@@darthportus It shoots a very small and hardly that lethal projectile at arround 600-650 Fps if my memory serves me well, so basically, a steel BB replica would be pretty much as efficient, and exept if you were to shoot someone at point blank range in the eye with it, you would not be able to do that much dammage in theory. Then, again, I'm no ballistic Professional, hell, you can do some pretty mean injuries with airsoft replicas in some circonstances so why not. Then don't get me wrong, I LOVE this little pistol. It is a sight to be hold and a very impressive technical achievement, it's some impressive craftmanship and I would love to be able to shoot one of these, even tho that is more than unlikely considering how rare and expensive it is and how little ammunition you would most likely be able to find nowadays.
BF1 has some crippling flaws that prevents me from enjoying the game. If your being objective about it, then it's not better than any call of duty. BF5 feels like an improvement, yeah still not better than the old cods(because those are godly) but is FAR better than BF1 in my opinion!
What about the thompson with the drum mag? Or the singleplayer weapons? Or the magazine animations for certain stripper-clip loaded weapons, such as the Gewehr 43? Or single bullet animations for weapons such as the Turner SMLE? Or the MMG barrel change animations? Or the drum mag for the MG-34? Or the stripper clip reloads for the sniper rifles?
Fuze_That_ Blyat There are literally pictures of British soldiers with the drum mag on their M1928s. The drums were used at the start of the war, but were ditched as the war went on. When the M1 Thompson arrived the completely removed the “lips” on the magazine well, but any Thompson before that could accept drums and they were fielded.
TheFail It'd be extra unneeded animation work for DICE and all, but if that's the case, since the MP28 is a German gun and they were taught to hold it in that weird unorthodox fashion it would be really cool if in the case you had it as one of the allies you wouldn't hold it that way (maybe you'd hold it overhanded to the mag or use the handguard) since a British or American soldier that didn't train with the gun wouldn't think to hold it in the strange fashion that's used otherwise (sorry if that all sounded incohesive, what I'm trying to say is kind of hard to explain XD)
@@user-pk7ii1cn1z it would be a cool detail but is EA you known but one things that's really killing is that the germans paratroopers go in a C47 and its full of British soldiers, I meant the germans has the Junkers and their soldiers I don't Know why recycle that
TheFail I recently played a Grand Op on BF5 and noticed that myself. I was really confused at first XD It's all likely to be ironed out down the road though, and even in its current state I'm enjoying BF5 so far.
@@user-pk7ii1cn1z yes yes is a really good Battlefield and I have played all of them and in my opinion is not as bad as some people say (except the women screaming at the battlefields but still been a good game) and sorry for my English is not my mother tongue xd
(U.S.A.) No M1 Garand No Springfield 1903/Enfield 1917 No Grease Gun No M1A1 Thompson and no 30 round magazines for the M1928 that was shown. No B.A.R. (Soviet Union) No Mosin-Nagant Actually there isn't a single soviet weapon in this game.... wtf? (Great Britain) No .38/200 Revolver No P14 Rifle That's basically it Edit: I didn't realize there's gonna be expansions. L0L
@Arben Gilaj It's your opinion so I won't argue but I just noticed that the textures are not nearly as polished as BF1's. Also, there isn't reverb on any of the gun sounds, all of the weapons sound the same and some animations are just dumb.
The way they hold the mp28 is impractical. That can harm the welders wrist as well as holding the mag like a grip can lead to more frequent jamming in the gun
@MP28 Gripping the magazine is not a good idea as it can cause the weapon to jam. @Gewehr 43 Gewehr 43s were loaded with magazines not strip clips only Gewehr 41s are able to do that.
