Technically GW says it will still be possible to play the 500 points even if the game is optimized for 1000 points. We will certainly wait to understand how things are, waiting for the release of the tenth edition, but the options at this point could be 3: - Continue to play the 500 points if the game allows it - Play Combat Patrol Games - Play 1000 points (we are working to bring some videos to 1000 points even now) We will see, most likely we will involve the community via a vote in due time to understand what you think. ^^
