This was such a great show. I love the clip where he does the queen making breakfast, I looked for it after watching this to no avail, if anybody can locate it please stick a link in, thanks in advance
Thank you so much for uploading this video of the late great Kenny Everett. We were really lucky growing up when we did, able to enjoy some of the best comedy series ever.
He had to face the same hypocrisy as Benny Hill, all by a cowardly management that didn't want to understand self-sarcasm but chose to take it as (personally) offenssive instead.
Kenny walking out on ITV to join the BBC was huge news at the time & the sketch is reminiscent of the opening sketch of Morecambe & Wise's first ITV show after leaving the BBC in 1978.
great show slightly spoiled by the dreaded bbc canned laughter....after his first bbc series I think he must have got his own way and eradicated the canned laughter....rest easy, Kenny!
@johnhastings7841 not all....the first series with the beeb wasn't....Kenny fought to get a live audience in and he got his wish after the first series.
@@80sandretrogubbins25 oh lol I always thought Kenny sounded like Nicholas Hammond as Peter parker a d as zark747 of battle of the planets cartoon plus Kenny always played a Spiderman sketch when the live TV series was being broadcast I thought it really was Spiderman trying to use the public convenience lol
Ah, yes! Brisk, bawdy British humor from the time when men were men, and women weren't. And now? O tempora! O mores! O s**it! You see? Public School does give one the Latin. And the willies. A few Johnnies, too.

I'm so thankful I was allowed to grow up with Kenny, Jasper, The Goodies, TisWas , The Comedians and all the other Non-PC humor in the 70's & 80's.
A tour de force
Let us young people have our revolution you won't have to live in the future we do! :P
Only future todays youth will have is one of dictatorial authoritarianism @@silverkitty2503
Tiswas wss pure anarchy, auperb.
And 42 years later, Kenny is still the best there is or ever was. Kenny we miss you!
There's no one like him today! RIP Kenny, you are missed so much. Thanks for all the laughter.
I loved his show as a kid. He was so ridiculously funny! Late 70s and early 80s was a great period for Brit comedy shows.
I remember watching this live, my parents hated it but knew I loved it (I was 14 at the time)
Brings back so many memories!😊. Love you Kenny!!
Unsurpassable Kenny Everett. I remember when Bohemian Rhapsody was too long for DJs to play, Kenny kept playing it over & over again ❤
Oh god he was such a glorious madman. :D We miss you
One of a kind. What a legend.
Awesome, great fun , loved it, i was 22
This was such a great show.

How lucky were we? God bless kenny 😢
What a legend kenny you are missed but certainly not forgotten xxx
Cant believe ive never seen this ! BRILLIANT , classic , days of great t.v.

Totally agree that's why I am watching. It now. Kenny mad as a
Bag of squirrels but I ove what he did on radio and tv.😂❤🎉
A comedic genius in the Spilligan vein, his only fault being his support for the _Milk Snatcher._
RIP Kenny!
Me and my pals in primary school loved the hapless d.i.y man reg and brother lee love.big hands big laughs
Thanks for the laughs mate . When TV was great ….
I like the spinning christmas globes at the beginning.
Brilliant, and a breath of fresh, irreverent air for these times.
We miss you Kenny. 🙁
We need to clone him.
Wow. Haven’t seen this since it was broadcast, great memories 😭
Oh how times have changed, so many jokes that couldn't be told today...😲
r.i.p kenny xxx
He was a genius! And terribly naughty
but all in the possible tasteee
He was one of the best in the 1970s
Rare treat to see The Police here with 'Spirits In The Material World', although it's not the single version. Interesting.
It was recorded especially for TV
Thanks so much! I watched this when I was 12!
The word madcap springs to mind, brilliant! I don't think we will ever see the likes of this on the boring (woke) era of today's tele.
The bit at around 7mins regarding the media and every one having their own channel!!!!!
Ahhh dear old Kenny :)
Still funny. Great post.
Thanks Agnes rofl, Kenny rocks.

Just hilarious 😁👍
His Benn skit was actually truthful!
yes
MADNESS
🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰
16:50 Wish my dental assistant looked like that when i visit my dentist lol
Brilliant
Your sadly missed Kenny Everett, very interesting version of The Police song.
Very good, at this point the show was still up to the standards and format of the former Thames production.
3:17 was that really Terry?
6:49 and here we are.....
4.42 Cleo Rocos looks delicious.
You can tell how much bad blood there is between Kenny and Thames at this point.
Kenny left Thames after big cutbacks to his last series there.
Is that Marie Harper as the dentists nurse at 14.41?
My Wife has a Morris Minor, those starting handles would be a hell of a thing to be hit with........
I don't get any of this
great show slightly spoiled by the dreaded bbc canned laughter....after his first bbc series I think he must have got his own way and eradicated the canned laughter....rest easy, Kenny!
I prefer the Thames off camera laughter, canned laughter is not as funny.
@@KW-ro5ow exactly how I feel!
All of Kenny's BBC shows were broadcast before a live studio audience.
@johnhastings7841 not all....the first series with the beeb wasn't....Kenny fought to get a live audience in and he got his wish after the first series.
@anthonybailey1966 I stand corrected.
Merry Christmas.
Aahh the name was Gizzard Puke...
Can anyone confirm who hes impersonating as the lady with blonde hair and a blue dress
It's not a specific impression. Just a character.

Try telling that joke today I don't wear a bra I am a man lol. You fired
ah... when there was free speech and we were allowed to take the pee out of anyone in authority - ❤Kenny

Kenny and Carrey show
oh he fell coming out. ohhh now that is comedy gold! I mean no one has ever done a pratt fall before.
Genius. GAY PEOPLE ALL HAVE A GIFT
Saved by a Morris Minor
Mr Everett was one of those people I did not like , or understand his humour
Not very some not sure why people would want to watch it as it’s clearly designed to make people laugh at the expense of a couple of pronouns.
not one thing made me laugh
Crap then. Crap now.
...but enough about you, tilly-with-a-small-t... let's get back to KENNY EVERETTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
thats not very nice
You have no taste
Enough of your garbage comments
Yet...here you are?
I have always enjoyed this program.
Loved sid snot
