- The BMW e46 M3 is one of the most iconic M series to date. The timeless looks and engine note of the straight 6 have made it a legend. Hence why we wanted to wash & drive it on this week's #WASHWEDNESDAY!
Tyler "Censport" Cenarrusa gives us a full owner's review of his Imola Red e46 M3. His modifications were well planned to make a road and track monster. Bilstein suspension, stoptech brakes, BBS wheels, recaro shell seats, exhaus, and a tune for over 300 wheel horsepower (to name a few). However, Tyler was interested to learn proper wash techniques to keep his paint in top-notch condition. We perform a pre-spray with a hose, followed up with an ONR pre-spray, a ONR wash with the Big Red Sponge, and use Opti-Seal as our drying aid with TRC white waffles! With his m3 being ceramic coated with Optimum Gloss coat, the red had some serious POP with the opti-seal. We still can't believe this is a DAILY DRIVER!
Tyler is extremely meticulous in his career and in his hobbies. Designing CUSTOM "Censport" motorsport helmets and gear for Pro riders and racers. His M3 is his pride and joy that he plans on keeping forever. Learning proper washing techniques will prevent swirls and scratches and allow this 13 year old paint to still glisten like new!

I'm still skeptical on the big red sponge..
Eric Vilendrer i have used the BRS. I still use it but i find that the sponge doesnt really clean up the surface 100%. When you go over it with a drying towel you may pick up dark spots
For me it does clean the surface, but the ONR is just suspending that dirt so that's where the dirt on the towel comes from.

Works better than you'd think. I thought I would get crazy scratches from it, but none so far. I do not recommend for heavily soiled cars, unless you powerwash first.
I never got the brs to work properly. It left micro marring on even lightly dirty cars for me. It also feels like you can't contour it to certain small areas or curved panels without using too much pressure, ie a recipe for more marring. I would be very surprised if I actually saw someone clean one of my cars with the brs and not leave micro scratching behind.
ONR is great though, but I use it with mf-towels instead.
After watching a few of the wash videos I’m getting the feeling you guys like ONR : )

Before winter spray under the quarter lips and under the fender lips with WD40. Spray it in the door drain holes in the bottom of the doors till it's literally dripping out. Then wipe it neat and your car will never rot out ever!!!!!!! Do it every two months when your going through the motions of cleaning your car. I had a quad cab short bed super duty F250 and with the factory billet wheels it was the only one with out bed rot. I did it with my BMW and my current Mercedes AMG Sport C 230. I might be getting one of these. But WD40 is key.

So this week you used Opti Seal and last week was Opti Wax....if I use ONR on my 2015 red Honda Accord, what should be the drying aid, the seal or the wax?
From the fender...tyler went to the wash bucket....not the rinse bucket 9:25. X_X
Never rhought of that onr on rinse bucket can you do this while soap method?
