  • Here we make a frame to help us later on when we start fabricating the frame and tube front end.

Thanks for watching! We're going out best and hoping the shows up soon. The first two turned out to be a sideways deal so we're trying to get our hands on another. Heck yeah I hope your build works out for you! Would love to see pics. Thanks again!

@@downrangegarage6531 Thanks, hopefully your situation goes better than it sounds like it has been! My main issue rn is trying to use the Ford ECU vs being forced to wire in something like a megasquirt. The 3V (what I wanted) is more electronically integrated to vehicle than the more-oft-swapped 2V. Oh well, still a better design. 3V vs 2V Ported head flow: 260/220 vs 210/190 (TEA flow benched both, @0.500”). Info hard to find so figured I’d offer. Keep up the good fight! Can’t wait to see your progress in the time to come.

@@Krossf1re yeah we're running into the same ECU dilemma ourselves. But my buddy really wants to set some cash on fire and get one of the Holly Terminator systems. But I feel you as far as performance parts goes they're hard to find. But according to my buddy the internals other than obvious components can be swapped with 5.4 performance parts

@@downrangegarage6531 it is literally a 5.4 with 2 extra cylinders. The ecu for all modulars is the same, the programming is what adds the 2cyl control and changes firing to 72* v10 vs 90* v8. The engines are a really great platform Ford dropped the ball on. Everyone is so up in arms about the new 7.3 and supposed 6.8 V8’s….but the v10 would be more powerful and efficient with modest changes to intake manifold size/design and cam timing. Way too truck focused. The holley shouldn’t work because it cannot add the extra cylinders - i recalled looking into that and the main aftermarket ecu’s are all specific to V8s. Cant even be ran in batch fire ign and injection to get around it. Maybe your bud could just splice his way to victory, idk. I’ve gotten far with the stuff on paper but wiring up an MS3Pro is an added expense and timesink i really wanted to avoid. Seems impossible to dodge now. But tunerstudio is amazing and could really unlock the v10. Know a guy who has one done up for drag racing - pushing over 1000hp/tq at stock RPMs. Spin it higher with cams and it should be 1700 capable. Ford f***ed up.

Got any plans for the 6.8L Triton V10 that's going into the 67 Mustang.
