Hey guys! I hope you enjoy the longest video yet! I don’t think I’ve ever put more time and effort into an opening sequence and I hope it gets you really excited about the game. Anyways, again, as always, love you guys!
When you open 5 boxes of a “deck building set” and still have to go online afterwards and buy singles, you know there’s a problem😕 vid made my day as always ruggles :)
Yeah but I can't state that enough, we are the problem. In the end people give in and buy the cards for a ridiculous price. If people would refuse to buy singles which have a ridiculous price because of the short printing. The second hand retailers will stop earning money and drop the prices. But therefore the ycs etc players have to do the first turn. They have to stop buying these cards in the first place, but this will never happen because everyone wants to win.
In every single video of this series I have been absolutely stunned by the quality of the editing and of the photography. I also love the excitement this man has for this game. We need more people like you in the community. Great job, keep it on!
I see the reverse psychology here. You want everyone to become hyped about playing Eldlich, so that when it becomes the most represented deck, you will switch back to Heroes because Dark Law completely counters the entire Eldlich strategy 😂
As someone who is also returning to Yu-Gi-Oh, these videos always help me to keep the hype for the game going while also satisfying my appreciation of good cinematography. Great work!
@@Ruggles117 haha thank you, it's a British phrase! I'm playing zombies (not Eldlich) atm , i think the format suits them well and I'm experimenting with Performapal Celestial Magician in the deck for that extra deck protection. Happy Duelling!
No, thank YOU for being a part of the community! (This is where you yell it back, then I yell it back. Each time things escalate and get louder, we start to cause a scene and while everyone else thinks it's a little odd, they know they want to join in too :))
I think it’s phenomenal how much pride you take when putting these together. It’s always very exciting getting off work and seeing a new video up. I had a day off not long ago and spent my whole day organizing cards and watching your journey from start to present day. I’m a big fan of your work. Thank you for being part of this community
Watching you open those packs and cooking that pizza sure made me hungry for some packs and a desire to open some pizza. I mean the other way around. I actually learned a lot about Eldlich and what the deck can do. Thanks for the awesome content.
I mostly play Yugioh with one of my friends because the next locals is about an hour drive away from my place and he plays Altergeist. I'd almost put that deck on one Level with Mystic Mine... Even maindecking that one Red Reboot we have left, 3 Twin Twisters and 3 Cyclones, it's still such a difficult and annoying matchup. As soon as he realized I played D.D. Crow against his Multifaker, he kept returning it to hand with Silquitous for cost. But with cards like Verte Anaconda Cyber Dragons are luckily able to otk alot more stuff than they used to :D Great video once again. Keep up with this beautiful content!
This series is amazing, my favorite on RUclips right now. Quarantine has been hard for me, as it has for all of us, largely because I largely lived for the connection I got from yugioh. I’ve been drifting away from the game and just feeling more depressed day by day, and seeing this video last week really helped give me hope for a day I can go back to locals. So thanks Ruggles for being so upbeat and still making content during this time
This was a fun one. Hope you're staying safe and doing well! I love Secret Slayers, all the decks look like a ton of fun. Really wanted to build Adamancipator but the price tag scared me. Picked up 8 packs at Target and managed to pull TWO Researchers!!! I'm so happy and picked up the rest online! Honestly best luck I've ever had with packs.
Agreeing on the online play to keep up with the meta and the various decks and... Whole and behold found two decks I really like that I plan on building irl once lockdown ends! Thanks for the video and just gotta say, this video made my day. Enjoy the content and looking forward to the next one!
If I'm being honest, I had little to do with it. My girlfriend, Maija is top tier in the kitchen and while I do like making things, I know when to stay out of the way lol She crushed it.
Definitely loving the music in this one! Really glad you're a staple in the Yugitubing now. Definitely one of my favorite channels ❤ Edit: Hearing you talk about the viability of these decks and how they would do in our competitive scene is showing us how you're growing as a player. Really love how it feels you're getting better each episode
That pack opening montage was one of the best I’ve ever seen. There’s so much I want to praise about it that I don’t think I’d have time to write it; just, well done!