I feel you’re mistaken. Your in-game character holds the MP28 from the magazine WELL, not the magazine itself. It would be pretty common knowledge for anyone who’s ever used a gun to not squeeze and hold the magazine. Also, most games like to inaccurately depict the Gewehr 43. This is WW2 we’re talking about. Stripper clips were still widely used. They were cheaper and easier to make than full-on magazines, so people would just use clips to reload the G43 more often than a full magazine. The Lee-Enfield works the same way. The magazine is actually detachable, but for the sake of saving metal and time, the guns were reloaded with stripper clips. Unless you absolutely needed to reload all 10 rounds at once. P.S There’s an accurate upgrade to the G43 where you use magazines instead of clips, so there you go.
We know that hearing the shell casing hit the ground makes the game sound more realistic, however, coming from someone who’s grown up around guns, I promise you that you aren’t going to hear the casing hit the ground, especially while using an smg/lmg/ar
wtf. Some of these guns are from BF1. The sebslader didd'nt even join the german army in ww1 due to the problems it had. The m1907 sf did very little in WW1, let alone ww2. The model 8 didd'nt even went into service. They were just on rushed time so they can get this game in play. They should at LEAST payed more time on doing the game and doing some historical accuracy, like they're known for.
you can may think they don't do their research, but there's a thing called codice (it exist in bf1, I don't know about bfv) in which tells the history of some weapons and tatics used in ww1
Damn, looks and sounds like complete ass compared to the previous Battlefield games. Plus what are there so few weapons? Battlefield 4 shipped with around 80 guns!
@@nobod-e9692 "20 primary weapons" and how many of those were worth using? Many guns in BF4 were just statistically worse versions of other guns in the class, almost every one of the shotguns and DMR's felt the same, the SMG's and PDW's felt similar
I don't think there'll ever be a time where the new cod or battlefield will be praised, but anybody and everybody can agree that they did their best to have authentic actions, order of operations, and did their best to not recycle animations. As for realism, guns of this era jammed a lot, would break, become full of mud, and would have inconsistent forested at times. You can not possibly consistently reload an M1A1 Carbine in four seconds in the heat of frontline combat. Fantastical liberties have to be taken to make the fluidity of Battlefield combat still fun. Guns also don't just kind differently because they're different guns. When listening to recordings, sometimes even different calibers sound the same. There will probably never come a time where you can exactly reproduce a gunshot sound because sound systems cannot create shockwaves or pressure, which firearms make a lot of. Stop ragging on it because it's new. People worked hard on it, and they did research. Not every detail has to or can be acknowledged for the sake of catering to the nitpicky society we've grown to live in. Don't @ me
so my two favourite ww2 rifles aren't even in this game... no garand or russian mosin. Not to mention all the guns sound alike and the animations look straight outta tf2
Notice how this game has distinguished audio cues when firing most weapons, telling you when ammo is running low in the magazine 😌 (you can really tell with the loud PING when chambering the last round in the Gewehr M95/30 😉)
Hey man great video, but could you do the reloads for the specializations? A couple examples are the G-43s detachable magazine specialization and the MG-34 drum specialization along with a lot of guns in the game that have specializations that change the reload animations. I would really appreciate it if you did that.
I'm working on unlocking all custom mags. I will make a video for these reloads but i need some time to earn more credits. I lost most of my credits in very stupid way...
WOAH! A ww2 game that actually has The M1 carbine? Hell yeah! Finally! Also, if they add the M1 garand, ir should reload like this: if you don't colpletely empty it, the character will pull back on the bone handle, raising the En block clip out out the gun slightly, load more rounds into it, then put his thumb across it horizontally, with his hand supporting the bolt, push it down, and move his thumb and hand, which will send the bolt forward, and you're ready to fire. Fix the luger aim down sights thumb issue(you'll see what I mean).
@@michaelger3164 Cool! Sounds like a really good game. Also, have you ever heard of a really cool ww2 game called day of infamy? It is only 20 bucks! Bf5 looks like a game i will consider purchasing in the future.
Hizkia Pangkey Actually in Modern Warfare if you have the sniper scope equipped the Kar requires round-by-round reloads. You can only use the stripper if the ejection port isn’t obscured by an optic.
