I haven't got to this part yet, but this is why I want phallo rather than meto if it comes to it. I don't really want arm grafts though, hoping I can get thigh graft if I have lost weight by then.
I don't want phallo for the reason that you won't have any sensation (I think) and you can't become erect. They're basically sticking a dick on that you can pee out of. I'd rather feeling and function over size, personally.
Sensation loss is hit n miss. You can get erectile function but it's like a pump (means you can keep it up though!). I feel like I would be more dysphoric over the meto results than just keeping my actual parts. It's a shame there's not a better option out there :(
I just found your channel and your positive attitude through all this has been great. I'm a middle aged mom with a 15 and 12 yr old. My older son has friends in the LGBTQ community and there are a few on his fencing team as well. I find myself wanting to learn more about how to talk with them, like using the right pronouns etc, and not letting my lack of knowledge make me feel awkward. I'm learning but still have questions. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your experience.
"Look at how normally I can sit!" You're adorable, and your bravery and positivity are so wonderful to witness. Thank you for sharing this journey with all of us. Your videos are helping so many people.
I really love how positive you've been in your lower surgery videos. Considering you've had every right to be negative it is refreshing to always hear you remind yourself of the positives because negativity can get so toxic if you dwell on it. It makes it a lot easier to be happy for you. Also what is 'Burn's Night"? lol
Totally agree! I was coming here to say that I love 1) seeing that he keeps the goal in mind because that's what it's about, "why did you do this & what's the ultimate outcome," 2) that he's showing others curious about taking the next step what to *realistically* expect could happen and 3) it's so satisfying to watch a tiring post-op recovery in hyperspeed haha
REALLY appreciate how you've documented this. The day-by-day vlogging has made this so much more relatable, and I'm so excited for you in your recovery. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
Never stop taking your antibiotics before you've finished the whole prescription! It can contribute to antibiotic resistance in bacteria which is very bad! D:
You make the idea of transition so much less scary. Even when things go wrong and you're frustrated and in pain, you're focused on healing and delighted by progress. And I liked that your first video included moments where you were like, "why did i put myself in this situation?" That thought is exactly what I'm afraid of, so seeing you weather the storm, and seeing how you glowed in the happy moments... it was really encouraging. You and Shaaba are so beautiful, and I'm grateful to you both for sharing these personal moments.
8:48 Omfg you're adorable 😂😂 In all seriousness, I'm really fucking happy for you. The idea of any kind of surgery scares the shit out of me, so to see you really happy makes me happy and it also gives me a bit of courage, too. You seem very happy and I'm glad.
I want to thank you for this channel. I am a 38 yr. Straight women that has a niece that I love who has come out Trans. I am trying to learn everything I can so that I can be there for her. I worry not bc she is Trans but bc of the way people treat the LGBTQ community. I am going to introduce her to your wonderful channel bc I truly think your videos can help her as she finds her way through life. Thank you for helping people like me and my niece.
You cannot be serious! That a person has life threatening surgery, is taking up hospital beds and other resources because of their delusions and narcissistic entitled whims when there are people around the world dying because they cannot afford life saving surgery is ridiculous! And you want to enable your niece (whom you say you love), to allow someone to butcher and mutilate her?
Thank you for taking the time to document your surgery journey. I'm currently 5 days post op stage 1 meta. I'm having the urethral lengthening, so a little bit different from what you have had. The difficulty is that there is so little information out there about what to expect after the surgery regarding recovery and pain. Every little thing my wife and I have been panicking about. It has been so reassuring to watch you videos and see the ups and downs, and where you are now. I'm binge watching your videos as a comfort when I am feeling low to remind myself that this pain and discomfort is temporary and that it will all be worth it once it is healed up. Thank you to you and your amazing wife for taking the time to share this, and please know how much it is appreciated.
Hey I've been following your videos for quite a while (and never commented for some reason) and I think you're a lovely, lovely person and I wish you all the best both for your surgery recovery and for life in general 💜
I love your mindset about the catheter :) the, “I can wait till monday cause in a few months none of this will matter”. Its a great mindset to have and its how I’m staying positive about being stuck at home with unaccepting parents for another year :) in 2-3 years im going to have my top surgery and then can live happily for the next 80 :)
I know it's been HALF A DECADE, but thank you for inviting us to join you on this journey. I found myself cheering you on and empathized with you on the rough spots. Can't wait until your book arrives so I can read your account and experiences. Give Shaaba a big hug from me for being such a champion of love and support. You're wonderful. And funny. And educational. I appreciate you.
