Kenneth's behavior was disgusting and childish. He cares for her, my butt. I've never ignored a person I care about who is sobbing to play on my phone. He is so immature and lacks empathy and using god to gaslight her was too much for me.

I don’t think people with kids should be on Lib because this show insists on you getting married. Personally I think you need to see how a person acts for at least four seasons before you make a decision for singles, but I would extend it even longer for those with kids. Anyone can pretend for a month or so. Brazil vs US Lib is not the same, Brazil likely have a stronger cultural belief in family in a way that the standard American family doesn’t. There are way to many stories of step parents alienating their spouse from their kids, abusing them, or even SA-ing them. Autumn deserves better than a quickie marriage because all kids do. Even the brief moment when they are living together would not have been enough time to see if a child truly gets along with the person their parent wants to marry in a few weeks. Why introduce someone like that to your kids when marriage is already hard and plenty of people pretend to be something different with the camera is rolling? Also, the cameras and timeline put a pressure on them to pretend like everything is fine when it’s not, and if not that $50,000 lawsuit Netflix can file certainly would. Netflix really doesn’t do good background checks and well…we have all seen how Kenneth flipped in 2.5 seconds 👀. This whole scenario is not healthy and while some people do make it, there is often that underlying question to if these people really get along and love each other or are they putting on a show for all of the commenters and don’t want to admit that it’s not working out. Dating shows should be light and fun. They shouldn’t be rushed down the alter like this.
You know what, Lola? You are so right about Brazil vs. US, and that it's not a fair comparison. As a Brazilian myself, we do have very strong family values. We even live with our parents until we get married. I have friends in their 30s still living with theirs. And when our parents get older, we don't put them in homes. They come live with us. Also, out of respect, the people in LIB Brazil had their future spouses meet their baby's mama or daddy, and that was nice.
Trevor said in an interview that Netflix does background checks and emotional evaluation before casting. Apparently, they are ordering those evaluations on Temu. 🤣
Kenneth totally did a 180. He was such a different person in the real world vs who he was in the pods and the DR. 🤔
P.S.: The "4 seasons" thing is something I always tell my friends. You have to have lived all 4 seasons with someone before getting married.

Lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks four seasons is the minimum time you should have with someone before making life-changing decisions. I need to start watching the Lib from Brazil. I started the Japan version and they are so thoughtful and respectful in this process and I love it. Thinking about how this person will fit in their life and with their family is considered careful whereas I feel like Americans don't think about it enough. (Or at all, lol) Great upload.
@@LolaRabbit I've heard good things about the Japanese version and I definitely want to check it out! The biggest difference with the American one is that 90% of the cast go on the show to become influencers or have their 15min of fame/clout. 😑

It has never been easier to avoid unwanted pregnancies. For Johnny to focus on the only option that would alter her bodies chemistry shows that when it comes down to it, he’s inflexible and that he wants her to take the risk for HIS comfort. They both can wear condoms and even though this is supposedly dating on steroids, they haven’t stood the test of time for me to be comfortable being sexually active with a man without a condom. Pregnancy isn’t the only thing to worry about. Amy shouldn’t have to alter her body or deal with those chemicals because Johnny is to lazy for condoms. I think it’s just pure laziness and wanting to go bareback.

Yep. Their whole convo about contraception just sounded like Johnny doesn't want to "put it on." 🙄 And I do hope Netflix is STD testing everyone. 🙈
Maybe Ken waking her up and turning the lights on was him trying to push her buttons, hoping she'd break up with him first. 🤷🏻♀️ Him not unpacking was a big sign that he already had two feet out the door.
@@denisespieces4744 For this particular show, I wouldn’t trust Netflix as far as I throw them. Though even if they did have health checks, it wouldn’t be the first time someone slept with someone just before the show. A lot of these people are insincere. I do think Kenneth was trying to push her away. The silent treatment, lying about being affectionate and desiring her while giving no affection, telling her to go in the kitchen to make him dinner on the first day they get to the apartment, and generally making her so unhappy that she finally speaks out just so he can deliver a prepared speech as to why this isn’t working and leave immediately. He tried to make it look like it was her, but the cameras didn’t lie about him freezing her out and being glued on the phone.
Also someone brought up the possibility that Johnny really want to hear that if Amy gets pregnant before those five months are up, that she’s willing to ‘take care of it’. He’s laying all of the responsibility of child prevention firmly on her and I don’t like it. I think everyone should go home.

I never thought Jeramy and Laura were going to make it but I really did think in the beginning that Britney and Kenneth were one of the "100% getting married" couples. Like I thought they were going to be boring like Amy and Johnny are. I still want to believe that Amy and Johnny are going to make it and get married.
Kenneth completed did a 180 from who he was in the pods and the DR to who he is in the real world. Very sus...🤔 I thought they were going all the way. So now I'm putting all my chips on Johnny and Amy. 🙏🏻