I adore how realistic is the recoil. Especially on the 450-500RPM SMGs in 9x19.. LOL- the things want to climb like a damn MG in .308! If grandma can dual-wield MP-40s - those young gents on the front should be able to push it back on target during a long burst?
Honestly I'm shocked by the amount of people that dont notice or appreciate the fact that this games animation, graphics and how the sounds emit and echo is developed so good. Also especially Environmental and structural damage is done very well. Thanks Dice
You forgot the overheating animations for the MMGs, the alternate reloads for some rifles that you can equip, and the stripper clip reloads for scout rifles without an optic
Well, that is utterly saddening. There are two major problems here, and even if one was to be expected, it still manages to show some pretty substancial laziness. Let me explain... -First, the number of weapons available is pretty darn pathetic for a Battlefield game. Yeah, I know that they will put a shit ton more in DLCs and that is how they finish their games now but come on, older Battlefield games had a shit ton more weapons at launch that this one. Hell, Battlefield 1 had a lot more weapons at launch in the base game and that was 2 years ago. You just have to look at the handguns : 5 pistols and 1 revolver (not counting the joke weapon), I mean wow, how many did Battlefield 1 had again? Oh yeah, 12 pistols and 4 revolvers at launch. I know that the important part is that everything feels different to use and balanced and all, but we all know it's just to fill DLCs up. The more depressing is definitly the shotgun category. I hope you don't like playing with shotgun because holy cow, there is a whoping...two of them. Like, BF1 already had like 4 but I mean, 2? Really? And guess what : one of them is reused from BF1. -And that's the second problem, I sure as muck knew that they would not care about historical authencity, and I mean, fine I guess at this point but man, it's a shitshow. They didn't just took liberties and put every prototype bullshit weapon you could fine, no, they did not even took that much of them, no, instead, they just copy and paste BF1 prototype weapons and called it a day. There are already not a shit ton of weapons, and a great number of them are just lazy copy and paste from the last game. Also...where are 90% of the iconic weaponry you would think they would have added before everything else? Like I don't know, the M1 Garand? The PPSH41? The Nagant Revolver? The Trench Gun? The Mosin Nagant? etc etc. And don't even tell me it was to have more original weapons, because half of what is here from BF1, and the other half (exept a few exeption) is generic stuff. You want to make us play with more obscure WW2 weapon? Then give us french, italian, spanish weapons etc.
Aby Nighteater Uh... the # of guns argument falls a bit to pieces when you realize how similar guns were to each other in BF1. Like for instance the 4 pistols that shot really fast we’re all reskins of each other... Secondly, are you implying they did absolutely nothing else to the guns? What about visual customization? Fun upgrading? Gun balancing? Does that not exist either? Also, just one of the shotguns is a reused asset. The M30 is an original and quite unique gun. Also, you wouldn’t see an M1 Garand in this game because the game’s multiplayer timeline isn’t after D-Day... People have already broken the game files and found plenty of ORIGINAL and unique weapons. DICE is probably doing this intentionally so the game doesn’t run out of content the moment people reach max rank...
@@DLBBALL Yeah sure, that's a fact, a few pistols were just carbon copies of each others, just being scattered throughout different classes. But well, at least they bothered to modelled different weapons for the sake of variety. For your second point, yeah, I know all that jazz. But going ahead and say that they can get away with having an extremely poor variety of weapons where a lot are just copied and pasted from the previous game (in terms of models obviously, I never implied that they did not played differently) because you have some customisation just doesn't work. Why? Well, previous entries had a shit ton of customisation too, and still had a lot of weapons, like Battlefield 4 for instance. You're actually right for the M30 Drilling, I had the one in COD: WW2 in mind, thanks for the reminder. Well two things. -One, considering how this game, like its predecessor, has a pretty lackluster degree of historical authencity, even tho it tries to do as if it was not the case, so honestly, talking about any kind of timeline is kinda out of the table... -Also, there were M1 Garand used on the frontlines of WW2 before D-Day. A lot of them were sent by the USA through le Lend-lease policy between 1941 and 1945. I'm sorry mate, like really, but I think you are well to optimistic here. We're dealing with a publisher that really doesn't give a shit about its player base, and I'm sure the lack of weapons is most likely due to a way to monetized the shit out of the game in the future. But I hope I'm wrong. Then, that doesn't mean that the game itself isn't good, I had fun playing it a few hours and it's a solid Battlefield game, I was just expecting more.
