I am putting casters on the bottom of a wall cabinet and a raw-edged slab of marble for a butcher block countertop. It will be an island for my small kitchen. On wheels, I can move it out of the way or close for extra work space when needed.
WOW moraine, I'm so excited you got this all together for us !!! something for everyone! Spring coming I'm anxious to implement some of those great ideas! I truly enjoy every video, thank you so very Ps I'm not sure how to spell your name.. Moreen?? Help
So many great ideas Norrine! My craft table is a sewing table that opens up to about 5 ft long and almost 2 ft in width. It doesn't have drawers underneath but I do have some baskets filled with craft stuff. I've been struggling with how to store my 12 x 12 paper pads which are currently on the floor. But I think I have a solution. We have an old, and I mean old, stereo system in a cabinet, even has a glass door. Nothing is working anymore so I am going to get rid of the turntable, the tape player and the radio part of it. It has 4 shelves that will be perfect storage for those paper pads! There is a small section of wall in my craft room that my hubby needs to fix and when he finally gets it done then I can move the stereo cabinet into that corner! Always a work in progress in the craft room! Thanks for sharing and getting me inspired! 😍
Please donate your stereo system. Those are desirable and usually pretty easy to repair for those that know how. I used a record cabinet for my 12 x 12s, but had to go to crates because I got a new turntable. 😊
I really love repurposing dated furniture into new uses, like old entertainment centers made before flat-screen, super slim TVs were invented and baker’s racks that were so popular in kitchens back in the day. Another cool upcycle that I saw a few creators do is change dated furniture into doggy/kitty “mansions” for them, and they were adorable.
My husband created a lovely bench out of an old crib during our lockdown time. It has two wonderful drawers and is so beautiful that I use it in our living room. I use the drawers for seasonal throws and pillow covers. Now I have a twin size head and foot board we would like to turn into a small end table and maybe a wall shelf.
I have a covered front porch that is delightfully shady in Summer. I added a cabinet that I painted a complimentary color. It has a few drawers at the top and doors below. That storage space really adds to creature comfort. It holds items like paper towels, dog brushes, scissors, etc. the odds and ends I like to have handy and not keep running indoors to fetch. Oh and I added casters so the cabinet is easy to move around.
So nice to have all these wonderful ideas in one spot! We have one of those console tv cabinets and it has a cover in the front that slides up into the top. We put a shelf in it for our printer and we have a charging station in there. My Victrola lives on the top of it.
It NEVER would have occurred to me to upcycle a door. I removed my closet door a few years ago, but I never actually got rid of it because it's a solid slab of material and I felt bad throwing it away. It's just been hanging out behind my tallest furniture against the door. But seeing all these amazing ideas you showed just blew my mind. Thank you!!!
Other youtubers I watch use cold porcelain in molds for decorating their crafts. I personally have also used hot glue and paintable fast drying silicone caulk (which takes a heck of a lot longer than hot glue). If you don't get these products in the molds perfectly, there will be little 'pockets' in your project. Since my crafts tend to look vintage, I don't mind this, because (to me) it looks like "nicks" in the final product as if it were well used. Also, by watching this video you gave me an idea for using some folding doors to use in my show booth. I am also trying to figure out something to do with my children's old crib. Thank you. 💕
I absolutely LOVE all of these ideas! As a hint for the hummingbird feeder (stock photo probably) NEVER use dyed hummingbird food from the store! The red dye is very bad for them! I love feeding hummingbirds! I use a 1 to 5 ratio of sugar to water. Boil the water, add sugar, stir to disolve and allow to cool. For fall I use a 1 to 4 ratio of sugar to water as hummingbirds need more fuel for migration needs! Always change the feeders at least twice a week with a thorough cleaning of the feeder! I’ve found that those plastic or metal straw cleaner brushes work the best for cleaning all of the tiny areas in a hummingbird feeder! 😊😊😊
Ohhh thank you SO very much for sharing this vital information about feeding the precious lil hummingbirds❣️ One last point is, take your feeders in if its going to freeze at night or temps drop. I seen a poor lil hummingbird stuck on a feeder by his tongue! I pray the person knew how to remove it without hurting it or injuring it further. Bless your heart for caring for these little blessings God gives us in His creation to admire❣️💜

I got a bank of old lockers in great shape on FB Marketplace that I use in my laundry room to store cleaning and other misc items. I labeled each one with a Dymo labler and love the vintage look, not to mention how functional they are. The only roadside find I ever saved was a little two-shelf book case that I drilled holes with a paddle bit in the top and corresponding holes in the second shelf for long handles of gardening implements to slide through. It is out in my garage holding rakes, shovels, brooms, hoes, etc.
OMG!!! You have really inspired me to make some of these items. There are lots of free things I see all the time to get started with! Thank you so much!! I love the hummingbird chandler and the dog bed TV cabinets!
3:01 This is my absolute favorite out of all the projects. 11:21 This is my second favorite. How sweet! I knew someone who actually created his own business in the early 1990's by taking old TV consoles like these and turning them into aquariums. This was long before "Tanked" ever came out.

