Mainoo and Casemero can focus on the midfield... If we can plan with these we can have something to take away from this game... If we play Rashford from the center as the striker, then we are gone

When Utd brought in Fergie, he wasn't the Fergie we know now, he had to learn on the job, and be became the best manager in Prem history. United knew they werent bringing in the finished article.
Liverpool were the same with Klopp. Yeah he had success with a "smaller" club but it took him years to put the peices togetther.
Its the right strategy to choose a manager that you could build the club around for 5 years but theres no identity with United right now. He obviously is poor at player recruitment, hes not great a player management, he doesnt engage the fans like other managers can.
Im not sure hes the right guy to build the club around not because of results but because of all the other factors.
Liverpool and City have a style of football, and the whole club is built on it. They have the coaches that can implement it, the youth teams play the same style, the recruitment understands the qualities required. I just cant see that bigger picture thinking with United.
A new manager would be able to assess the team with the rest if the season and have a full pre season. Waiting till the summer to let him go when this season is already close to being viewed as a poor one is daft

Burying your head in the sand (like Mark does) rather than admit the manager is not "the one" is just wasting time and makes the road to eventually finding "the one" so much more longer.