Live red 7 I’m not to sure about the m1a1 but before the sten (and actually why they made the sten, Thompson’s were expensive) Britain did buy Thompson’s from the US typically the older models which why this is an m1928 pattern and not an M1 pattern
Well I have to disagree with you little boy the M1 Garand was a good weapon but the German Kar98k was also a good weapon very reliable so was the M1 but I think the Kar98k was just a bit better
The animations look amazing, lots of detail like the blank rounds with the grenade launcher rifle, though the sounds are kinda awful at the moment and some other things: The way the character holds the mag of the MP28 is unnatural and tiring. The SMLE Turner semi auto conversion was a prototype for the canadian army, which didn't see any service. Although the Steyr-Hahn M1912 seems like an out of place gun it makes some sense, some german police departments used rechambered M1912s in 9x19mm as their service pistols, but those didn't see military service. I have no idea why the M1916 Selbstlader is here, it didn't work particularly well as an infantry rifle in WWI so they used it on zeppelins, but that's were its service ended. The Krag-Jørgensen is a great addition but out of place. It was the first modern rifle of the US Army and it served well untill it was replaced by the Springfield M1903, I'm not aware if it was still in service by some country in WWII or before, but I doubt it. The Swiss KE7 is an oddball which really has no place in game historically, the swiss weren't involved and the gun wasn't well suited for service. The game still lacks a ton of guns and some fixing here and there but it's promising.
- You can also hold the MP28 by the handguard. - Why need that abomination in the first place? - The M1912 did see service by the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS after they annexed Austria in 1938. Same went for the MP 34 and the M95/30. - It pretty much looked like an infantry rifle in BF1, but it doesn't fit BFV in any way. - The Krag-Jørgensen you see here is a Norwegian production rifle. Also used by Germany after the occupation. - If you didn't know, KE-7 was used by Republic of China.
@@Oppen1945 Japan was not working with Germany because that's not what their alliance entailed. The tripartite pact was a defensive/anti comintern pact. Germany declaring war on half the world did not mean that Japan had to and vice versa. Besides Japan was useful. Who's torpedos do you think Germany was using for example?
I really hate how DICE just reused several animations from BF1. Not just that, they reintroduced several weapons from BF1 that were PROTOTYPES in BF1, which meant that they couldn't even exist in WW2! I'd say this has got to be the worst Battlefield game that I have ever seen! Otherwise, good job Mar, or WEAPONS FROM GAMES!
If you are a developer, you will learn that you should reuse anything that is good before Making something entirely new isn't the best option, cuz you have to optimize it, longer to work, costly
The way the MP28 is held makes me wanna take a bath with my toaster. What's even worse is that some people are saying that's realistic and that pisses me off even more Edit: Y'all taking me too seriously.
The reason they are saying it's realistic is because of this video right here: ruclips.net/video/7Z7O8SZhdgw/видео.html For photographic proof, here's a website with a pic: www.breachbangclear.com/weapon-trivia-wednesday-the-mp18/ The problem with this assumption is that this is the way the MP 18 was held, not the MP 28. So far, I haven't actually been able to find any pictures from WWII with the MP28 in it, so the way this game portrays it could be entirely wrong. Who knows? There are even weirder things that happened that are far stupider than holding a submachine gun awkwardly
Yes. That was also how you were supposed to hold the sten. Forgotten weapons did a video on an integrally suppressed sten and he said that was how you're supposed to hold it.
