It's good to see Turtle Wax making a comeback. I tried these products on my Black Mercedes late last year and the results were very promising. Will see how it holds up this spring when I yank her out of her winter slumber.
That stuff works amazing on glass, I'm getting more length than Rain-X. But, it tends to come back with some streaking. I find a damp microfiber wipe down on the glass will help this. Stuff is amazing btw, I'm going on 6 weeks and it's showing no signs of slowing down despite the car being really dirty!
Outstanding job. The use of MF Applicator Pads was a really good idea. If the old FLEX gives out (and I hope it doesn't), will you be replacing it with the cordless version? That might be better for a mobile guy like yourself.
What's your opinion and experience with the RAIN-X products out there? Do you recommend the use of it, or would you recommend staying away from this product? To me, it seems like a good product, but I can imagine it might also inflict some nasty side effects... for one, I know the rubbers of the wipers don't like it very much (but in fact, you should remain from using your windshield wipers when you have applied RAIN-X. Very keen to know about your recommendations. Thx!
It's so relaxing watching guru do his magic. I like the fact that he doesn't use annoying music in his videos like most other detailers do. Keep up the great work.
Hey, Joe! Soothing and satisfying as always. I like the polish so far, though it's wetter than I expected. However I was happy with results both by hand and machine. 👍
One of my favorite colors of all time on a car. Very close to the old "French Racing Blue" of the early years of Grand Prix racing when the French racing teams painted their cars in a very similar color. When you see a lot of the old Bugatti's, Delahaye's, Delage's, and other marks from the 1920's, 30's, etc, they were (are) painted in a very similar light blue color. Of course the French took the best color for themselves! LOL. Italy had RED, Germany SILVER, British with their RACING GREEN, and I believe USA was WHITE or they all had to have some sort of the designated color scheme per regulations back then as to be easily identified on the track. The Swiss also had this blue color like the French but with YELLOW striping added into their scheme. This color also reminds me of the "Pole Star" Blue that Volvo uses on their Pole Star tricked out cars. BMW also used a similar color on many of their "M" version cars including the early M3's and even up to present. Ford uses a similar color on their Focus RT as well. This color has always been associated with a tricked out version or racing version of a car throughout the years dating back 100 years or more. Ferrari even used a similar color in a few of their cars over the years. GORGEOUS color!
@Car Cleaning Guru great video once again, very relaxing and another car shined up. I do want to compliment you on how you post a link up above for all of your tools and products used, and that you even take the time to include both the links for people in the UK and the US as well 👌, very accommodating
While I havent used their polish, I love their new Ceramic spray. I used Carpro Essense to polish my car, then coated with the TW Ceramic Spray. It definitely added some nice depth and slickness. It's been only a month, but its holding on strong, especially when topped further using Technicians Choice Ceramic Spray as a drying aid.
I think the after shot looked amazing! That blue really stands out. Watching you wipe down the panels is like watching ASMR. You are so gentle, it almost relaxes a person watching it.
Nice video. I have a Race Red '17 Mustang, as I bought it pre-owned the Red color is vibrant. But, what would bother me the most, there were swirls which under the lights at night at fuel stations, would really stand out. I tend to use a Mothers Glaze & either a Mothers Carnauba wax, or Meguiars M26. The glaze was not enough, so after watching the videos from Phoenix...I decided to try the Hybrid Sol. Polish, & I like the results. I mainly used it on the hood/roof/boot, and I am pleased. It could probably use a similar polishing once again...& the rear quarters could use some attention. I don't have the h.s. spray, but I do have the turtle 🐢wax Seal + Shine product, which I have not applied yet. What appealed to me was the h.s. Polish has the platelet technology instead of the diminishing polish tech. 😀 I'm happy with the results of this Polish.
I used to use the hand car wash service at my local supermarket till I found your videos. Now I do it myself following your great videos and I really enjoy it. Also, I get a much better finish and feel better about it. Thanks Guru!
Classic example of how a great job CANNOT be rushed. It is often an issue with my clients as most don't understand the process untill...they arrive and see the results. Ohhhhhh...😆
In the previous video, you mentioned that the polishing pad you were using made swirl marks worse. You also said that you switched to a softer pad. What pad are you using in this video? It does not look like the Chemical guy’s orange pad from the description. I have a new car and noticed some swirls. Would this polish be good enough to get rid of them? Or should I start with a compound? Edit: I just realized that the UK version of the pad is green.
Where can I buy the range of products? Only seem via a quick Google search amazon with the shampoo 19 quid for 500ml. Also.i have had some wheels refurbished would it be best to machine polish them then put the spray ceramic on or just the spray ceramic. I know they have been machine polished prior to me having them back from the company. Cheers for your videos love them lots 👍