I’m Always on the 👀 out on the side of the road. Scored a nice dresser for my crafts! Couple of chairs which I used the spindles for candles! All free too. Found a modern floor lamp that worked. Just needed some glue to hold the glass vase on. Free! It’s amazing what people throw away. These are incredible ideas. Thanks for sharing Norrine. ❤😊

Hello Norrine. What fantastic ideas! Although I never seem to find beauties as these on the side of the road or thrift stores, I love them none the less. TYFS
Great ideas. Many of which I desperately need. Only thing is that I already have so much stuff and my husband would have a fit if I picked up anything else to bring into our house
Hi there Norrine, I love these ideas! I have a small coffee cart - former sewing machine cabinet. It is in my kitchen right now. I added a bottom shelf for storage and wheels so it is easily moved around if needed. I think my favorites were using the old doors. Have a good night. Similar to other comments, don't have the space but if I did...

WOW, great video Norrine!! Honestly, two seconds into the video, I gave you a thumbs up! That's because I knew it was going to be one that I would watch over and over again to get wonderful ideas! Thank you!
Hi Norrine, So many great idea. I love the fact that the up-cycled items are used in unique ways that allow them to “live” and they don’t add to the landfill. I’m pretty sure there are some items that my mom has that won’t fit in her retirement apartment, but can be repurposed into something that could still be used. Thank you for sharing all of these ideas. PS I remember how you cleverly separated your living room into two spaces. Such a great idea. 👍
Yes, Norrine, I remember your living room 'room'. 🥰 Wasn't that your Clutter Fairy times? I wonder where they got the pink hose for the tire rim hose holder.
I live in the Bootheel of Missouri and our flea markets and used furniture still sell cribs. I didn't realize that some states prevented selling them st used stores. Love yourideas.
You can use old pieces of wood and put a food safe epoxy on them. We do this all the time for making cutting boards as well!! I will be on the look out now. Thank you 💕💕
I used an old microwave cabinet stand with the 2 cupboard doors at the bottom to hide the cat box in by just drilling a hole on one side. I keep other supplies under the top shelf and at the very top I put a cat bed for her. Works great. No one want to see a cat box anywhere . I also painted an old dresser and put wheels on the bottom for an island in my kitchen. I love it and you can't even see the rollers because I put them on braces underneath and the dresser is maybe 1/4'' above the floor. I love going to the swap tent to pick up things to recycle. Awesome video. ☺♥
I love all your videos, and idk if anyone else feels the same but I use your videos as ASMR. Your voice is soothing so I turn the volume down a little and watch, listen, and off to sleep I go. It's hard to see all your neat ideas though lol, so I have to watch more than once.
I have a shelf in my kitchen that's actually a headboard that broke. I also took a piece from a piano & turned it into a shelf. I wanted a slat wall or peg board for my craft room, but this video gave me the idea of using crib sides, which I do have. I would love to try more of these too. I will post pictures of my diy shelves in the FB group.
Love the things you unfortunately i dont have much room in my 2bedroom flat no yard to work in or basement live in uk England where i have downside from house to flat but nowhere to put anything i watch all your videos really great
I only wish "stooping" was a thing here in England, but unfortunately, if you leave stuff on the kerb here, you get fined for "fly tipping" even if it's only there for a day! Still, I have plenty of "stuff" of my own that needs upcycling, so thanks for this tutorial!!
Ohhhh WOW! Soooo many cute and imagination ideas. Thanks for sharing ❤️ by the way Noreen are you still doing virtual decluttering/ moving packing jobs? Ty
IOD makes beautiful moulds to make moulding for furniture, frames, pots, anything. They have a YT channel. Their moulds are not cheap but they are very good quality. I used them to make some vintage looking pots from cheap clay flower pots. Hope this helps. I can’t wait to see what you do with these. Thanks for the inspirational upcycles. My daughter and son-in-law bought a new house last year and I can’t wait to try some of these out.
Love all of these ideas. I had an old singer sewing machine table like the one you showed.. I put in my garden for potted plants and had vines going up the side and in thru the wrought iron base. As for the furniture and the molds, you are exactly right. Molds and soft, air dried clay. The results are gorgeous. I’m not sure if I’m ‘allowed’ to put a company name in here. I’m new to RUclips and not sure of the etiquette. If I can, let me know. And I will provide it for you. Thanks for sharing all of these ideas! I love the dresser on its side! What a fantastic idea
Go to IOD Iron Orchid Designs. They have amazing molds, decoupage papers, stencils etc. there are many different types of air dry clay out there … you just need to find one that works for you. Hope you can find some good info there.

