I like that Eric. I think I will try that, great idea. 8” snow on here today, I worked all night, state Hwy Dept. Single digits tonight. Our lake is very high and very colored. You may be able to walk across it is so muddy.
I think it’s personal preference can’t go wrong whit what’s always worked round ball jig heads will always catch fish red silver chartreuse always catch fish
Eric there is a Popeye that I would love to see you tie and if you would tie it I would like to buy a few from you. It’s a very simple one. 1/16oz roundhead jig with blue hackle and black thread. The man that was going to teach me how to tie was going to start me out tying that exact popeye. But before he could get out of the hospital he passed from a heart attack. I was 13 back then and now I’m 45. I am trying to bring myself to start tying but I would be a huge honor if you did that.

I tied up some Grey hackle and red bucktail silver chanile wensday tried them out Thursday worked out real well