Ruggles, every time i see a notification of one of your videos, it takes me less than a second to just click and enjoy. Thanks so much for everything. I'll be waiting for the Adamancipator video, i really love that deck ☺️
Just binged the entire series , as an old player myself love your journey man. Been considering picking up some cards and tiring my hand at game again as i revitalized my love of this game through the xbox games. I remember working graveyard shift and me and a couple friends picked up the very first starter decks as something to do during our lunch breaks as at 2 am there not alot going on. Played all the way through goat format and eventually stopped after i lost collection of cards after moving states. Still amazes me how much faster game is these days. After quarantine lifts ill need to find a vegas locals with a good community not toxic to new players
You give me faith in yugioh Ruggles. I'm a long time player and I'm the one that gave you advice about the hero deck on previous videos. Also great photography skills, where did you learn to do all the things you do? Edlich is a great deck definitely! And a control deck that has power and a searchable counter trap is always good to have!! Currently I've finished my hero deck and loaded the deck with counter traps. And looking at new decks to play. Currently maybe synchro inspired by a RUclips named o37wolf. Sadly not sure what to play outside of heros. But I'm now looking for a good control deck to play or spam with control cause counter traps are truly too fun to play when interacting with your opponent.
Thanks man, I always appreciate you stopping in! I minored in film in uni and also just learned quite a bit right here on RUclips thanks to guys like Peter Mckinnon. As for Heros with counter traps, that's super fun. My buddy Wes and I put together a Darklaw Turbo deck which also played 6+ solemns and all of those good counter traps which keep dark law on the board. It was a lot better than expected and I'm glad you're also enjoying something similar! Have you tried the trap heavy Cyber Dragon deck yet?
@@Ruggles117nice!!! I am currently working on my bachelor's in uni I got my associates in journalism though and have some camera skills of my own. Im looking through your videos and just ogling at all the time and effort you put in. I have played cyber dragons before before the reprints hit i sold most of the deck. But i have some cards just gotta get the search cards. I've played The control version and the otk/ spam version. I like the control and the spam aspects but the bodies sometimes are never big enough and if you start to lose advantage its hard to come back. But cyber dragons do grind very well and I love the art work lol.
Aye, those quarantine vibes! So hyped to watch this episode. I say it's worth the time you put into these videos. Honestly the best YGO content on Ytube imo. Your song choices in your videos are on point too. Man those rounds were intense, I didn't realize how powerful Eldlich can be
Thanks man! Really appreciate the kind words and good vibes! As for Eldlich, yeah, I expected it to be good but it's ridiculous how many great match-ups it has. Incredibly happy with the deck :)
@@Ruggles117 Anytime, always a pleasure! Yeah, the deck really has a huge combination of outs to most decks. Can't wait to see how you progress in the next video.
Hey Ruggles! You just earned yourself a subscriber with your great content. Your returning to Yu-Gi-Oh! series is so relatable to many people, including myself. Really appreciate the positivity you bring to the community, especially during this pandemic. Just a quick thought on your question about handling the Altergeist matchup which, though I'm not the best at Eldlich, I'm just throwing some insight based on my understanding of how the deck works along with my experience having been an Altergeist player in the past. There are just three big things to be cognizant of: (1) TEMPO SETTERS With multifaker at 1, Altergeist is going to be generally less consistent and thus the tempo will be a little slower in terms of creating a board of monsters. This means, the deck has to be more reliant on Marionetter, Personal Spoofing, and Meluseek as key starters for the deck. That said, of the three, Meluseek and Spoofing are the most important to try and stop given that Altergeist tends to have around half of their deck being traps anyway making Marionetter more likely to be used as an extender rather than a setup card (unless that's their only play in the early game). Ash, D.D. Crow, and Huaquero all stop Meluseek, the latter two of which being especially strong due to the new displacement rules. Spoofing can be hit by Ash and Conquistador, the latter of which being preferred. (2) MULTIFAKER As you mentioned in the video, getting rid of Multifaker via D.D. Crow or Huaquero is what lets you stop them from snowballing into a massive board which, despite Lord and Conquistador, is difficult to out. Just try to be conscious of the timing since they can chain Altergeist Manifestation in response (or negate it with Golden Land Forever!). (3) RESOURCE GAME Once it gets to mid to late game, their way of replenishing resources largely comes from a combination of Silquitous/Manifestation's effects to be able to recover their traps, Personal Spoofing to be able to replenish their monsters and Marionetter which will either keep setting them or be used as a means to apply board pressure through its secondary effect which lets it act as an extender. Given that you can only banish so much with your Eldlich, you need a means of cutting them off which is where Golden Lord, Conquistador, D.D. Crow, and Huaquero are quite critical. TL;DR: With the Altergeist matchup, it's a matter of focusing less on their monster generation early game compared to hitting key cards that enable them to generate and replenish their resources. Take advantage of the fact that Eldlich is very good at commanding the tempo and flow of the game which can overwhelm the opponent!