Jaime and Shabaa you are so lovely. Thank you for sharing your journey. As a retired nurse, I appreciate your willingness to share. I know that this will be so helpful for others who are taking this track. Your positive attitude is so healing!
you and shaaba are so nice to watch, you guys are so positive and shes so supportive of you. this vid just brings tears to my eyes, and honestly gives me hope
Boredom is a good stage of recovery it means you’re feeling better, not taking codeine anymore will also make you less tired. My boyfriend had surgery on his bum a few years ago and I had to put his socks and shoes on him
Oh my god your bagel made me real hungry haha. Two days post-op from acl reconstruction and your post-op story, while entirely different, makes me feel a little less alone.
Aw, I love how positive you are about it all even though you've been in pain. You're really brave for going through that and Shaaba is amazing for sticking by you through it all. You two are adorable. I also love watching your videos because they're so informative and easy to watch. And as a CiS person, it makes it so easy to understand what you've gone through. Keep up the awesome videos
Jamie I just love how positive you are during all of this! Makes it so much easier to think about my own surgeries one day. You've faced some real mountains, but you've managed to climb them by staying positive and just taking, quite literally, small steps! Thanks for sharing this and being honest, congrats on the surgery and I hope the rest of you recovery goes smoothly!
I teared up seeing how happy you are. I'm so glad you finally got to do this! You are so strong, and Shaaba is as well! I love you both so much. I hope there are no further complications and it gets better and better every day. You're an amazing man, and you deserve to be this happy and free.
You're so awesome. And give Shaba a thank you for taking care of BOTH OF YOU!!!! This has been an extended journey, but really does help us know that things won't always be what we expected. Bless your heart Jamie!! Been following your channel so I can see what I'm in for! I didn't even get "full" top surgery, they only did a reduction, I was SOOOOO disappointed! Just like you, one step/day at a time! It's so nice to see you happy!
I'm really happy for you Jamie! Ps: u should have ur hair back more often, so we can actually see ur pretty face... High five for shabba for being patient and caring!!
Jamie you're such a lovely person. I don't know how you managed to still have a positive attitude even when you were so uncomfortable, I truly admire that!
Hey Jamie I want to Thank You,you have help me through some times that were tough and just to watch your videos are just inspiring teaching me to be who i am
You are amazing with your courage and attitude. I can't imagine being as strong as you are, regardless of the situation. I mean, I can't even comprehend the courage and determination to do what you've done. I have never/will never have to make such an incredible decision as you have and you have done it in such fine form, and presented it to the world. What an amazing man you are!
Thanks for sharing again. I think how you doing it’s perfect for you. No one can expect more than you’ve done honestly. Think of how many people would never think of being able to record themselves going through all that kind of hell pain and recovery. But you did. So that’s amazing. Also great to see that you’re healing and continuing to heal and feeling better. And you’re right, in a few months you won’t even be thinking about what you went through, but you will have the documentation showing what you went through. Thank goodness that we are creatures that can sometimes forget the pain we have gone through in the past. Continue to send you healing vibes and healing energy. Keep up the great healing! Cheers!!!
It's so glad to see you better and better everyday,,hope you heal soon,,you and your lady are amazing person,,may happiness always surrounds you guys..👍👍😘😘
I'm definitely a fan of the way you do your videos, and I appreciate you sharing your personal journey. You just seem so honest and kind, always entertaining, and although I initially started watching mainly to learn about FTM issues, I keep watching because I just find you and Shaaba really likeable and I look forward to hearing what's going on with you guys (hopefully a lot of good things!) I'm also subscribed to Shaaba's channel and it's cool to see everything that goes on from both of your perspectives.
Hey Jamie, I love your videos, and I'm coming from the opposite direction (MtF), thanks to this video, I found out hormones have made me very squeamish! So, thanks for that... Hope you heal soon!
Ive only recently discovered your channel , these vlogs about your surgery have been amazing and im sure inspiring .Well done and looking forward to watching more .x
Shaba, kudos to you for being so supportive, so selfless, so loving helping Jamie through his challenges. I hope if I ever need “home care” I have someone as precious as you.