Thank you!!! I can't wait to see either. LOL
Yes, Norrine, I remember your living room 'room'. 🥰 Wasn't that your Clutter Fairy times? I wonder where they got the pink hose for the tire rim hose holder.
It was 🥰
Oh, the possibilities!!!!❤😊
Right??? Now I just need the items and the space! LOL
Loved this video and all the examples you provided!! I love your channel too ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much!!!! Happy to have you here with me.
I live in the Bootheel of Missouri and our flea markets and used furniture still sell cribs. I didn't realize that some states prevented selling them st used stores. Love yourideas.
Want a shopping partner???? LOL
Wow! You did it again, Norrine! Loved these ideas so I saved the video. Hopefully I can use some of them soon. Thank you ❤
I'm hoping to find many of the items to get to work on too!!
Absolutely incredible! I love all these ideas!!! Any thoughts for a gun cabinet? It’s a nice piece of furniture but it’s so tall & shallow…
Perfect for displaying and storing quilts and/or blankets!
Iron Orchid Design molds with air dry clay for the flowers for the DiY u wanted to do
OMGosh! Thank you!!!!!
Fantastic suggestions! I would never have thought of most of these ideas!
Glad you like them!
I’ve used old doors and placed them on file cabinets to make a desk.
That is such a great use for them!!!! And, wow! So much work space!!!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer could also use as a dining room table with something else for legs. Maybe drill legs from another piece of furniture.
Awesome ideas. Now I will look harder for some fun ideas.
Please do!!!
You can use old pieces of wood and put a food safe epoxy on them. We do this all the time for making cutting boards as well!! I will be on the look out now. Thank you 💕💕
So good to know!!!! Thank you!!!!
You are my kinda gal!!!!! I love that!
I love all your videos, and idk if anyone else feels the same but I use your videos as ASMR. Your voice is soothing so I turn the volume down a little and watch, listen, and off to sleep I go. It's hard to see all your neat ideas though lol, so I have to watch more than once.
That is so sweet!!!! Thank you 💜
Hello my favorite person. ❤
Hello 😊 Have a great day.
I absolutely loved this video. So so many ideas. Wow!
I'm gonna need more space. LOL
Would love to see up-cycled china hutch ideas if you come across any of those!
Oh... I really hope I can find one!!!!
I'm getting back into things...I lost my younger brother suddenly a couple weeks ago and it's been a struggle....
OH!!! I am so sorry to hear that!!!! Sending you extra hugs. I'm so sorry.
Loved your ideas. Would love to do the hose holder
So would I!!! Surprisingly cute!
OMGosh!!! I can't wait to see!!!!! You are just FULL of amazing ideas 💜
Oh cool, would love to see pics!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer i posted the one shelf. It's not too exciting. I will post some others on FB later
Love the ideas!
Thank you, Becki!
I'm keeping this video to look at for inspiration. So many great ideas!!
Thank you, Phyllis!
Love all of your ideas!! Keep them coming.
More to come!
I’ve seen people use resin in the molds and some people have even used hot glue!
I have those molds in my wish list!!!! Can't wait to try them.

@@TheCraftyOrganizer Im looking forward to those as well!
Love the things you unfortunately i dont have much room in my 2bedroom flat no yard to work in or basement live in uk England where i have downside from house to flat but nowhere to put anything i watch all your videos really great
Thank you for watching 💐
Love your ideas.
Thank you, Judy! 💐
Excellent ideas!
Thank you so much!
I only wish "stooping" was a thing here in England, but unfortunately, if you leave stuff on the kerb here, you get fined for "fly tipping" even if it's only there for a day! Still, I have plenty of "stuff" of my own that needs upcycling, so thanks for this tutorial!!
Really??? Oh my gosh!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer It's not so bad as it sounds, as we have several "free-cycle" type apps so we can recycle things that way.
Whew! I'd be lost without those sites! LOL
My word. What a great video
Thank you!
These are such creative ideas!
I love SO many of these ideas! I'm saving this video. Thanks! ❤
So glad! Thank you!
Ohhhh WOW! Soooo many cute and imagination ideas. Thanks for sharing ❤️ by the way Noreen are you still doing virtual decluttering/ moving packing jobs? Ty
Not as much... but I may start doing smaller jobs again.
🥰 thank you so much for the inspiration! 😊
Thank you for watching!!!!
Hi lady... So many great ideas❤
Hi, Vaye!!!!! Thank you, my friend!
OH!!!! I've heard that name when watching - thank you for the reminder!!!!!!
I just inherited 5 (FIVE!) sewing machine cabinets and wondered what to do with them. Thank you!
Oh my gosh!!!! You are so lucky!!!! Let me know what you do!
Hello Norrine :) Oh my goodness, wonderful ideas and inspiration ! Thanks so much for sharing ! irissavedbygrace
I’m so glad you liked them!! 💜
Great ideas❤
Thank you!
Wow lots of great ideas!
Thank you!
You are amazing. ❤
I can't take credit! These were all amazing ideas that I just shared. :)
I love any and all ideas and suggestions - so name drop all you want! :) Thanks for watching!
Go to IOD Iron Orchid Designs. They have amazing molds, decoupage papers, stencils etc. there are many different types of air dry clay out there … you just need to find one that works for you. Hope you can find some good info there.
I will!!!! Thank you so much.
Wow so many great ideas
Thank you!
WOW!! My mind is blown at all these great ideas and I cannot wait to see your upcoming upcycling projects! 😃
It may take me a while to find some of the items.... but I can't wait either!!!!
