In the first few minutes, YES! Racing helps you improve FAST! I can't say enough how beneficial it is to be in a class of riders all riding similarly spec'ed machines. It becomes so easy to find someone who is similar to your pace but maybe a little faster in certain parts of the track. You get way more useful study time versus track days which can be a really mixed bag unless you get lucky. I ride and race an SV650 and racing LWT was an absolute blast and I learned so much. My times dropped so fast! Go for it dude!

I enjoyed it for sure, this was shot at the beginning of 2023. I entered 6 races that year. I made 4 videos about the races I entered if you care to check them out!

I like the Uhaul trailer, I've been shopping bikes and enclosed trailers and it adds up quick! Good vid for us wannabes looking to get started!

It sure does! Especially if you have to pay to store your trailer after buying one

Great video!!! Very helpful. I'm definitely considering racing in the future but your last question really summed it up: gotta be willing to accept all outcomes. The unpleasant side of this sport that only a fool ignores....

I dipped my toes in the waters of racing last year, and posted race videos if you want to see how it went. I took this year off from racing to work on skills and save some money😅

Damn, in the Netherlands we have to pay twice as much for a trackday... in Euro's.

It really depends on the track. Tally is pretty inexpensive. Most I paid was around $300 for a better track

Do you ever get out on the dirt? It seems like a good way to round out your skills, and an excuse to buy more stuff 😂

I do not, but a lot of racers I've spoken with share the same sentiment. I don't for that last reason you mentioned lol.
