I was puzzled about how to remove that side.
I have a split inner boot and a clicking noise when turning, so I think I'll just replace the whole drive shaft. I also hate that cv grease and don't want to get my hands dirty. 😂
@richli808 cv grease is a pain in the backside for sure haha.

Well done mate, u may need a new track rod end if the boot was split on it with the mole grips..fkrs fail them on mots now

Alright fella nice video, just done this to mine yesterday and couldn't find a way to take the circlip of on outer cv joint. How'd you do it? I literally had to take it of from the inner cv joint and slide the outer cv boot on from the inner cv side of the shaft and replace the inner cv boot to. The circlip is easy to see compared to the outer 🤦. Cheers
Thanks for commenting. I lined the shaft and joint up so it was in line and hit it from the back of the joint, which was enough for mine to get it off.
@mastersmods ah I see, so it just needs banging of. The circlip is easily seeable feom the inner cv boot that's all. Thanks for the reply fella, all the best 👌
@tilly0191 I mean you might be able to get some needle nose pliers in there to clap it but I wouldn't know as I did it the way I did lol
EyUp Buddy - Great Video but just wondering how you removed the old CV joint from the shaft...?? That part of the vid is missing ???🤔 I'm trying to remove outer CV on mine but there is no access to get to the 'C' Clip....?? Cheers.....
