The triangle shaped blade hose cutters cut a lot cleaner without crushing the line. I replaced the steel line from the tank to the fuel rail in a chevy truck today with nylon. I cut it with my kinpex side cutters because I didn't have my cutters with me. Them even cut better than that.

Just a tip for you; if you twist cutter as you cut, it should not crush pipe. Use little pressure until cut through.
