Mr Redman, thank you for your service and sacrifice - I’ve read both of your books and found them truly inspirational. Your’s is a voice that we do hear and listen to.

Thank you for your service and all the advice you gave me when I was working stateside as a skydive instructor

Was on 3 medications for depression anxiety and sleep . Ditched them , ordered my vitamins and foods.
Gotta dig myself out of this , I can taste how good I’m going to feel.
Will I make it out , one way to find out

Never give up brother. Fall and get back up. I have a hard life too. We are not alone in this. You are doing well to change your life. Sometimes it doesn't work but tomorrow you will pick up the road again. and again and again . Strength and honor

Yes you will bro, f them anti depressants it makes you an anxious wreck ive seen it so many times.
Opioids though are a different animal.
As are benzos. Good chance you have had all these. If you're on benzos Do Not Stop immediately you must taper.
If opioids kinda the same but your mind convince you that you NEED them to "face_____" - insert demon there,
If you're on a high dose or anything above vicodin (like oxycontin or hydromorphone and I can't remember the other American one - I'm UK but worked stateside 4-5 year)
You need to taper down bro or you'll relapse.
Being honest I just came out of this battle. Ive defeated all of them except cigarettes. (Easy there 😅)
I buried myself in reclaiming my fitness as it's all that works for me.
Once I start to notice the difference like seeing the vein in my bicep again or the beer belly vanishes.. I'm not wanting to do it as much.
So I guess effectively I've swapped one addiction for another. I'm sure many doctors wouldn't agree but it worked for me and i know rehab wouldn't have nor therapy as I'd have had no job to go back to and I AM that job. It's all I know and took 16 years to learn to truly do.
I'm so lucky I can go back. I'm trying to pay forward my story to help others. If anyone wants to chat im free til January 3. Obviously I've got my family and etc around Christmas but if you just want a no judgement chat. Im here ✌️

You are wrong about the voices in your head. I enjoyed your message and we all struggle with our inner demon.
Would love to have you on my new podcast nothing big but it is about martial arts and human performance.
    Nice job! ☘️❤️☘️
