Honestly it was worth it, the army just looks absolutely amazing, the sculpting is top notch and so is the paintjob. This US army in the pacific is very unrepresented so its very nice to see that its actually possible to make. This really inspires me to do something similar for the future. Once again great just great, and you should take it to the Salt Lake Open, I dont think anybody could top this amount of effort.
Wow! Amazing work! This is exact what I was looking for months ago when I, being a new player with Bolt Action, ask the FB community about US Army in the PTO. Most everyone who answered were really positive, but there was one individual who tried to tell me that NOBODY in the Army has ever been allowed to roll their sleeves and/ or unblouse their pants! No joke! He even started on the UCMJ when I, along with several others, attempted to correct him- with video and photos from WW2! He even stepped having 6 combat tours and after that I just blew him off. I'm a Desert Storm veteran. My Wife is from the Philippines. I can tell you personally that the hot weather in the Pacific is MUCH more intense that in Southwest Asia! So, that being said, check out the 11th Airborne and the Battle for Leyte Island... just MORE conversion ideas... sorry not sorry, Tad
This is the project that inspired me to work on my Australians! It's been great seeing them come to fruition on Instagram, looking forward to seeing what you have next!
Having a Filipino wife has made me far more aware of the battles that took place across the Pacific. Especially those involved in freeing the Philippines! I'd like to try this with the 11th Airborne troops... the Pacific's Band of Brothers!
I love your conversion work! I'm building a USMC army right now and eventually want to expand it with some USN Shore Parties and CBs. This is a lot of inspiration for my project!
I spent a few years on Leyte and Samar, Philippines; now I kinda want to make a custom force based on the combatants that landed and fought on Leyte.

I have always dreamed of something like this, the dedication and results are phenomenal!
Both units I’ve served with in the U.S. Army served in the PTO and I’ve been dying to do something like this to pay homage to them in my own way.
Studio Historia has US Army STL’s now so it’s much easier to represent them!!
Of course it was worth it! Now you have an unique and amazing army! Congratulations!

The 1-148th FAR has entered the chat. Nice job. I’m slowly building 28mm artillery dioramas of American artillery from James Town through the M109A7.

@@jamestarbet9608 thank you! I love the idea of the shore party squads, that will be fun to have on the table!
@scalehistoryslc819 I've seen a couple pop up on reddit, but have been trying to piece out how to do the Navy Dungarees and the Dixie Cup Hats.
Fabulous!!! You brought them to life, outstanding work!👍👍
I understand this, I am making a French FFL Dien Bien Phu army been a great and fun project. Great stuff this is an awesome army!

Great wor! With the announcement of 3rd edition I assume the expansion mentioned at the end will be based on the new ruleset?
Yep! It is pending V3 changes, so I will focus on the history portion for the time being!
Please tell me we'll get a part two to the last kitbash video.
Absolutely! It’s in progress!
@@scalehistoryslc819 Thank God.
Also great army, you're insane though.
Have you made use of the Merril’s Marauders kit for more army boys?
i have not - everything I use for this army stems from a plastic kit haha