I mean, only like 2 of the weapons have no record of being using in WWII, the Mauser M1916 and the Model 8 rifle, so out of like 22 primaries only 2 were never used in WWII
@@nobod-e9692 So do you expect DICE to have every gun used in WWII at launch? Then what'll be for DLC? Out of now 23 primaries, only 1 is 100% confirmed to have never saw any sort of fighting, combat or use in WWII
@@Timkikusu They already have plenty of iconic weapons to fill the current weapon roles right now, the primary guns of certain factions will come when the faction comes, it would be weird having the M1 Garand or Mosin Nagant without the Americans or Soviets even being present in the game
Pretty good video.my only main concern(maybe this is nitpicking) about this game is the way the character handles the gun.when ever there is a reload, the character throws it around like it has no weight to it,almost like the guns are made with balsa wood.they don't seem to have weight to them.maybe it's just me but it can definitely throw me off when I play this game.
Love the video I wish Battlefield 5 included an American, Russian, Australian and Japanese war story so we would have more of a variety of weapons such as the M1 Garand, Arisaka, PPSH 41 or the Mosin Nagant Then that would make the game slightly better
Live Red7 - I don’t get all these comments. They complain about sound and how the guns look but that’s truly how it was. The guns sound similar because many use the same caliber
@@livered7813 lmao I'll give you that one, but I'm saying that because some of the weapons I just don't get like the Lee Enfield, and the MP28. And the fact that this is a ww2 game and there is no M1 garand is just really weird to me.
I love how virtually none of the guns in BF now actually have realistically usable sights. I wouldn't even be surprised if they just didn't model any rear sights next time.

Or the stripper clip reloads for the sniper rifles?
D:
Thompson with drum was never used in ww2, as it was too heavy.

Damn, holding that MP28 must hurt
But in real life they teach the soldiers to hold the gun like this, I though the same the first time I saw it but at the end is realistic
TheFail
It'd be extra unneeded animation work for DICE and all, but if that's the case, since the MP28 is a German gun and they were taught to hold it in that weird unorthodox fashion it would be really cool if in the case you had it as one of the allies you wouldn't hold it that way (maybe you'd hold it overhanded to the mag or use the handguard) since a British or American soldier that didn't train with the gun wouldn't think to hold it in the strange fashion that's used otherwise (sorry if that all sounded incohesive, what I'm trying to say is kind of hard to explain XD)

@MP28
Gripping the magazine is not a good idea as it can cause the weapon to jam.
@Gewehr 43
Gewehr 43s were loaded with magazines not strip clips only Gewehr 41s are able to do that.
Hmm, So i was right with the G41 and G43.
That was the historically accurate way to hold the Mp 28
Gewehr 43s didn't have much spare mags, so those who owned them used stripper clips. It also prevented to much hastel.
Which is why he isn't gripping the magazine. He's gripping the magwell.
This was the correct way to hold it.
We know that hearing the shell casing hit the ground makes the game sound more realistic, however, coming from someone who’s grown up around guns, I promise you that you aren’t going to hear the casing hit the ground, especially while using an smg/lmg/ar

This game is almost like a timeline, right now the later guns weren't in use or not invented, they will add guns as their dlc timeline goes on.
Bf4 was bloated
EatDatShopLifter445 Then why is the Stg-44 in the game when that was a late war weapon?

More videos including intresting animations coming soon!

I’m not to sure about the m1a1 but before the sten (and actually why they made the sten, Thompson’s were expensive) Britain did buy Thompson’s from the US typically the older models which why this is an m1928 pattern and not an M1 pattern
Well I have to disagree with you little boy the M1 Garand was a good weapon but the German Kar98k was also a good weapon very reliable so was the M1 but I think the Kar98k was just a bit better
The animations look amazing, lots of detail like the blank rounds with the grenade launcher rifle, though the sounds are kinda awful at the moment and some other things:
The way the character holds the mag of the MP28 is unnatural and tiring.