Thomas, that was incredibly thorough and well organize. Thank you for taking the time to type all of that out, I really feel like I learned a lot :) I'll definitely put a lot of additional focus on the Meluseek and Spoofing. Also, in regards to subscribing, welcome to the journey, man! Happy to have you here!!
Aw man I wish I had picked up an eldlich core before the golden boy himself spiked to 100 bucks a piece! I'm also a huge fan of control decks, as I have been playing a ton of Eldlich online. Great stuff as always man!! 😁
Bummed I go here late, but loved the episode. Eldlich, is a deck I keep running into online. Usually with the Invoked Engine splashed in. I kind of like your pure build I might give this deck a try and see if I like piloting it before I order the cards. Great video Ruggles keep up the fantastic work
Yes more of these amazing videos, I love your amazing attitude of this game I hope to meet you still one day so thank you for making such great videos and bringing the best out of are community
Haha, yeah I really feel like it will make the transition into IRL play just so much easier. Did you also go down the Secret Slayers track or are you more so talking about other singles and soon, Eternity Code? :)
@@Ruggles117 I was just mostly talking about singles because I can't really spend too much money on boxes haha. But I am going to get an Eternity Code with my friends so that will be fun!
Thank you so much Ruggles!!! As always you never disappoint and make astonishing amazing videos! I definitely did and after seeing this video I really want to open sets of Secret Slayers and try Adamancipator!!!
Ooo so for the Altergeist match-up some tips I would suggest are the Huaquero/Conquistador trick if they summon Meluseek where you CL1 Huaquero and CL2 Conquistador to pop and banish the Meluseek before it gets to activate its effect. Another important thing is how you utilize your conquistador, it's best to chain it to things such as Personal Spoofing after they've already shuffled for cost. This is a match-up I love playing from both sides of it, feels super interactive and really skill based! And yeah now getting to the end of the video, looks like you've got it figured out LOL. Man the amount of admiration I've grown for editing over the last few months has really increased my appreciation for the videos that you make. I'm really glad you picked up Eldlich, the deck is fantastic and the control style is just so fun to play in general. Can't wait for the next episode! :D
Appreciate all of the input, dude! I did watch your most recent video and found the interactions really cool, especially with Nibiru. Also didn't realize Spoofing shuffled for cost so that's great info :)
Yeah, that was really interesting to play. I love that we both had time to kind of pivot strategies and try a couple things. Always nice when a game takes more than 5 turns ;)
Though I’ll play online occasionally, I’d much rather play in person so I’ve been teaching my fiancé the 2002 format. I just picked up the original yugi, kaiba and Pegasus starter decks, and made a Joey one from cards I had. We were pretty even until she started using the Joey deck and since that one is more anime themed and not stock, she beat me every time. She’s still not crazy about the game in general but I’m hoping one day we can play current format.
Hey, just wanted to say, your editing is top notch my man. I really enjoy these videos, they're very entertaining while we all wait for the local scene to bounce back.
