@@stevengerda8536 I was thinking same thing I believe that's why some cops bring out there dogs to be part of the scene to give them pleasure in the catch
How old is this guy?!?! He looks way to old to be catching serious charges like this. Imagine being in your 40's and not having your life together, smoking meth, getting your electricity turned off, going to jail, having to deal with public attorneys, spending weeks or months in jail, probation, not working, not saving. Thats one hard and pathetic life right there.
You sound like that one post saying a grown man shouldn't carry an umbrella; like we turn waterproof at a certain age. Bad decisions and/or hard times aren't exclusively a problem of youth
The title of this video got me. Some guy was driving like an asshole. At the same time I threw a piece of bread from a McChicken out the window because it was hard and my fat ass got upset. So we ended up getting pulled over because the cops thought I threw it at the wreckless driver. He said "I was about to pull him over until I saw that."
I once saw a UK dashcam video where a driver was chased for ages before arriving at a bridge over a river. He pulled to the right and tried to throw a huge bag (maybe 1kg) of powder into the river before continuing. However, he didn’t throw hard enough and it bounced off the wall and ended up at the roadside where it was recovered. They got him not long after. He should have just got out and thrown it over the side, preferably after making a hole in it so they couldn’t fish it out of the river. He had the right idea, and did the hard part by making it to the bridge, only to fall at the final hurdle.
gee. what a nice criminal. glad the cop helped the guy by not charging him with the most important thing, THROWING DRUGS WHERE A KID CAN FIND THEM AND DIE. stoooooopid.

But since you confessed here on the side of the road, I'm going to pretend like it didn't happen and just forego that charge altogether" What the hell officer?? That's now how it's supposed to work at all
Sounds like they found it. He mentioned it's meth and that he's not gonna file an additional charge for tampering. I doubt they wouldn't look for it, and as slow as they were going, it probably wasn't hard to find
Sounds pretty reasonable to me. If he didn't admit to it then they could have charged all 3 of them with it or at the very least whoever was in the passenger seat. They gave up what like 10 days in jail maybe for tampering and got a personal confession that he was in possession of meth. That's a very good trade for the officers
@@kylebusc3624 They never promised him anything in exchange for the confession. The cop chose to ignore that charge after the guy admitted to throwing the drugs. That was nothing more than a cop thinking he's god. He doesn't get to pass judgement and adjudicate charges. There's a reason that the executive and judicial branches are separate.
@@granitebeast there's a concept called discretion, and it basically means a LEO doesn't have to charge someone. Often there are individual policies that dictate if a type of crime can be overlooked. In this case, in return for a confession about tampering, the officer only charged the driver with the possession. Since no one was admitting to being the owner of what was thrown, the officer could have charged them all with possession and tampering. Instead one got charged with possession, and it's gonna hurt because he's already got warrants. Hopefully his friends get the wake-up call. Is it a form of street justice? Yes. Does it work? Sometimes 🤷♂️
But didn't he only admit it after the cop said that he already knew the bag was thrown out? He didn't mention it before then while recounting the events. If the cop didn't say anything, the guy definitely wouldn't have mentioned it, so I don't think it should be excused.
