My TV is whack. It does not support DTS over EARC so I would have to connect my sources into the AVR for best possible sound. But that said, I’d the MHT 300 gaming friendly? ALLM/ VRR/ 4K @120hz?
Very disappointed with the interface, much prefer individual switches and knobs instead of doing push and hold gymnastics to get basic functions. That's a huge turn off.
Finally got my first McIntosh , an MC312 to go with my Marantz SR8015 for our home theatre . Felt great to save for years to be able to get this . Sounds so good and love its feel and meters
$11,200.00 CAD$ - and this very expensive receiver is still using old 1970s dot-matrix display - $11,200.00 CAD$ should be able to afford modern inexpensive OLED display WTF?
Do you want it to last for decades or for what four years. I will say that pushing buttons to navigate the menu is a pain. It’s built like a battle tank. To be fair the tech will outdate quickly but it will sound good for couple decades before repairs are needed. I run McIntosh in my two channel not my HT setup so that just my opinion. I don’t have the kinda money to buy this if the tech changes too quickly. But plenty of other people do apparently.
great video, thank you!

The only thing I'll buy, if I was rich, It'll be one McIntosh appliance.