Thanks, Pat! Always really thankful to hear the editing is noticed and appreciated :) As for the local scene, oh man, that's going to be so much fun. We'll probably have Eternity Code/Rise of the Duelist by then and that'll lead to some really fresh IRL matches!
@@Ruggles117 No worries :) Funny about that, I live in Australia and the local store I visit for cards is already selling Eternity Code, on account of being a Premier Events Store and "satisfying a variety of criteria set out by Konami" (I'm going by what they have on their Facebook page), so I've been lucky enough to get into the set already. As someone who's favourite deck is Red Dragon Archfiend (not meta in the slightest I know), I'm particularly thrilled to get my hands on some new support for my favourite deck.
With your filming/ cinematic skills and your amazing camera, you could do a LOT of stuff that would probably receive more recognition than Yu-Gi-Oh!. However, I really enjoy your content and I'm glad that someone makes content of this high quality for Yu-Gi-Oh!. Thanks :D
Awh, I really appreciate that man! I did think about doing a more 'general' vlog that would have appealed to a much wider audience but honestly, I'm just really passionate about this game and I think finding that consistent joy needs to come first. I feel like we're making something special here and I'm just looking forward to making it as great and grand as possible :)
@@MrKillApple I think my next secondary endeavor will be streaming. Once Halo Infinite comes out I won't be able to stop playing it so we might as well create some content there ;)
It's so cool that they are making counter traps for more decks, not just high risk or high risk/high reward decks like vampires and, in certain ways, infernity
Amazing video Ruggs keep up the good work a quick tip vs the gren maju when he declares attack with gren maju you could've chained skill drain so that will shut down gren's effect therefore he will take the 2500atk from golden boy , anyways stay safe and can't wait for the next video.
Always look forward to these videos. Absolutely LOVE them and the content Ruggles! You must be an esper though cause you called it all correct about the meta and secret slayers lol.
Haha, thanks man! The new archetypes really just seemed too good to not preform well in a still semi-undefined meta. Couldn't be more happy with the results almost a month into their release :)
amazing video i will be getting only 2 boxes hopefully I get 2 golden zombies :D I am so excited to get eldlich that is a great support to zombies I love them so much
My locals has been doing this as well. Feels odd but its not the end of the world. We stil have each other and as a community thats what matters. Plus we can still enjoy the game, I just want ETCO to be legal already! Stay Safe dude
Love the videos man. I’ll always watch every video you upload just wish you had a consistent schedule of maybe once a week at a specific time. You’re doing great keep givin er guy.
Its awesome how optimistic you are, the yugioh comunity here just doesnt work so the game is kinda dead since covid. Keep having fun! Great video as always
Nice pulls man! I wanted to build eldlich since I pulled a golden boi from a pack, but I need extravagence, the other two boi, and magicians souls OOF!
Haha I feel that.Just so you're aware, not all of the builds run extrav or souls. I've been trying the Mayakashi build off camera and it's really fun. You can apply a lot of additional pressure and it has good synergy. Invoked is probably the best build (statistically) but just about all of them are competitive :)
Your pulls were absolutely insane!!!! So glad you got ALMOST everything you needed! 😂 Can’t wait to see what you do with this deck IRL bro! I know we say this all the time, but we are so happy to have you back in the community!!! You’re energy is amazing and unlike @yacine656 you know how to build deck ;p Hahahaha jk! Love y’all and can’t wait to come see you guys in Canada soon!! Stay safe!!! 🙏🏼
I mean, it looked like you two also got pretty lucky with those packs ;) AND UNLIKE YACINE???😂😂😂 I actually recently gave up on attempting to make a tier 3 Gladiator Beast list and he's now tackling the challenge for me because he's roughly 10,000 more efficient at deck building. It was a good joke though ;) I saw your Adamancipator video and happily plan to watch it with breakfast tomorrow. You two do the best profiles, test hands and breakdowns. Super digestible and fun :)
Ruggles oh boy I can’t wait for you to see the skit in the beginning!!! We’re starting to get brave and did a skit in the hopes that we would actually come off as funny with our low budget camera technique 😂🤣 so I’m SUPER excited for you to see it in action!! It was a really really fun profile-dare I say it...rocks? 🤣 Awh shucks! You’re the sweetest! And we can all only hope to be as Tier absolute 0 like Yacine, he is in his own league ;-)
21:07 new age Scout , & I'm sure you're aware of it now but for anybody else who'd like to know & just in case you're not Shark Fortress is a useful pretty much staple for the deck's Rank5 compartment, for Altergeist Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos I found helps a lot banishing resources & being a pain for them to handle. I'll add for anybody who bothered checking down here, less strictly competitive but making every monster a huge beatstick with the Rank 10 Ravenous Tarantula & stealing things you just destroyed with conquistador using Rank 5 Vampire Bram (especially if it's a boss monster like Avramax) are both a lot of fun, xP my sometimes banished 1 ofs.
