- HAPPY SUNNY SUNDAY! I know this isn't a thrift with me, but I figured it may be fun to take a look back at my fashion choices from the past 10 years and all have a good laugh! Plus I want to share how I became more confident in myself and with my style now.👇🏼 Click down below for more 👇🏼

COMMON QUESTIONS:
Why are you so orange? I do not fake tan, it's the filters on my camera and they can sometimes turn me warmer than I am depending on the light, although I am quite tan naturally in person (I'm Italian)
Do you bleach your own hair? HECK NO, my hair dresser does it all 😅
How old are you (were you born in '83)? I was born august 3rd 1994 (currently 24), the "83" in alexasunshine83 is for 08/03-83! Basically alexasunshine was taken 😬

Me too😂 I wore bermuda shorts with knee high socks which were striped or something (primary school)and a little later shorts with tights and different colored shoelaces (middle school). After freshmen year of highschool it got better stylewise. Now that i am in college i still don't have a particular style but i am starting to get there. Watching these thrifting videos really inspires me😊

Omg the scene hair!! I think it ruined my life, I still tease it now... how many years later? Not in that particular style but I hate the way it looks without teasing it, all flat and glued to my skull 😂😂😂
Tbh, blonde is definitely your color but you looked really cute with darker hair and fantasy colors! You can pull anything off!

Since watching you I've started wearing jeans instead of leggings every day, (I wasnt wearing jeans for like the past 5 years) started wearing belts and more layers and I feel alot more "fashionable" now. Like I have my own style and of course I always go through phases and my style changes alot, but I am excited to be wearing real pants again 😂 I love denim now 🖤
And a few years ago I was super into statement necklaces too! Lol I was wearing a different giant necklace every day, but my tops I was wearing I would NEVER wear now. Like blousy type tops, flowy, with patterns.
I was a 90s grunge kinds girl for a few years, and then I watched Mamma Mia 2 and my life changed forever. Now young Donna from the movie and Tasha Leelyn on youtube are my biggest fashion icons. I dress 70s, graphic shirts, long skirts, flowy dresses, cowboy boots, wide brimmed hats are everything im going for. Im still searching for a few more wardrobe staples but ive pretty much finallt figured out who im supposed to be and what makes me happy style-wise.

It's amazing how style develops more with confidence and understanding yourself. I used to dress how everyone else to blend in, now I dress to stand out and for myself, and I haven't been happier! Love your videos, can't wait for the next upload ❤

I've always been scared of trying new things. In high school the grudge style was coming back & I remember going to school w/ an inspired Pinterest outfit. Well I was getting compliments & 1 girl made me feel insecure calling me gross so I never tried again 🙃 so I just always stuck to T-shirts, jeans & converse

The most interesting thing about this is that a lot of these looks are very timely and you don't actually look bad, but there was so much insecurity behind them that they feel bad? I totally had a scene kid phase that was a bit about dressing more like the crowd I already hung with, but was mainly just another avenue for creative expression (lots of colour, making jewelry from safety pins & voodoo doll, ect.) and my own comfort. I think once you're at that place, you can look back on what you wore fondly, even if you were doing a lot, and thrifting is a good way into it, because it forces you to get creative.
I do like where fashion is now though, where there's a lot happening at once, so doing your own thing is a little bit easier.
I used to think I was a fashion icon, but looking back at old pictures I was obviously wrong😂
The first half of this video made me a little sad. I think you have always looked pretty and all haircolors suit you so well! I'm really glad you've found your style 😊
A few random comments. Your natural hair color is gorgeous. You look just as pretty without makeup as with it. Finally, I am glad that I came of age before the whole social media scene. We don't have hundreds of pictures of our style from 15 years ago, which, for many of us, is a good thing.
It makes me so sad that being a scene girl and trying to obtain that hair effected other people as negatively as it did me. My heart feels you!

this is so funny bc thinking back to 2013/14 I didn't realize how different the style is now. In my head its like only liek 2/3 years ago but then you see pictures and really think its like Wow haha
love this idea because I honestly used to dress so different before thrifting and you’ve helped me step out of my comfort zone when it comes to thrifting different styles!

I thrift too I gravitate towards what a rockstar would wear at their concerts. I don’t know why? I always ask my husband who do I think I am?👩🏼🎤
You look amazing in all your hairstyles, but the short hair somehow ties every single one of your outfits together, it's very chic! Also, the bob length suits your face because it brings out your pretty features. So crazy to hear that someone looking like you has been insecure about their looks. It's a good reminder - we never know what someone else is going through just by looking at them.

You're so brave for sharing this! Haha I guard my emo photos with my life haha. If it wasn't black or a band tee I wouldn't wear it. Plus tons of eyeliner and red eyeshadow. Funny thing is no matter how much I try to leave that in the past I'll always be that emo kid at heart lmao😂 still listen to all the same music and all.

I love to thrift. I used never thift till l move to London Ontario Canada.
I mean, my most stylish outfit from when I was 11 was a stunning combination of a pink hoodie with rollerskates on it, green hello kitty leggings and light up skechers. It made some... _interesting_ choices back then.

I think that most of us go through style evolutions throughout our lives due to at-the-moment-styles/trends, aging/maturing, body shape/size, confidence in oneself. Eve at my age, I have no set style simply because I like so many different types of fashion. I do lean more toward boho (was quite the little hippie in the early 1970s) and I still prefer long skirts, print mixing, colors, flowers, crochet...but I also love classic, sophisticated, monochromatic, lux. And the whole cottagecore look and menswear ala Annie Hall. I change my "style" by the day, so thrifting has always been a part of my life. This was a fun video! Personally I think you have great style.

I dont have a style. But I gravitated to late 60s/70s dark academia cottagecore?? I dunno but I've been looking at 70s fashion and it has alot of cottagecore elements to it along with 60s pinafores. Does anyone else gravitate to that or just me

A few years ago, I totally would have copied your looks, but now I understand my own style better and can appreciate our differences without thinking "I must find some high-wasted mom jeans!" Thanks for this video. Thrifting and RUclips helped me figure my style too. I’ve learned through my self discovery that just because you enjoy a particular style on others doesn’t make it yours. If I could describe my style now, I would say that I am a hybrid of the Everlane and Ralph Lauren girl. I enjoy high quality fabrics with a timeless look. Years from now, I think I will still enjoy my pieces.

The thing is I didn't style myself my mom did and I'm 13 almost 14 so my mom really wanted me to be a girly girl so she put me into dance (I'm still in) but now I'm soooooo tomboy that my brother looks more feminine than me lol
