Imagine spending more than 1000 dollars on a TV that can produce so much brightness and so much color, only to have someone tell you that you are wrong, and that your TV should look all pale without sharpness and without brightness because that is the correct way.
I am hesitant to purchase any Samsung TV due to numerous reports of quality control problems, particularly with issues such as infinite rebooting and red/green bars at the bottom of the display. I am curious if these problems are widespread or if they only affect a small percentage of users.
I've only ever had lg and Samsung tvs, I think lg is the best quality control tho. I had monitors and tvs from both brands. No issues from lg, and one issue woth samsung with dead pixels. Though, It was a lower end model, I'll tell you if my new Samsung oled that comes in next week has any issue tho 😊

While I do understand where reference calibration has its benifits and perks, I also have come to understand, that nobody cares. Lol. I say this because, whenever I have shown anyone like a friend or family member, the quality of my oled TV, I've never shown them it with the professional calibrated modes I have at first showing. I always throw it on vivid mode when showing it off to people who've never had the chance to experience oled. Because it simply pops more and that is what most people care about, is a colorful popping image that makes you drool and go, "ooh, colors, vibrancy." lol. I have shown them the pro calibrated mode after showing it off in vivid first, and everyone has always said they thought vivid looks way better. I'm just saying, the average folk doesn't like a reference image.

The point of a calibrated tv is to get as close to the creators intent. If you don’t care or want that tweak it to your liking nothing wrong with that. I tell ppl all the time calibrated tvs aren’t for everyone
i have 15 years old 34" lg lcd tv that im using it in the kitchen, honestly it blows my mind how it looks better than my lg oled g3😂 im really thinking to pay 250€ for calibration but i truly believe the picture after calibration is still looks like crap! I'm sorry but you're calibration is just not right in comparison. What I see is that you just use bt2020 with an increase of green colors. You can clearly see it in the background of the image at 7:08 And also look at the last image. I think the samsung is more accurate there then the C1. Why? Check the skintone of the guy in the suit. It's greenish just like the light strips on his suit radiates green. Don't want to be a dik but hey that's my opinion. Have a good day.
Done that myself, 55" S90C, I think people need to know that there is no single settings for all inputs, my game input settings is different from USB where I'm watching movies also TV cable channels is also different settings but I done for all of them so my game experience is different level

You're not seeing my calibration. You're seeing a recording of it on a camera with its own color limitations.