Oh, neat! I actually wasn't aware of Shark Fortress but I just added it to my T&T wishlist for the next time I order some singles. Occasionally swinging twice with a 3,500 Eldlich is going to feel really nice lol As for the BLS link, I didn't find that I could consistently build a sizable board in games I wasn't already winning but I'll consider it in future matches :) Your advice is always really useful and in a way, out of the box? It's never something I've heard a hundred times which I also really appreciate. Thanks for helping me grow as a player :)
Hey man i recommend getting yugioh side loaders for your cards, you can find them at ebay, they will protect your cards so when you finally want to sell them, they are all still in mint condition even if played (The tight side loaders prevent cards from moving preventing scratches). Sometimes i double or triple sleeve my cards, i put the side loaded tight fit in a looser top loader then finally in a pokemon sleeve for nice sealed fit, deck is huge but protected. Gotta protect our investments brother. Now if you dont triple sleeve them least side load them then place them in regular yugioh sleeve's, i recommend side loaders because it protects the card when played, preventing dirt and buggers from accumulating on the tops of the cards and finger prints. This is my advice to you brother. It will be a pain putting all your cards in side loaders but it will be more of a pain not being able to sell cards at NM/MINT status, so its worth it. Also you may want to pick up some micro fiber cloth, so you can possibly clean any dirty cards, yes its possible, its on youtube. Cheers mate. Ultra Pro Pro-Fit 100ct Side-Loading Yugioh Sized Mini Sleeves (UP84650) 60mm x 87mm www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=3639 The sleeve's at this website at 2mm bigger... personally i like the TIGHT sleeve's but this website is legit.
Vampire sucker has effect when you tribute summon, you can use opponent's zombie monsters for the tribute summon. This can be use during mirror matches.
My buddy from the shop, Andrew is working on it and I occasionally get him to teach me a thing or two. I feel like a lot of people have real faith in the archetypes future so it'll probably happen at some point :)
Ruggles the Golden Lord! Since you are also an artist, you should consider customizing the EDOpro textures so that the backgrounds and card sleeves can be of your own design. It would be just another cool way to show off your artistic skills while perfecting your yugioh craft!
I’ve also been playing with eldlich and I’m currently playing a more aggressive version with invoked and a few extra cards while taking some eldrich cards out having the deck being 43 cards but with plenty of searching so it’s really consistent. I’ve overall enjoy the build I have
Nice! I also played an Invoked variant at my last online locals and it worked really well. The two archetypes really just don't get in the way of each other and individually do some big things. Definitely a good choice on your part!
Always so happy to be so, Jae! I was actually going through my old videos today and every time I saw you comment I was like, 'nice! My man!' Anyways, that's my way of saying I do really appreciate how you always take the time to comment. It doesn't go unnoticed!

Thanks, Jack! If you haven't yet I would recommend looking up the Mayakashi Eldlich deck. It doesn't play extrav or souls and it's really fun. You get some good zombie synergy, ability to apply quick pressure and some free pops :)
@@Ruggles117 well I was not expecting a reply. Humbled😅. I'll look into it, I've been trying a mini Zombie engine as it stands but thank you very much for the different outlook. Keep safe!
