Happy memories of Saturday night tv and being a child. Always remember watching this at my grandparents house and all my other favourites that I couldn't watch at home

Russ Abbot and company were, and still are, superb. So funny. Saw Madhouse on stage once and then met them all backstage afterwards, getting my album signed. Les called me a cutie (9 years old and was cute then!), Dustin ruffled my hair and Russ said I had a fabulous and catchy laugh and he had heard me whilst on the stage!!
Was 16 year old back then, from northern Ireland UK, loved the shows,,! ♥️🇬🇧

Never saw any TV when I was a kid growing up in the 70s and 80s, it was only reserved for my dad and my sisters. I've got decades of catching up..

Saturday evenings on the telly are never as enjoyable these days. Occasionally you get something fun, but few and far between.
Very very rare out of the channels every night do i find something decent to watch.I miss the good old days.

Ah those were the days. TV was about entertainment, comedy was funny, silly and even (god forbid) made you laugh. The perfect way to wind down in the evening.
