Man...that Joe Diffie ......what a loss. One of a kind. So smooth. RIP.
He fit right in sitting with George and Jerry
It is so strange watching this episode knowing that everyone on it has passed on. It reminds you just how short life truly is. RIP George Jones, RIP Jerry Reed, RIP Lari White, and RIP Joe Diffie. God bless.
YEP :(
It's hard to believe they are all gone. Imagine those voices all silent, oh death why must you be, why?
Very sad, but good googlymoogly was this a treasure trove of great talent on this episode. A great tribute to be able to watch and enjoy it so much after all this time
But aren't we privileged to be able to enjoy these recordings. ❤️
The best part is watching these guys cut up having fun. You just know it would have been a blast to be a fly on the wall!
Yes rest in peace great legendary performers
There's an endless list of underrated country singers, from every era, decade, and generation... But the list gets unique when you enter the 80s and 90s, because that is when the underrated singers we found, were the one's who emanated the *traditional* sound of country music, that Mr. Jones praises in every episode of his show here. The singers who kept the faith, and held true to not only the sound, but the core meaning of what country music was, and is supposed to be. The 80s and 90s is when we saw country music change, and marketing and image and sales took over... But in my humble opinion, Mr. Joe Diffie, was a relic and golden light for country music. You could sense his passion for the genre, and his true love for the talent of the traditional country artists, and what the music was supposed to be. By far, one of the most underrated talents Nashville ever had the privilege of having. You are terribly missed, Mr. Diffie. Thank you for your talent and music. While I believe you never got the appreciation you deserved, your music was appreciated more by your fans than many modern country fans will ever understand. RIP Joe Diffie.
RIP to all on here!! Country just ain’t the same these days! Y’all will always be remembered and alive 2070 I’ll be old as shit but promise you to be blasting your music.
Jerry Reed: Mr. Tranquility. Lol he cracked me up. And Joe said if these couches get more comfortable I could just go to sleep. And Jerry said, "I'm sitting here wondering how he kept Bobby Bare awake." Lol I love this show.
It brings back very old memories!
I quite. listening to Country because most songs are sad and at a low time of my life made me very depressed!
@@margaretvanwaning9882those sad songs was what saved my life. Listening to Alan Jackson I realized that sad songs did not have to be depressing, lot of those songs I had lived through. I appreciated my life that much more. I knew that I had a lot to live for. I was not a drinker, never did drugs, had no desire too. I love the sad songs. Because of those sad songs I am a survivor.🙂 I thank Father God everyday. I saw the videos, I thank God for Alan Jackson. He came out at a time I was at my lowest. I still play the CDs. Know I'm not ready to go yet. Love, respect and positivity always. Vee j.

I love Jerry Reed wearing his Waterboy hat, proud son of Georgia, these two will be forever missed.

Love ol George, and all the old pickers...I sure do miss them all, I've no desire to go back to Nashville, last time I was in tootsies the day band wouldn't play a hag song.,, I took back my $20 and never went back.
Jerry Reed is funny as hell
I worked with Jerry Reed many times as an audio engineer. If you can get him to play and shut up your in in for real treat. He is a really nice guy though and loves to talk.
Jerry is as cool a character, never seen a man so laid back
It's so strange how the video quality in the late 60s was better than the early 00s.
To think these greats are all gone now😓 especially sad we lost both Lari and Joe so young.
Huge Jerry Reed fan. Such a good guitar picker.

Their playing in heaven
They Don,T Make Country Music Songs Like They Use To....The Great Music Artist Have Gone To Haven...Like Jerry Reed...N George Jones ..And Kitty Wells...N Chet Atkins... N Waylon Jennings... N Jimmy Dean The Sausage Maker... N Erine Tennessee Ford... N Charlie Rich...N Buck Owens...
It is a parody of Randy Travis's song "Diggin' Up Bones" Jerry did called "Tryin' Stuff On". Here is the full version ruclips.net/video/Hc7En096Mfg/видео.html
What a voice Joe Diffe had!

Yea wow! Tysm! :)
1998,, the waterboy hat is something else
All are gone now. :(
Well son fantastic
Lari white has got a beautiful dreamy voice
Jerry reed just loved to preform. It wasn't job to him he I think would have done it for free
amazing
There should be no commercials during a song.
KLUNKET--commercials man?? WTF!!
It was suggested that it added to the nostalgia- just like watching the TNN network in the late 90's. I was literally asked to leave in the commercials in other words lol, but I had to cut them in most of the vids after copyright claims.
KLUNKET I get that but still?
They asked for it, so i gave it. That was pretty much it. The nice thing is that (unlike the 1990s) you can skip the commercials in about one second if you don't like them.
Real country no one to. Fill their. Shoe Allan Willie krisjessie hold. On. Dont. Leave. Us
Holy shit, George had a tv show...I guess the 90’s were kind of cool. It’s too bad Johnny Carson was off the air by 98’, no doubt he would’ve worked this into a damn funny monologue!
Tastefully though, of course, as to not offend the greatest country singer around, then or now..
❤❤❤😊
Damn, Diffie could sang! not sing, but sang!
when they goin to put these shows on dvd or blu-ray
I Rip. Joe. Diffie
I think that the girl is still alive.
Como se llama el primer tema que canta george jones?
Ain't that the truth. He was one helluva picker ! ! !
I hate how White keeps trying to cut in.....i get it, she's trying to get her time, but ain't nobody listening to her! lol
Who Would've Thought that the Only One Still Alive Out of this Bunch is Joe Diffie?
Yeah, even Lari White has passed, she was only what..in her early 50's??
@@KLUNKET I think it was 52
And now Joe is gone 😢
How can I contact you, Klunket?
EPH2:8-9 I reckon Mr. Jones, read it an understood. All Grace, all JESUS, no human works or effort. Best offer a human ever got amen!
Jerry Reed was funny 😄, but he still is not as good as George Jones 😂.
Lari White passed way too young