That's a nice pull of the golden boys Ruggles. Indeed, even we can't go to locals. We can still play it online and for those budget players, or any players really. You have access to all yugioh cards ever printed. ( That's 22,000 cards last time I check and it's still counting) So go ahead and make your deck you always wanted online. As well once we do go back to normal, we all have our own deck to try out. So look out Ruggles, your deck has huge competition against the other decks. Especially the fossil deck. Oh Ruggles, a quick suggestion. Ask one of your friend to fight your deck but instead of the regular hands traps. Replace them with Dark ruler no more and the card that might be the counter of your deck. Red Blossoms from the Underroot. That being said, I hope all of you have a good week. Until next dual, stay safe!

Awh, really happy to hear it, man! Welcome back to the game!
amazing content as always. im never disappointed by the quality of your filming and the positive attitude
Thank you Ruggles for making these videos they keep me hype to play yugioh during quarantine
That's the goal, man! Happy to keep the excitement for this game alive:)
I'm not even going to lie, that pizza looked restaurant quality
If I'm being honest, I had little to do with it. My girlfriend, Maija is top tier in the kitchen and while I do like making things, I know when to stay out of the way lol She crushed it.
Ruggles She's tier 0 at cooking!? Plz ban
Ruggles can you tell me the Pizza Recipe? Please
Definitely loving the music in this one! Really glad you're a staple in the Yugitubing now. Definitely one of my favorite channels ❤
Edit: Hearing you talk about the viability of these decks and how they would do in our competitive scene is showing us how you're growing as a player. Really love how it feels you're getting better each episode
calling the optimal build from ituition & ocg precedent too
:) That put a big smile on my face, thanks man! While I still feel like I'm far from 'good' I'm definitely learning and getting better week by week!
@@Ruggles117 keep it up, my man! One day you're gonna get that YCS top and we'll be with you every step of your journey!
Wowwww, that was a MOVIE like montage, Great visuals bro, Amazing content !!! Keep it up !!!
I was really proud of how that first montage turned out. Super happy to hear the work is noticed and appreciated, thanks Marlon!!
Man you have the best videos and I love to watch them so thank you for the good times
That music during the pack montage is awesome. Ruggles knows how to montage like a boss
Trying to make these things a real signature of the channel ;)
I just cant get over how great your skills are and how much you love your craft and yugioh.
Thanks, Felix :) Honestly, you guys make it really exciting. Wouldn't be so passionate about it without this fantastic community!
Ruggles its all those little things bro you got a style that is just so captivating to watch i didnt even realize 10 min passed.
Ruggles no homo my guy (boondocks refrence)
The work and love you put in your videos are truly outstanding, omg
Thank you so much, Wiz! Glad you're really enjoying the series
I think I think im gonna get into Elditch😂 that’s what I thought was gonna be the opening ngl😂
:O MISSED OPPORTUNITY!
I really thought we were gonna switch the intro up but it was still a great episode ❤️
Like always . I can see you put alot of effort in these videos. Keep up the great work Sir
😃
your possibly my favorite youtuber if not one of them, keep up the good stuff man love watching and stay healthy :)
Awh, thanks Ryan! You also stay safe and healthy my man!
Ruggles R&R connection baby lets go, u da best
@@ryansouthwick2404 Haha, Ryan is actually also my first name so that R&R is real!
There are just three big things to be cognizant of:
(1) TEMPO SETTERS
With multifaker at 1, Altergeist is going to be generally less consistent and thus the tempo will be a little slower in terms of creating a board of monsters.
(2) MULTIFAKER
As you mentioned in the video, getting rid of Multifaker via D.D. Crow or Huaquero is what lets you stop them from snowballing into a massive board which, despite Lord and Conquistador, is difficult to out. Just try to be conscious of the timing since they can chain Altergeist Manifestation in response (or negate it with Golden Land Forever!).
(3) RESOURCE GAME
Once it gets to mid to late game, their way of replenishing resources largely comes from a combination of Silquitous/Manifestation's effects to be able to recover their traps, Personal Spoofing to be able to replenish their monsters and Marionetter which will either keep setting them or be used as a means to apply board pressure through its secondary effect which lets it act as an extender.