Your attitude is great and your recovery is superb! Watching you agonize over wanting and needing to have your outside transformed to match who you really are has been an emotional and educational journey. It has taken tremendous courage and dedication to reach the transitional place we find you today. CONGRATULATIONS!! You are a deserving and blessed man. LOVE🤝❣️
i know i'm so late to the game here ive only just found your channel unfortunately but i really love that you're comfortable enough sharing this journey with us and i find all of this extremely interesting thank you
I’m so so happy for you!! So glad you can feel this awesome about this giant change. Very inspiring and positive. Thank you for your documentation! ❤️❤️
I had no idea about the trials, tribulations, and experiences of FTM bottom surgery. I knew about MTF (due to previous RUclipsrs I watched) but never the other way around. Thank you so much for documenting your experience! I learned a lot, and wish you the best!
I don't know why I find your story so fascinating but it is. I find myself going to your older videos to see what's happening. I think you and Shaaba are both quite fortunate to be with each other. It's a very inspiring story.
Jamie, I think your videos have been been great, I'm quite scared about bottom surgery as and when I get there but it's been really good to see your emotions about it as you go along very honest and a good reminder that hard times do pass and are often worth it for the end result. Seeing your happiness as it sinks in is fabulous and very relatable to other little steps in my own transition :) thank you for everything
I'm making it a goal to watch this whole playlist, as a NB person with many ftm friends, i want to be able to understand the pain and discomfort, and everything, so j can be there and understand
I feel for you, man. The catheter is no joke! I had one for 5 months after my hysterectomy. It was the hardest thing for me to mentally prepare for before my medioplasty surgery. I'm one week post-op and going to see the doctor today. Hopefully, it's healing properly. The pills and the catheter are the worst parts. And feeling like a little boy my wife had to take care of. But any way, thank you for vloging your surgery. Being able to watch your progress and compare it to mine has really helped with my anxiety over the oozing and the swelling bit. Thanks!!😀
You were so incredibly positive, despite all that happened. I admire your strength and positive attitude throughout everything! I wish you a quick and pain-free recovery 😊 sending love to you and Shaaba💕
I'm really impressed by your attitude throughout the whole thing. If I made a video like this for my bottom surgery, I know I'd be whining and complaining for attention from whoever was taking care of me and they'd probably slap me around on camera. And I'd deserve it. Really happy for you, internet friend
I'm so happy for you! I have enjoyed it a lot, it was really nice to know your version of this surgery, that I'm sure is kinda life changing. Lots of love. ❤️
As someone who has had a catheter for nearly two years now I am glad someone recognises just how horrid they are - makes me feel less of a wuss when I complain about mine 😂 Thank you for such honesty and got sharing your journey x
Was feeling a little down, but this video pulled me right up and reminded me that there is an end goal to everything. I love how happy you are, it’s infectious :)
Hey, sorry you were feeling down - but so glad this video could help you out. I remember feeling so far away from the end in the beginning, and just feeling like there was never going to be an end and everything just felt so slow and far away. But honestly, when thing get moving, and start changing, it all gets so much easier and time goes by so fast! You'll get there :)
In general one reason I really love watching yoyr videos is because you're so smiley and positive most time and it makes me smile that you are so happy even tho everyone has their downs. Ilyyyy 😊
This was really useful to me, even the really difficult stuff, because I like to know what to expect if I ever decided to get this surgery. And expecting the hard stuff makes me feel like... if I can get through what Jamie went through, then we're good. It's helpful to prepare in a way if that makes sense.
I obviously respect a lot of guys want to be stealth but I wish more documented their experience with lower surgery for us guys on the waiting list. Big props to you Jamie!
Ray Heart When I first saw that I was like "noooooo!!!! Don't tell him that!!! Men with longer hair are sexy sexy (to me at least)!" And then I saw the rest of your comment and I'm like, Okay, good! Lol! I absolutely love love love that damn hair!!!
So, so happy for you!!! I watched the surgery vlog - you have really been through it! I've had surgery several times (not gender surgery, surgeries for endometriosis which included a hysterectomy) and any abdominal-area surgery has similar issues with mobility, so I kind of know what you've been through in terms of movement being difficult. Big hugs to you both!
Jammidodger Feeling good! Recovery is very different than you expect, and alot of surprises come up. But I couldnt be happier!!! Cant wait til we r both over this hill!
