Thanks for your time and effort, nice watch 😷🧴👏🙏
Thank you so much for posting this very informative video, kind sir! I bought a used, mostly original Mk2 just a few hours ago, and can't seem to find a manual online. Your video answered questions I hadn't even thought to ask. Bravo!
I do suspect my "new" Mk2 has been previously serviced by a hobbyist, as there are swirl marks UNDER the flat crystal and the tachymeter is off by exactly 1 second. Nothing the local Seiko specialist can't handle, but I'm really happy with it. Thanks again and keep posting great vids! Cheers 👏
By the way, I'm very inspired to go the domed Hardlex route, thanks for the idea 🙏
Hi mate watched your mk1 review awesome. I own one too purchased it in London birthday Jan 2000... and 22 yrs later its still my favourite...
Regarding your second issue... well quite simple pull crown to adjustment of hour hands..then press left button
First off, great and very informative video...so thanks for that. I myself am a huge fan of the Daytona. Personally I think the Seiko SBTR013 and Seiko SBTR021 are much more "Daytona" with the SBTR013 looking like the Zenith (steel bezel) with the black dial and the SBTR021 looking a lot like the new Daytona with ceramic bezel and again black dial. For those who prefer the white dial there's the Seiko SSB025 which looks quite similar to the Daytona Zenith (steel bezel) with the white dial.
Ive just bought their grandson, the SSC015, love this watch, so now I want to find a vintage Mk2!
Solid video
Hi mate nice video,i have all four models, the white, blue, yellow and the black version i love them keep up with the good work
Nice collection there then!!
Nice video 👍
Nice one
I own this watch and think it looks amazing with th Mens Shark Mesh Heavy Duty Milanese Stainless Steel Strap, it accompanies the outer bezel design and looks amazing, just remember lug width 22mm when ordering.
Yes i agree it would look awesome on a milanese, thank you
Good review and Info.
Now that you mentioned it, they do look like flipped Daytonas
Great video. I own the second edition since new. Which I bought in 2007.
Its definitely one to hold on to
Hi do you have the crystal dimensions?
Had the Mk2. Sold it and wish I hadn't. Great watch!
They are. I wouldn't sell my mk1 and mk2s. Rare finds. They're not too expensive yet so if you see another, snap it up
Funny think about zeroing the hands. I work mate years ago had a Tissot and told us the stop watch hands were busted. I bought the same model a couple years latter and found after a battery change how to zero the hands. If only he knew. RTFM!
Yeah it's very easy and even easier on the Seiko chronograph. Its in the instruction manual 👀
Hello, do you know the bezel insert size for this model? Thanks for the vid!
I bought a used one and so the bezel insert was pretty scratched up and i ended up buying a new insert, as well as as new crystal. I measured the bezel insert at 38x31.5mm, so we'll see if it ends up being the right size when i get it in from Ali.
Great video. Where did you purchase the new hardlex crystal, and how easy is it to fit ?
It was purchased from ebay, I believe it was a 32mm crystal with a 3mm thickness, it maybe a bit thicker due to the dome.
Quite easy to do if you have the tools. The stem is easy to remove, dial comes out. Pop crystal and replace!
