What a coincidence I chose to watch this now, as you posted it a year ago today! One of my favorite tutorials and palettes. It sparked a new love for pinkish shades. 💗
Sharalee…. You are amazing how quickly you do your face eyes brows and lips. Whoa !!! Your look is always awesome. We’ve had 3 digit temps here in San Antonio also way too hot !! Tonight the sky opened up and we finally had a lot of rain. We haven’t had any rain for months. We actually got excited ha ha Thanks for all your wonderful creations. Have a good rest of week 😍🌸🌺🌷
Oh I can imagine how wonderful that rain was!! Your triple digit temps plus the humidity would be enough to put me over the edge🤣 Thank you for your kind words as always, sweet friend💗🌸

Great look, can’t wait to try! I live in Georgia and yes it has been so hot here. I would love to meet you! Enjoy time with your brother! Have a great summer!
Thank you for the fabulous tips today! NYX mechanical brow pencil is one of my absolute favorites and stays on quite well though out the day. I also top it with some taupe brow powder or light brown/taupe eyeshadow to give it more staying power on my sparse brows during the hotter weather. Looking forward to picking up the tinted SPF and lipsticks as well. 😀💐
Great tip about topping the brow pencil with powder! It's all about the layering if you really want things to stay put!😍 Hope you love the tinted spf and lipsticks!!
Hi Sharalee, your makeup looks beautiful! I use a bare minerals product called"well rested"I think it's only made in two different colors, I think it's supposed to be like a concealer however I use it as the last product I apply when I do my makeup but it just makes your eyes pop! Anyway in case you didn't know about that product I wanted to let you know that it's great! Thanks for the great tutorials! 💞
Thank you!! Yes, I know what you mean about powder foundation! It does take practice and then sometimes I find it usually looks better after about 20-30 min when it's kind of warmed up and meshed more with the skin😘
Glad you found this helpful! One of my favorite silicone based primers it the one by BareMinerals. I'll link it for you here (affiliate link): shop-links.co/chyhbIoPFl4
I’m so happy to see you Sharalee! I have missed you so much. The look is gorgeous. If I did my face that quick I’d be a hot mess. I’ve had two cancers removed from my face , one on my neck and both legs. Most of my money is going toward bandaids, ointments, sunscreens, etc. I do want that eyeliner and powder. Thanks for the great video! I hope you shoot some footage of your visit with your brother. You’ll be close to my neck of the woods. I’m in E TN also a very humid climate. Stay safe! Much love and prayers always! Love ya! 🥰🙏
It is so good to be back filming again! Thank you for your sweet compliments🥰 I am so sorry to hear about your skin cancer! I'll be praying for your quick and full recovery 🙏❤️🩹 I will definitely take lots of pictures at my brother's...maybe a little video too, we'll see😘 Lots of love and blessings to you too!
Lovely as always sweet girl. I can relate to the California heat. After 45 years of Cally heat we traded it in for the heat and humidity of Florida. I can literally see the makeup melt and slide off my face when I'm outside. You gave great tips! Stay cool and have a great 4th of July! 😘Roberta
Every time I think about moving to Florida, I wonder if I could take the humidity....especially if it made all of my makeup just melt off my face!😆 Thank the Lord for air conditioning, right?! Happy 4th to you too!🎇🇺🇸😘
Yes I do! You want some moisture remaining but definitely don't want a "pool" of oil there😘 I use my finger to wipe off the excess and then wipe that on a tissue.
Hi Precious Sharalee….as always You Look Beautiful…You always make it look soo easy…Thank You & enjoy Your time away with Your Brother..Blessings & Love Marcia xx😘🇦🇺💥
Great video as usual. What do you think about the NYX Jumbo pencils as a eye base ? Have you tried the Clinic Bottom Line mascara, it’s a tiny tiny brush ? I think you are the queen of lipsticks, my god, you always achieve a wonderful result. You are my reference. Thank you 🙏. Kisses 😘
Awww, you are so cute🥰 The NYX Jumbo pencils never seem to set so on my super oily eyelids, they never worked, even when topped with shadow. But I do love the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara...the formula doesn't smudge on me and love that super tiny brush!💗
Great video; looks terrific. Wondering why you don't use your paint pot as eye primer, but only around lips ( I use painterly for that, thx to you too!). And how do you blend your ochre paint pot after applying without ruining foundation, etc?
