforting part of my journey. You make such a difference ♥

Love this idea! My craft space is in my basement, so I have concrete walls which makes it difficult to put up wall storage by myself. I can totally do this! Thank you so much for sharing!
I am a huge fan of verical storage. I screwed some screws on a scrap piece of wood. Screwed it to the wall and strung an old plastic chain from a halloween decoration . I use curtain rings and the green plant support clips to clip up all my random supplies. I use the screws in the wood piece fornheavier things and the chain draped for the rest. Works beautifully and was FREE

I have been struggling for years having a creative mind that is always at war with the analytical organized mind. I see this within you as well, but you discovered answers. I have shared with 3 other women today who also struggle and we are all grateful artisans! I envision my war within getting organized to enhance my creativity because of YOUR analytical/creative mind and resource driven ideas has created excitement for me. Just so grateful! Thank you
I have an old shower caddy that was designed with a tension rod that was secured between the ledge of a bathtub & the ceiling. I painted it, and now it is secured between my kitchen counter & ceiling. I use it to display my recipe box and decor items. It could be used for many things in the kitchen. It has 3 little shelves & looks more like metal than plastic/aluminum.
Love this idea! I already have a bunch of the square-shaped grids, but haven't been happy with the hooks... Oh, I do need these hooks that both hang and snap!! It's a long way to the nearest DAISO. What are those hooks specifically called, and are they available anywhere else? Thanks for this great idea!
Great ideas. I am currently in a 450 sq condo. So, my bedroom with a single bed (I said it was tiny) on the left and craft storage on the right. My table in the living room is my craft table. The clutter was too much. So I bought two rolling wire grids and accessories and went vertical. I added some dollar store plastic baskets and secured them with zip ties. I actually had little shelves that clicked on the grid, but pretty useless. So that is where I put my plastic containers on and they rest there ,but are zip tied. My only fault is the 2nd one just has 5 big shelves on one side and it is wobbly. I need to work on sorting out things to make it sturdy and it may mean putting one or two of the shelves on the back side for balance.
Sounds like you and I are alike!!! We find crafty ways to make things work! I love that you are even thinking of ways to make your storage do double duty for your shows! Way to go!
Absolutely incredible Norrine‼️🤩 This is such a seriously awesome way to use vertical space‼️😊 The fact that it’s not attached to the wall makes it all the more genius‼️😉 You’re SO very talented gal‼️Thank you SO very very much for sharing❣️😊💜

Great idea for vertical storage 😊 I recently visited a Diaso store for the first time, and was amazed at the inexpensive storage options. I would love a video tour. Your videos are always great - I look forward to seeing what you share next time.
Great idea. Thanks for the level app recommendation and for mentioning audible. I had no idea there was a monthly subscription. Great idea Norrine! I’m so glad you share your great mind & talents here with us! ❤️ your channel! I also have never heard of Daiso! A tour would be great! Thank you so much Norrine!
I needed this vertical idea for my small room so badly, thank you! I converted an old tall, narrow CD rack into crafty storage by cleaning and spray painting it to go in the room. It just wasn’t tall enough to utilize the entire space from floor to ceiling. This is perfect and I can paint it to match my space. 🎉😊
Norrine, the mirror trick was a very clever way to show us how to secure the zip ties. Thank you for this wonderful & useful video. I have ideas now for using this approach to fit my space & storage needs. Very cool!
What a super idea, Norrine! Pity we have no stores like Daiso here in South Africa, and imports are prohibitively expensive. But, I am good at using similar finds at thrift stores, and turning them into useful items. I will share on the FB group as soon as I have constructed my tension rod storage! Happy Valentine's day!
What an Awesome idea!! I love it! I've got a dresser that I could do that on. 😊 You're so good at thinking up new ways to save space! Love you! ❤ Happy Valentine's day! ❤
I love this!! You would have even more storage space if you hung the wreath, centered above the window, on the Command hook. And it would still look nice. I'd really enjoy a Daiso tour. I'd never heard of Daiso until I found your channel, and up until now, I thought they just sold storage containers. I love how smart and creative you are! I too have an old house with plaster and lath walls and I'm always am afraid that one more nail will bring the whole wall down!
Or just a giant chunk! YIKES
I am really enjoying your videos 😊
Thank you, Kimberly!
I'm in the middle of reorganizing my craft space which is IN my bedroom! Very limited space. This helps, so thank you!
You are so welcome!
Great idea Norrine! I’m so glad you share your great mind & talents here with us! ❤️ your channel!
I also have never heard of Daiso! A tour would be great! Thank you so much Norrine!
To be honest , she the genius in her creativity skill I have seen on RUclips. How have you been following this page.!???!!!!!!!!!
Love it!!!!!!!
I live within driving distance of a Daiso, sand I really need not to poke holes in my walls. Great DIY concepts and encouragement, thank you.
Yay! So glad this will be easier for you to replicate. Let me know how it goes. :)
I've been wanting to find an old CD rack to play with!!!! Good for you! Let me know how it goes if you make it!
You have just given me so many ideas for new storage in my tiny area! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Yay!!!! That's always my goal! :D
Love this idea. Would be great for clearing up my desk so I can move this up against the wall rather than filling the desk itself
Yay! Let me know how it works out for you.
Norrine, the mirror trick was a very clever way to show us how to secure the zip ties. Thank you for this wonderful & useful video. I have ideas now for using this approach to fit my space & storage needs. Very cool!
I wish it was planned! LOL It was a very happy accident that worked in my favor. Thanks for checking in. 💜
Awesome idea! Definitely can make use of this where my sewing machine table is against the wall. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Yay!!!! Hope you try it out!
Another brilliant,creative,cost effective solution.
I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks, Katie
Drat..... I wish it were easier for me to find items that could be obtained everywhere!!!! Hope you can find similar options! xoxox
This was such a great idea to have plenty of storage space and not mess up the walls...just great.
Thank you so much!
What an Awesome idea!! I love it! I've got a dresser that I could do that on. 😊 You're so good at thinking up new ways to save space! Love you! ❤ Happy Valentine's day! ❤
💟💜💟
Great idea to use the tension rods with grids for storage! You are so clever!
Thank you!

Watching you all these years has helped me learn to think outside the box, which is absolutely amazing! Thank you for all you do for us.
I'll take you shopping with me!!!!! They do have AMAZING storage! But, OMGosh - the other stuff! LOL Thanks for checking in. oxo
Tension rods! Very clever. Thank you.