Yay knew vid I’ve not had my chance to try out eldlich yet but it’s definitely on my list of deck to try out!
I would definitely recommend it if you like slower, more interactive game play. I'm pretty in love with the deck :)
Great video Ruggles keep up the fantastic work
The Eldlich vs Altergiest match up genuinely looked a lot of fun. When will we get the Ruggle's vs Dezeef match up?
Yes more of these amazing videos, I love your amazing attitude of this game I hope to meet you still one day so thank you for making such great videos and bringing the best out of are community
I’ve been waiting for a new episode to drop for what feels like forever. Love the content
Your reason for buying cards as well as playing online was my exact reason as well lmao. Keep up the great work man! Love the series
Thank you for the birthday gift today! I knew you were going to post today but to me it’s like a present thank you Ruggles 😌😄🙏🏼
Happy Birthday, Martin! Honored to be a small part of it :) Hope all is well and that you've had some fun today!
Also didn't realize Spoofing shuffled for cost so that's great info :)
that machina eldlich game was amazing honestly
both of you are good players to adapt to each other like that :D
Yeah, that was really interesting to play. I love that we both had time to kind of pivot strategies and try a couple things. Always nice when a game takes more than 5 turns ;)
Really enjoying this series keep up the good work!
I’m happy you still doing these I couldn’t wait
Though I’ll play online occasionally, I’d much rather play in person so I’ve been teaching my fiancé the 2002 format. I just picked up the original yugi, kaiba and Pegasus starter decks, and made a Joey one from cards I had. We were pretty even until she started using the Joey deck and since that one is more anime themed and not stock, she beat me every time. She’s still not crazy about the game in general but I’m hoping one day we can play current format.
u got the plate from youtube! good for you!!! keep on going with the good content m8!
Well I mean, if you ever want to do something else there is always the possibility of a second vlog channel of some sorts. :D
@@MrKillApple I think my next secondary endeavor will be streaming. Once Halo Infinite comes out I won't be able to stop playing it so we might as well create some content there ;)
Ryan’s market watch, buy now whilst at 60... well that escalated quickly.
Haha, yeah, they were actually only $54 at the time of recording. Definitely one of my better investments :)
Ruggles just rub that salt in buddy, I’m looking forward to splashing £220 on a playset 😭
It's so cool that they are making counter traps for more decks, not just high risk or high risk/high reward decks like vampires and, in certain ways, infernity
Yeah, also amazing that it's easily searchable. Really love this deck!
By far the best video editing and quality content out there! Keep it up!
:) Thanks dude, it's always nice to hear when the edits are appreciated
Amazing video Ruggs keep up the good work a quick tip vs the gren maju when he declares attack with gren maju you could've chained skill drain so that will shut down gren's effect therefore he will take the 2500atk from golden boy , anyways stay safe and can't wait for the next video.
Yes! My dude is in the golden boy train too!
...I can't tell is 'train' was an intentional pun but I appreciate it, Saucedo! ;)
Yes! A new video! I am so excited!!!
Hope you had as much fun watching it as I had making it, Shades!
I really love your videos And montages, they are awesome:D!!!!
:D Thanks, Revorion! I feel like they are becoming a real signature of the channel and I'm super proud of them :)
I dont know how i havent seen you yet but i straight up love your energy
Thanks Jason! Happy to have you here now and hey, welcome to the journey!
My dude. Good to have you back. Hope you're doing well, don't be a stranger :)
You sir are the goat.
An non ironic non pack opening channel 🙏🏼
amazing video
i will be getting only 2 boxes hopefully I get 2 golden zombies :D
I am so excited to get eldlich that is a great support to zombies I love them so much
With my local it’s the same: we are 6-10 every saturday but it’s always a great time between friends.
Just got off work and the episode dropped. Fantastic timing lol.
Another video that makes me feel happy also I realised that I love Elemental HEROs but I chose Rokkets because I’m a dragon lover.
Even from the 1st video, I’ve always wondered how can you afford all these expensive cards hahaha love the vids!
