oooh wait please tell me what you're knitting right now!!! and thank you so much, i'm SO excited to see my testers' versions of that one come to life!! someone's using a hot pink yarn and it's sooo good
Love the ‘ballerina on break’ (my name suggestion) wrap cardigan it’s definitely on my to knit list when it comes out. The relaxed fit makes it look nice and comfortable 😊
Have you knit a sweater from CocoKnits? You mentioned the challenges of writing a pattern with multiple decreasing and writing the pattern clearly and not too long... Cocoknits has a sheet for top-down knits that you fill in to make the simultaneous decreasing easy. I love her sweaters because they fit so well and I enjoy the knitting process.
thank you so much, this is the best compliment!! i really love to make the things i want in my own wardrobe, so it's just a really nice cherry on top when those designs resonate with other people's styles too! ❤
lovee your wrap cardigan!! currently modifying a two of wands ballerina top to be a cardigan, but it’s a raglan and i was really wanting to try a drop shoulder and for it to be more oversized. so excited to make yours and have both! as someone who also ravished the internet for wrap cardigan patterns, i’ll confirm it fills such a perfect gap in the pattern market (:
the two of wands one is so cute, i've had that pattern saved for forever! i have a fitted wrap cardigan i bought several years ago and i def get wear out of both the fitted & the oversized ones i have, i think they do serve different needs in your wardrobe!
thank you so much, so glad you're here!! and i'm honored you'd be interested!!! i always send my test calls out to my mailing list first, you can sign up here! www.starcrossedknits.com/subscribe
The attention to shaping detail in your work is fantastic. Your garments hang beautifully. I would definitely rather challenge myself in the knitting process to have a beautifully fitting product that I love to wear. Thank you for sharing your process and knowledge. I look forward to knitting one of your patterns soon.
ahh thank you, i know small(ish) needles and ribbing aren't for everyone! i think i've been drawn to smaller needle projects more lately because i'm a pretty fast knitter and it's nice to have slightly longer projects so i'm not constantly running out of things to knit hehe. plus the drape of the fabric is just soooo nice :')
eeek i went rogue and cast on a third option for it last night, a v-neck tank!!! but i decided i have the perfect yarn for a boat neck tank back at home (knit picks gloss fingering) so i still really want to make that one!!
hahah thank you!! i don't have a fancy hair care routine but i love joico conditioner (i get mine at tj maxx lol) and i usually dry my bangs with a round brush and then let the rest air dry / sometimes clip it in a low bun while drying to get a lil bounce to it because it's naturally pretty straight!
I LOVE THIS PODCAST!!! It was SO fun to knit with. Also, I cannot wait to knit up the deuxième cardigan. Such an amazing design.🤭