Thank you!! Great questions! You are right, the MAC paint pots are primarily used on the eyes as a primer. But I have super oily eyelids so just using the paint pot alone on my eyes isn't enough. But I will occasionally pair it with another eyelid primer and then that really locks my eyeshadow in place. When going around my lips with the paint pot, I just try not to go too far below my lip lines and then just press it into to my foundation and usually that helps it blend better. Also just using a small amount helps😘
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Thx! Have your found anything to help with actually "filling" the lip lines? I've tried putty primers, the old type of NYX wonder stick that's like a stiff nude eyeliner....
@@DianeBucka Hi Diane, I have found something that works really well for me. I am 70 years old and never smoked, but used lots of straws, so have the vertical lip lines. I went to Michaels and purchased an ultra thin spotter paint brush from the art dept. I then mix equal parts Perfect Teint by M.Asam on HSN which is a creamy lie/wrinkle filler, with the M.A.C. Painterly paint pot. I slightly pull the outer edges of my lips so that the lines are flattened out, but visible. While holding the lip taut, I fill in the lines with the product. I release the lip and the line fills in over the product. I let it set on my skin for a minute or so to warm up and melt into the skin. Then I spray a Q-tip with setting spray and press into each line. Viola, it's like magic. I have been in the beauty industry for over 45 years, and have tried literally everything. This has been the best thing so far for me. Hope this might help for you as well. It may seem like alot of steps, but it goes really quickly!
@@TerryFire1000 wow over 45 years in the beauty industry!!! I would love to know whether you use waterproof mascara and if so, what is your favorite? i have short and sparse eyelashes. Thank you!
@@sandraherrera8351 Good Morning Sandra, I normally do not use waterproof mascara because it is very drying and much harder on the lashes. Also, as we age the lashes usually become dryer and more sparse, so I tend to baby them more than I did in my younger years. If you tend to be oily or your eyes tear up quite a lot, you could try waterproof, but I'd limit it to the bottom lashes and be very careful how you remove the product at night. There are so many excellent products to choose from and I don't believe you necessarily need to spend a fortune on mascara to find a good one. One of my favorites is by L'Oreal and is Voluminous SUPERSTAR. It has a primer on one end and the mascara on the other. Over the years I have tried them all, from expensive to drugstore. Also, mascaras by Lancome are always excellent and are in a mid-range in price as is Thrive Liquid Lash extensions. I also love MAC false eyelashes #33. It gives my natural lashes a break and it saves me a lot of time in the morning. I also use Revitalsh serum and it helps. Aging isn't for sissies that's for sure ! LOL Have a nice 4th of July holiday! Roberta
Skin prep is SUPER important! I scale back on using much moisturizer and instead opt for a mattifying sunscreen with skincare benefits like the one from Australian Gold or Paula's Choice. Also, pressing in your setting powder really helps. Lastly, the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Spray really helps with longevity too😍
Looks gorgeous!!! I just saw an ad for a Laura Gellar powder foundation. Have you tried that one? I’m curious how well it works. I’ve been using her loose powder and I think it’s amazing!
😂Ok, that makes me feel better...I was searching all over for a loose powder by LG and could only find one that comes with a brush for on the go touchups. LG is actually have a big sale right now so I actually ordered it and her full coverage powder foundation...I'll be sure to let you know how they work😘
Hi Sharalee! Any chance you can help with foundation color selection? I got ‘sun kissed’ on vacation and now my foundation is way too light. Do I select for what color I am now, or go for a shade or two lighter since my tan will fade in a week or so? Help! I go back in the office on the 5th. 😀
Oh yes! I deal with this all summer because I do sunless tanning😘 Two things to consider.... 1)If you usually keep a little bit of a tan throughout the summer, buy a darker shade of your foundation (shade should match your skin when you have the most color). Then you can mix it with your lighter foundation as your tan fades throughout the summer. 2)If you don't plan to keep your "sun kissed" look through the summer, it may not be worth investing in a darker shade of your regular foundation. Instead, you could mix a little bit of a less expensive foundation in a deeper shade with your normal foundation. Or, choose a more sheer tinted moisturizer like the Wet n Wild Bare Focus so it lets some of your skin show through. Adding a little extra powder bronzer (like the butter bronzer from Physicians Formula) is another way to give your face more of a sun kissed look to help match the rest of your body. Hope these tips help!😍
Love this look. BTW I have a pixie and I just purchased Enjoy wax from the retailer you had on you channel. I like it but it feels like it’s hard to shampoo out. Any suggestions? Do I need to always use a clarifying shampoo, my hair is on the dry side already?
You shouldn't need to use a clarifying shampoo more than once a week. Try using just a little less of the Enjoy Dry Wax and then when you shampoo, really work it in the hair. If after rinsing you still feel product residue, do a second round with your regular shampoo and that should remove any residual product. Hope that helps!😘