This is so amazing Jamie and I'm so glad you gave us an update :) you truly are an inspiration you and Shaaba are the most beautiful fabulous team, can't wait for the month update hopefully you keep healing well and it all goes smoothly! Lots of love to both of you
Wish you the best recovery. I'm going to have a surgery this year and it's really comforting to see a realistic video on recover. PS: the dog is so cute!
“I’m a little disappointed in the size” I laughed a lot harder than I should have done. Much love dude :) x
dominic loxley Me too. I drank somthing and it came out of my nose
I haven't got to this part yet, but this is why I want phallo rather than meto if it comes to it. I don't really want arm grafts though, hoping I can get thigh graft if I have lost weight by then.

Your hair is so floofy and majestic. I love it!

Ryan Lee Burns night is Scotland
just the whole country?
Ryan Lee nah, it celebrates this dude called Roberts Burns, he was a poet

@@adamdawson3339 Thankyou! For years I've assumed Burns night was another name for bonfire night 😄
"I'm a little disappointed by the size" y e s Jamie, you are very funny Cx
Jesus Christ you're gorgeous.. Your lady is so lucky!
Love the videos!

Haha :P
Thanks so much. Surgery terrifies me too, after I do it I legit have no idea how I managed to go through with it. It's worth it in the end :)

I love all the little clips. Cant wait for the 1 month mark. Hope things are going well and there's no more complications
So good to hear you're doing and feeling better! Yes, I like your video style.
I'm really impressed by your attitude throughout the whole thing. If I made a video like this for my bottom surgery, I know I'd be whining and complaining for attention from whoever was taking care of me and they'd probably slap me around on camera. And I'd deserve it. Really happy for you, internet friend
I'm never this early for a video. I'm so happy you're more mobile and doing more regular things :)
Found myself smiling through this. Chuffed for you Jamie, it was so great seeing you so happy!
You went through so much!...I'm so sorry.....you're so blessed to have such a loving and supportive fiancee....
It's great to see that you're doing so well now. Thank you for documenting your journey in a way I haven't seen anyone do before.
You are one of the most wonderful, positive people I've ever seen. Dude! Your'e awesome!!
It's really awesome that you've recorded all this for us, thank you for sharing TToTT
I feel so relieved to see you happy again! You're doing great, keep being yourself
I love you so much! Your story is absolutely beautiful and amazing! I'm so proud of you for being able to be you!
15:24 to 15:45 look at You..... You are so genuinely happy Jamie! U are so very brave.....stay strong n blessed.
I love you and Shaaba both so much, I'm glad to hear that you're recovering at a steady rate!!
Ilyyyy 😊
You have a wonderfully positive disposition. It's contagious!
I'm so glad you're feeling better now and I hope that the rest of your recovery process will be as good or even better than these past two weeks.
Dude you need a haircut
Just kidding I LOVE FLOWEY AND LONG HAIR
Hahaha, thanks! :P
Ray Heart
When I first saw that I was like "noooooo!!!! Don't tell him that!!! Men with longer hair are sexy sexy (to me at least)!"
And then I saw the rest of your comment and I'm like,
Okay, good!
Lol!
I absolutely love love love that damn hair!!!
I've never seen a person more happy than you right now😀😀😀 i'm proud of you... Greetings from Colombia.
You and your girlfriend are amazing. I've been following you for a few years and it's cool seeing you so happy about your transformation!! Much love
You're truly an inspiration 🤗 and you are so blessed to have such a supportive & loving partner and family ❤️❤️❤️
What a journey you've had. These are such great videos and informative. Hugs to Shaaba she's been your rock through it all. You guys are so amazing ☺
I've just loved watching your journey .... so glad you're healing well and happy 💚💚💚
Glad to see you are doing good! I hope the bruising goes away soon. Much love for you and Shaaba ❤
Hope you continue to have a good recovery
Congrats on being how you always wanted to be and being comfortable in your body you were born to be in
Your enthusiasm is adorable. I'm glad your doing well
So, so happy for you!!!
I honestly would watch you even if I wasn't struggling with my gender identity because your personality is just so amazing. I'm very happy for you.
Very happy you are doing better! We r recovery brothers! I just had my top surgery a little after your first surgery!!! Im feeling good!
