What cleaner? Where did you get the liquid solder mask, can you get different colors Very cool and really nice board...now just need to get silkscreen on that..either way very very cool!
Hello friend, i saw your video its great. i followed your video and tried solder masking of my large pcb (single layer size 180 mm x 280mm ). i had exposed it to sunlight for 5 min, after that results were not like yours. maximum solder pads got fully hard. i tried cleaning but nothing happened.
My solder mask can not be dry Does it need stronger uv lamp ??sometimes companies says their uv solder mask supported for example 3kw uv lamp can i dry it with a 36w uv lamp but more time??.
You will use laser printer and just print the solder pads only on your PCB software settings. This person did not even tell all of you his software and if you are looking for one. try DIPTRACE, very easy to use.
use plastic from polyprophiline (PP) for botom layer (part wich faces with uv coat) if you use HDPE the uv coat will sticking to the plastic not at PCB.
just look at ebay or aliexpress for "uv pcb mask". it's not so expensive - like 5...6 bucks for 100gr. can or like 2 bucks for a 30cc syringe. author achieved good result but anyway result with screen printing a way-way better.
Glass mostly blocks UVB rays and does not block UVA rays, unless the glass is specifically treated for UVB and UVA protection like windshields, regular glass only blocks UVB rays and even then, it's only around 90% being blocked, not 100%. Any sort of UV can be used to cure the mask.
Thank you so much. Fantastic video, easiest explanation I have seen
You're very welcome!
Nice, the best result I've seen so far on youtube.

Hey! Thanks for the video. Where did you get that UV Erasable solder mask from? Can you mention the URL?
How would you remove the soldermask in the vias?
Hello you are using transparent sheet where i can find, did you print in laser printer or inkjet
it is OHP sheet available on stationary shop. it is laser printed

can we use same method for itching the tracks
How long did you wait under the sun?
it depends on sunlight if cloudy may take 10-12 minutes. if sun is bright may take 5 minutes
how do you register your tracks with the film since the are cover with solder mask
How ever tracks are cover with solder mask, that much visibility is there to identify the tracks.
What is the name of this film
Good job bro.. I have seen you made a smd pad for IC. Will you soldier it by hand or hot air gun? Please make a video for smd soldiering. Thanks
I use a soldering iron to solder.
how do you make an existing plastic image?
You will use laser printer and just print the solder pads only on your PCB software settings. This person did not even tell all of you his software and if you are looking for one. try DIPTRACE, very easy to use.
from where do we get this liquid green uv curable solder mask?
available at ebay and amazon
Congratulation! Finally, how much time did you expose it?
it depends on sunny conditions. i have done it with 9W CFL also and i exposed it for 5 minuets in CFL lamp
hai thanks for your video .the uv paint stick to the transparency sheet when i try to remove the transparency sheet .what can i do
remove the transparency sheet only after expose to UV light.
i did it after expose but some places stick to the transparency
@@smurali60 That's weird, did you remove that, if so how did you?
A very nice tutorial...
Which is the printer you used for printing ? And what kind transparency sheets you use ? And I see your printouts are dark , How did you do that ?

Hello Vishnu,
I have used canon laser printer LBP2900B. Transparency is not specific, It is normal available in local market. Thanks

how to Tinning?
How do you make the through hole plating for 2 side pcb
i have done it with a very raw method. i have taken a very thin wire and put it into the hole. then soldered it from both side of the PCB.
Raw and good method.
Can i use currency uv detector
I have never tried, you may try but i think it is not sufficient, you may have to expose it for longer duration.
Always think safety - you should wear protective gloves.
Thanks
great result!!
Thank you! Cheers!
use uv light the best solution
Perfect.
Glass blocks UV. I don't even understand how this worked for you.