For photographic proof, here's a website with a pic:
www.breachbangclear.com/weapon-trivia-wednesday-the-mp18/
The problem with this assumption is that this is the way the MP 18 was held, not the MP 28. So far, I haven't actually been able to find any pictures from WWII with the MP28 in it, so the way this game portrays it could be entirely wrong. Who knows? There are even weirder things that happened that are far stupider than holding a submachine gun awkwardly

That's how actual soldiers held it. The guns in general had bad ergonomics so they just said "fuck it" and held it by the mag well.

How is it supposed to be? WW games with M16s? Lmao. Both games actually and would normally have some same guns.
Both games are from "Old Guns" age setting
Hopefully you continue this as the tides of war free DLC keeps going
All of the SMG's and Pistols sound like the exact same audio clip with some minor doctoring on the treble and bass.
Well, in real life sounds of guns are similar to each other
Because they are shooting same 9mm btch...
notice how on the m30 drilling, the sight pops up when he switches to the riffle bullet, that's some detail
Lol no m1 garand? No BAR? No .30 cal? Springfield? I just don’t get it. This game is so dumb
Nicholas Marinich Type 38 arisaka, mp18, ptrs, grease gun, and more
They want your money for that dlc lmao
Dlc are free Lmao
Jonathan Murray Imagine being so blinded by hate that you don’t realize the DLC is free
CoDmaster 7000 isn’t this a world war 2 game?
Pretty good video.my only main concern(maybe this is nitpicking) about this game is the way the character handles the gun.when ever there is a reload, the character throws it around like it has no weight to it,almost like the guns are made with balsa wood.they don't seem to have weight to them.maybe it's just me but it can definitely throw me off when I play this game.
7:42 wait, is this Bad company 2 or what?? WTF is that
Lmao
Bfbc2 is really good
@@raff_ell5519 I meaned that the reload animation looks like BF2, he doesn't pull the bolt
Yeah i know
@Eli Nelson Wow
Love the video
I wish Battlefield 5 included an American, Russian, Australian and Japanese war story so we would have more of a variety of weapons such as the M1 Garand, Arisaka, PPSH 41 or the Mosin Nagant
Then that would make the game slightly better
More factions will be added as free DLC
@@Mr.HeisenbergTheCook
Awesome :)
No barrel change animations? Disappointed.
The MG42 HAS a barrel change animation. You need to overheat the gun and the character will change it. It wasn’t shown here.
@@Lucien_Crow I know that it does, but I don't see it covered in this video.
This game is so beautiful defiantly will get it!
The weapons in this game are more depressing than BO4
Why, because they are real?
Live Red7 - I don’t get all these comments. They complain about sound and how the guns look but that’s truly how it was. The guns sound similar because many use the same caliber
mrisekc please explain my good sir
@@livered7813 lmao I'll give you that one, but I'm saying that because some of the weapons I just don't get like the Lee Enfield, and the MP28. And the fact that this is a ww2 game and there is no M1 garand is just really weird to me.
7:15 to reload the shotgun, ur hand must be like this 👌
No m1 garand or ppsh wtf?
DLCs
No nagant either so yeah that kinda sucks
Nick Lawson Russia has entered the war by 1941...
@@zenbeats9497 Russia is not on the game yet
I love how virtually none of the guns in BF now actually have realistically usable sights. I wouldn't even be surprised if they just didn't model any rear sights next time.

I am so dissapointes in DICE for the lack of variety
I never thought I'd see the day when battlefield has worse sound design than cod and its SOOOOO repetitive!
"Worse sound design" don't understand that one when COD uses computer generated sounds and battlefield used actual recordings of the weapons
@@demanischaffer Sounds still shit though
@@nynchliggers7160 Explain what is bad about the sound design? They used real guns, and the guns sound different depending on where you're standing
@@demanischaffer Older Cods did too and it sounded way better then this shit. Waw is a better world war 2 game than this piece of shit
@@Takemura77 Explain how the real gun sounds are "bad"
Explain why WAW is a "better" world war 2 game
I'd really like to have next Battlefield take place in Vietnam War. This period is great for war games, it's not so modern and futuristic but at the same time not that old.
