lol Once the GMC regulates Physician Associates, if they were able to move to the States, I think they would as the pay in the States is way more than in the UK
@@ThePushUKLifestyle you right PA in America 🇺🇸 can make up to 130,000$ a year Depends what specialty you're in. I don't know how to convert that into pounds. But figure it out if you're from England.
We have Physician assistant in America 🇺🇸, they can prescribe medication they can order any test x-ray CT snd EKG. PA are a member of the health care team.
PAs, ANPs etc in the US make 5.7x more inappropriate CT/XR/MRI requests than US physicians do, driving up costs. This will happen in the UK as well, even more so since UK PAs get a fraction of the training PAs get in the states. They outearn doctors so much so that a London doctor would have to work for 19 years to outearn a London PA. PAs in the UK are a waste of taxpayer's money!
@@colephelps7816haha! You’re so off lol! Where did you get your figures that it’ll take 19 years for a doctor to earn a PA’s wage in the London area? Lool
Hello Abhinav, I hope you are doing well. We have been following your UK videos and find the information you share very helpful. My wife has completed her MBBS and has three years of work experience. We are planning to move to the UK through the PLAB route for her MD. We want to know if she will be able to sponsor a dependent visa for me and our kid. If I am not mistaken, my wife will be applying for a healthcare work visa. Can we move as a family to the UK through this visa? Or is there any restriction to the sponsor visa? Kindly let me know
No such restriction for doctors. Ideally let her come first and settle in the UK for a month or two, start in any accommodation, single room shared flat, etc and then find a bigger flat that can house the full family. Then come as dependants.
Your accent shows tht you are not trained in the UK so I don’t think you are entitled to make comments about the PA role. Physician Associates are trained in the UK and they all have previous clinical experience
Thank you for your video. I like the fact that you gave a good, balanced analysis of the issues.
Great video doc. Thanks
Thanks for this information. Very informative.

@@drAbhinavKr thank you very much for your reply, we will plan accordingly
Doctors trained abroad who are coming to the UK are a threat to training posts for junior doctors, not the PAs

How does someone’s accent “show” where they are trained? Stop being prejudicial.