And thus, the golden age of this channel begun.
LOL, actually a fantastic pun
very good video, this needs more attention for sure
I appreciate that, man!
30+ minutes of pure *GOODNESS!*
I was actually super proud to hit that 30 minute mark ;)
Dude this guy’s smule is so pure
My locals has been doing this as well. Feels odd but its not the end of the world. We stil have each other and as a community thats what matters. Plus we can still enjoy the game, I just want ETCO to be legal already!
Stay Safe dude
Love the videos man. I’ll always watch every video you upload just wish you had a consistent schedule of maybe once a week at a specific time. You’re doing great keep givin er guy.
Yeah, I've been trying really hard to get back to once a week. We'll make it happen at some point relatively soon :)
Another fantastic video great job glad everyone is doing well
Thanks, Roy! Really looking forward to getting some games in with you again :)
@@Ruggles117 same bro can't wait
Nice seeing your recovered from that slaughter of the banlist.
Haha, yeah, Secret Slayers came at the perfect time
Its awesome how optimistic you are, the yugioh comunity here just doesnt work so the game is kinda dead since covid. Keep having fun! Great video as always
I wonder if ruggles has discovered invoked eldlich yet hes gonna be so excited
I actually played it at my last online locals. Will have more on that in the next video ;)
@@Ruggles117 I started playing it too and theres just so many pluses it's such a fun mid range like deck
I’m happy to say that locals will open in the near future, at least where I live
And we can all only hope to be as Tier absolute 0 like Yacine, he is in his own league ;-)
best editing, better than any other yugitubers
Occasionally swinging twice with a 3,500 Eldlich is going to feel really nice lol As for the BLS link, I didn't find that I could consistently build a sizable board in games I wasn't already winning but I'll consider it in future matches :)
Your advice is always really useful and in a way, out of the box?

The sleeve's at this website at 2mm bigger... personally i like the TIGHT sleeve's but this website is legit.
Another amazing Video! Hope you are doing well :)
Vampire sucker has effect when you tribute summon, you can use opponent's zombie monsters for the tribute summon. This can be use during mirror matches.
Try plunder patrolls they got new support, it's a pretty fun deck, comeback ability, big numbers, and pirates
My buddy from the shop, Andrew is working on it and I occasionally get him to teach me a thing or two. I feel like a lot of people have real faith in the archetypes future so it'll probably happen at some point :)
That pizza looked delicious haha
It was so good... and now, well, I miss it lol
Ruggles the Golden Lord! Since you are also an artist, you should consider customizing the EDOpro textures so that the backgrounds and card sleeves can be of your own design. It would be just another cool way to show off your artistic skills while perfecting your yugioh craft!
That's an amazing idea! I'm working on a painting series for merch in the background. Once it's done I'll have to put it on the program :)
@@Ruggles117 I can't wait to see what you have in store!
Man what a video you and Mario are awesome
Miss that guy so much
I’ve also been playing with eldlich and I’m currently playing a more aggressive version with invoked and a few extra cards while taking some eldrich cards out having the deck being 43 cards but with plenty of searching so it’s really consistent. I’ve overall enjoy the build I have
Nice! I also played an Invoked variant at my last online locals and it worked really well. The two archetypes really just don't get in the way of each other and individually do some big things. Definitely a good choice on your part!
And he's back!!
Always so happy to be so, Jae! I was actually going through my old videos today and every time I saw you comment I was like, 'nice! My man!' Anyways, that's my way of saying I do really appreciate how you always take the time to comment. It doesn't go unnoticed!
@@Ruggles117 I just appreciate your work! Seriously when you post, I literally have to stop what I'm doing and watch! Keep up the work! 10 hours of video/editing for 2 mins that I can appreciate!
You’re so cool Jae.
Loving the eldlich deck. However trying to decide on a deck that doesn't include Extravs or Souls because I'm poor is interesting. Incredible content as ever
Keep safe!
Damn dude, you sure called it 😅
That's a nice pull of the golden boys Ruggles.
