Anglewax H2GO is the ultimate rain repellent, however if applied incorrectly can result in windscreen wiper juddering and smearing.
Here’s a step by step video showing you how to apply the product, and also given you a demonstration of the product in action.

Superb video...you've just given me a lot more work than I anticipated though...but "clearly" it's worth the effort👌🏻
OMG that car is stunning 🥰. Excellent tutorial, I will definitely give it a go
Thanks Julie. I just wish I had filmed the whole car 👌🏼
Me too 😀
Great video and demo, thanks. Only thing that crossed my mind that would have been better would be to put the wipers in service position to get them out of the way.
The only annoying thing about the service mode is that you have to get it back out of the mode, which involves using the wipers which I didn’t want to do to the freshly coated glass 👍🏼
Also, the Italians have probably created a very complicated way to put it in service mode 😂
That tip about spritz of water was definitely the key for me. I used distilled water in spray bottle and it buffed off perfectly. Wasn’t coming off otherwise. Nice video. Thanks! Keep up the good work.
Thanks Chris. It works a treat doesn’t it 👍🏼
I went overboard when I got my last car. I used vinegar and newspaper, steel wool, bar keeper's friend, glass polish, glass cleaner then IPA. I applied as on the instructions the H2GO. I definitely went overboard with it, but it actually lasted almost a year, over 10 months definitely. I was getting the water repellency at 20mph and I think even at 15mph. I didn't put it on the side windows or the rear, I used rainx and the H2GO lasted longer than that. I had previously used Rainx on the windscreen a few times, but the first time I had, once a few months after applying it, there was heavy downfall, and the smearing was horrendous. I was terrified driving that night. I did use it again, but made sure I thoroughly cleaned the windscreen and it was a lot better, especially removing it with the Rainx glass cleaner after application. RainX is nowhere near as good as H2GO.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I also used a clay mitt on the windscreen before applying the H2GO and the steps after and including the glass cleaner 😂😂
Definitely overkill 😂 all you needed was the glass polish and IPA, but saying that, if it worked out for you then 👍🏼
I have Angelwax vision glass cleaner. I bought that after I did all that other stuff, otherwise I probably would have used that also, but just before the IPA. Instead of barkeepers friend you can use the pink stuff to clean the grease😂
@harimadhavan1712 I know glass is very hard, but just be careful with these cleaners are they are very abrasive. They will clean very well, but could easily scratch 👍🏼👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing The only one I was worried about was the steel wool. I forgot another thing I think, but can't remember if I did, was fallout remover on the screen when I was washing the whole car and previous to the other stuff 😁 As well as the rain it was about September, October time and I was getting prepared for snow and frost. It definitely made it easier to get off👍🏾
Great video. Just wondered where you got the polishing puck from? Think ceriglass just comes with a pad?
Thanks!
It’s an auto finesse puck.
I would just use the pad/block it comes with 👍🏼
Hey Harper, love your channel man you do great work. I’m a detailer in the states and I am curious how you market your business. Do you find that certain social platforms are more successful? Thanks
Hey!
Thanks man.
I just use Instagram and word of mouth really.
I’ve never paid for promotions but my name has managed to get out there. 👍🏼
Nice vid thanks for sharing
Thanks for a great and informative video! I have this product and I love it once it’s on but the sprayer is awful and drips everywhere during application. I see you have a pour style lid. Did this come with the product when you bought it or did you add it on separately? This looks like it gives a much thicker coat and avoids over spraying and drips from the sprayer. Many thanks!
Hey!
Yeah I agree. I image it’s quite a strong solvent so destroys spray heads.
I think it came with the small bottle or it might have been the big bottle but just made sure I kept hold of it. Makes such a difference!
Hi
Could I use autoglym glass polish instead of Ceriglass polish? Or is Ceriglass different to autoglym?
Thanks
Hi, yes absolutely 👍🏼 it should do a good enough job to prepare the glass
Thanks
Just
Subscribed too👍
Really nice video! Is it fine to skip the alcohol cleaning of the window? I don’t have this alcohol, what can I otherwise use instead?
Thanks Nick 👍🏼
If you have a glass cleaner that should be fine.
They are usually alcohol based.
If not, then wash the windscreen with washing up liquid as it’s a great degreaser 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing I have some professional glass cleaner that is always streak free so I guess its alcohol based. Will use that one then. I actually wondered if after your application if there is a haze at night when using wipers? I applied it before (maybe not as properly) and it always left a terrible haze and glare at night
the product has a pure alcohol smell, I unscrewed the cap and there was no protective packaging underneath, is this okay? or maybe I bought a fake product?
That’s correct 👍🏼
Another great vid, love the idea of washing ceriglass off as its a pain to buff off nicely, can I ask what the hand puck and rayon pads are please
Thank you very much 👍🏼
It is a pain to buff off-dry, and you don’t know if you have polished enough of the area. When it’s wet you can see if you have missed any areas and it’s a breeze to rinse off.
Sorry, I didn’t reply to half of the comment.
It’s a flexipad rayon and a Auto Finesse handy puck.
Is that a crack in the glass on the passenger side?
No, definitely no crack in the windows
@@HarpersCarDetailing Looking at it again it might be the reflection of a cable overhead? Was gonna say it looked like a pretty noticeable crack 😬
TOP MARKS 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I LEARNED SOMETHING NEW. THANX
I was wondering if it is necessary to use a specific glass polishing pad or if you can also use a normal microfiber pad or normal polishing pad?
Hi Nick, no not necessarily, I have used just a microfibre pad in the past 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing okay perfect thanks! I already applied it and works great. Maybe the glass polishing pad especially together with a polishing machine helps to remove scratches?
How does this product hold up against constant want ie a Fountain or Garden Windows from Sprinklers?
I’m only familiar with it on vehicles.
I imagine over time it would get clogged and need to be cleaned to rejuvenate it
just applied this angerlwax and now have bad Judder on the wiper blades 🤨
You either must not have polished the glass enough, or wiped the glass down with an IPA beforehand
Bice review on how to apply this, I have angel wax vision when would you use this ? Also Where can I pick up one of those little squige things from
You could use Angelwax Vision to prepare the glass instead on IPA wipe down 👍🏼
It’s an OXO one, I think I bought it from John Lewis.
@@HarpersCarDetailing that's good I thought maybe the vision had something in it that wouldn't help h2go bond to it , thanks for the heads up
I’ve used in two personal cars, and in both, it leaves kind of cobweb, only noticeable when inside and wipers on
I’m not sure what you mean here? This is a glass sealant for external use only
@@HarpersCarDetailing yes, I applied equal as you, but when I’m inside, with rain and wipers on, I noticed that the product leave a little cobweb effect...
@@szm09 I’ve never come across this before. The the product 100% removed with no streaks and was the glass polished and panel wiped afterwards?
Also, are your wipers blades clean and removing all the surface water when in use?
Will you get wipper judder if you dont polish?
More than likely, yes. You could maybe get away with clay barring the glass, but i've always found polishing more effective.
@@HarpersCarDetailing ahh i didnt realise i was gonna give it a few good ckeans with vision then apply h2go
@@christopherhawkins5456 you might be ok just using the glass cleaner.
Vision is a very strong clean, so just go over the glass a couple of times. Give the blades a good clean as well 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing will do thank you for the info..
@@christopherhawkins5456 so did you do it? Was it okay, or do they judder now?
He was ill i can hear it :)
Why don't you keep the wipers up? 🤔
I would usually but I don’t know how to set this Ferrari’s wipers to service mode
@@HarpersCarDetailingthat's fair enough. Nice video 👍
