Dude! Love these videos! Biasedly would love to see you do like a Motionless in White or Starset! Starset would be a unique video/ maybe a unique challenge with all the synths they use. I feel like MIW is self-explanatory 😂
Interesting you added the "korn sound". When i listen to KL, I always think that there is something aout their tone that reminds me of korn. Could be the tuning as well
As others mentioned, the sound ain't there. There is something lacking in the tone. I dunno if it's the head, which does not sound 5150 or the lack of the OD808. Also, it may seem a "detail" but A# sounds different than dropA, which for the eerie sounds of KL it really matters. Then, the riffs. Sorry to say but your riffs sound a bit like "Hardcore kids trying to be Death Metal" riffs (like Venom Prison) and sound a bit generic and moderny. I commend you for trying something in such a short span of time but I would sacrifice that time and put a more close to the original material result. Look at some interviews from Isaac to understand his point on making music and writing riffs, his influences and how A# is important (also, 7-strings is important) in the building of the KL sound to understand how they, KL, get out of the pack.
man I'm sorry but the mix just doesn't sound right... It's not heavy, like, there's too many tracks of guitars and bass so it turns into a shoegaze type stuff. It's basically what that sound tech said, but in a different way.. anyway, the song is cool actually and I think that maybe if you'd like to you could remix and reamp it so that it sounds more chunky and that would be much better (IMO!!!)
@ well I am doing something and either way it’s irrelevant to what I said which was a fact. This is mixed terribly and anybody with real passion wouldn’t have put this video out.
It definitely rips the right way, man! Amazing job!
oh my god the guitars sound so cool
Addicted to using these tones atm haha
This is such an amazing video, thank you so much. (I’ve been trying to get into metal core recording - and this was very helpful)
Thank you! That means a lot. Metalcore is definitely not the easiest genre to produce so I'm glad I could help
havent seen the vid, already liked it
This might be the best video I’ve ever seen
great job bro
You mention Slayer, but I hear a lot of Norma Jean’s Bless The Martyr album in Knocked Loose too with the panic chords
Poser pov. They got it from disembodied not shitty Norma Jean
thats a crunchy metronome lol. cool video

BASSSSS is f**** sick!
Have u done static dress? That’d be crazy
Definitely gonna do them at some point. One of my fav new bands
🔥🔥🔥🔥
God, Your tone in this is so sick man! Im new to using plug-ins and VST's. I gotta figure out what youre doing, cuz youre doing it right!
This may be a dumb question, but what DAW are you using? Only really familiar with Logic and Reaper here.
Cubase!
do sunami
fckk yesss slaps!!
Are you recording different takes for all 4 guitar tracks? or is it the same take for 2 different sounds in each ear?
Just double tracking and running it through both tracks. I have developed a habit of using multiple amps and signal chains for one track
can you do counterparts? please!

Guitar tone could be mixed better in my opinion but other than that, the song written part is nasty in a good way
Do you remember what tuning you used?
Drop A I think. could have been A#
drop a# he said
what are you recording in?
cubase!

Always learning and improving my craft. I may redo this one at some point. Still pretty happy with this mix though personally haha
awful mixing but heavy rifffs

I don’t see you doing anything
