to me just doesn't seem interested in doing the hard yards for his
team mates, and for his own performance. I personally think he

Oh dear, early days but reading these comments it appears what Rashford was attempting to do has back fired spectacularly. The background music certainly didn't help and quite frankly a dead giveaway to what his PR machine was attempting. It's like he's a victim of his own hype and can't cope with it, hence the lack performances but no excuse for the clear lack of effort he has shown. He was better of keeping his mouth shut, getting his head down and prove to the fans and manager on the pitch that he's worth keeping. I also think he could be suffering from some sort of mental issue, depression for eg doesn't discriminate by social status, I think that seriously needs looking at. Rashford I think is probably a very decent lad but could be suffering from the massive over hype that those around him (PR) team have projected on him since the day he broke into the United first team. Personally I feel a move away would be best for all parties. Youth product or not, like Pogba before him he just hasn't been good enough.

If I was a Manchester United fan, Marcus Rashford would be the least of my problems going into this weekends derby when you have old man Casemiro in that midfield jogging around one-paced like he has major knee problems. Rodri will be treating him like a traffic cone like Yaya Toure used to treat André Herrera. United have been absolutely clueless about how to build a midfield over the last decade. Maybe that will change going into the INEOS era.

Martin, people aren't having a go at Marcus just because the team isn't winning, they are upset that he doesn't seem to show a lot of effort! Also, he has this depressed look on his face a lot of the time. Fans don't like that. They interpret that mostly as sulking which turns a lot of people off, especially when they are making so much money. I know you want to strip money away in these conversations, but it is impossible when there is such a disparity in wealth AND that the supporters PAY to SUPPORT the team!
