This was my first time painting my motorcycle fairings, and it ended up failing after 1 TD. But we're going to get them looking right shortly. I used the Honda S2000 Spa Yellow and it comes out looking pretty good! This was my first time painting, but it still looks good IMO. Come back to for part 2 and the final reveal. You aren’t trash my man. Sad to see.
Never seen your channel man but you seem really genuine and I wish you luck
I get it man. On the other hand, I always think about the fact that the author of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance was rejected by 120 publishers until the manuscript was accepted by the 121st... then it was a worldwide bestseller. looking forward to the comedy
I knew ts was coming 😢 not to wish failure on you but I felt it coming from you. how can we keep up with you?
What I will miss is the personality, even if you think it was fake, or not yourself, you were wickedly approachable. It was very nice to stumble on your channel, and enjoy this oasis, even if it's time to move on and see where the next one is. I do think you have to want it. If you don't you won't get it. Would you want someone who doesn't want it to get it? We hate when people get fame for BS reasons they didn't achieve. I understand, and I'm not upset. I appreciate you explained your way out, and have a plan. You're not giving up; you're moving on. I'll miss you bro, and I imagine in time you'll miss track times, but I hope the best. Ride safe, and be funny. I want to see success.
Sad to see you go. Some of the real content around track riding and all the cbr content was super helpful.
I started riding during covid and you were one of the first people I subscribed to, I enjoyed Lucinda lol. Shout out to you, good luck🫡
I liked the motovlogs. Just a guy giving his opinions on a topic. The motorcycle, Sport Bike in my case was the hook, but I kept coming back for the Star. I hope you can still pop in every now and then.
Wish you the best brother, will miss the uploads. From the owner of CBR 600rr community on fb 🫡
Thanks for the content man! I have a CBR so your videos definitely helped with maintenance and stuff. All the best with you next move👍!
I mean I dont think I could ever give up the track. That said racing has a way of starting to feel like a job rather than fun since when you hit a plateau that you see other people not hitting it can be very discouraging. That said, I get the idea of buying and riding bikes you find enjoyable. I would say owning bikes and riding them for strictly enjoyability rather than competition is important.
Aiight cuh, too many points to get to the point. You don’t like doing it no more, coo, we liked your content but you don’t wanna make it no more… coo. Aiight then. ✌🏾
lol, I gave people like you everything you needed to know in less than the first 60 seconds.
@@Master_Yoshilet me respond to you from my real channel then… I watched the whole thing. Cause for me, seeing other brothas in the mix makes me proud. I watch both you and smith shot… if you can’t tell by my channel info… I have the exact same grind as you, same results too. But here’s the point. I just go away when I felt like the goal wasn’t achieved and then I came back simply just to do this shit for my kids and they’re friends entertainment. My little brother is Mike myke, nigga makes hundreds of thousand from social media. He always tells me to be my real self, but I never do on RUclips, so I understand your exact issues with RUclips persona… but guess what. I just keep doing this shit just to leave my digital footprint, not to get any money. Not to build a following. Simply just because it entertains me. My journey is now on training my son, he has a catalogue thru these videos of his beginning steps. When he looks back, he will see his history. If you were just doing it for money. Then coo… we will holla. But as I said, I’ve enjoyed watching your content to reference it with some things I was experiencing on 2 wheels. But if you’re leaving the space. Aiight den cuh. Stay safe.✌🏾
Sad to see you leaving the sport bike/track scene as you were definitely a huge inspiration to me getting into track and maybe racing one day. Glad you're moving on to things that make you happier. Life is too short to not to do what you love!
You got me bumped me to advanced, I'll always remember and appreciate that. I hope you find the success you are looking for. I also hope you are able to enjoy the ride to get there. Also I'm right there with you on the cost/smile ratio at the track. I'm taking next year off, and I'm not sure I'll return. -Cody L.
I feel the same way right now. I hit my goal of getting a certain time at my local track, made it to advanced group, but for me I do it every month. I take it too seriously and with that I feel like its a job. Other riders don't help either because I always feel like I have to be faster than the next guy. A part of me wishes I never met anyone or made friends at the track because it always feels like a competition. Especially if you met some guys in the novice and some moved on without you even though you guys started at the same time. I have not stopped and I probably wont , but for anyone feeling the same way you need to focus on enjoying yourself. At the end of the day no one in this comment section nor I will ever reach the professional level. My instructor had told me when he moved me to advanced "ride your own ride and fuck everyone else"
On to better things bro you know your directions, goodluck.
To answer the question of when to quit. When you are done. When you have put into it what you are willing to put in. No shame. Thanks for the content, it's been great and I have personally benifited from your content with my own 2020 CBR 600 RR. You're always gonna be awesome, youtube or not.
It's all good, do what you feel is right. As far as the RUclips thing goes, you ain't going to make it unless you put on a persona and sell yourself out. Those who watch people who are real and true to themselves, are few and far inbetween..... you really have to push a certain image. And you have to know what field you're going into, there's just not that much interest as far as serious track riding goes. Now, there are a few moto vloggers and such that has a sizeable following but most of them are just clowns and riding like an idiot out on public roads. You have to appeal to the young people, that's where the draw is and always have been..... from music to movies to everything. Most successful people are sellouts, just how it is in the industry.
Yes, there is a time to give up, but only the mature will realize it. As real life kicks in you are growing into a full blown man and the childish thing are falling to the way side. I personally have enjoyed visiting your channel and have learned many things from you about bikes. I wish you well and do come back occasionally to let us know how you're doing? Cheers my friend.
Thanks man, I appreciate that! I definitely will pop in from time to time.
You gone stay in touch or you completely outta here
Definitely going to stay in touch
I do feel like track oriented channels are too niche to ever get big. So I feel you if you aren't having fun anymore, time to move on...I've enjoyed your videos, hopefully you keep making them
That's tricky part too. It's difficult to stand out and be different in a field that everybody is in, and it's difficult to get everyone onboard with field that's different. Thanks man, I appreciate the support!
Hmmm, It's not April 1, so this must be true 😞 Always loved your videos and your energy. Gonna miss you man. I hope that you take a break and have a change of heart. I know my channel is a grind for sure, so I understand where you are at as well. Good luck!!
April 14, 2019 was when I first started, 220+ videos later, I think it's safe to say I gave it a good try, but wasn't good enough. 😅 I hope your journey is more fruitful than mine!
I tried wrapping for the first time last night and while it started out ok, it didn't end very well. Thank-you for the video / walk through, It was helpful and encouraging. I'm going to have another go at it on the weekend.
Glad to have helped! I have other wrap videos that may be helpful as well
Sorry to hear man but I totally get it, it's almost another full time job to do all of the video production, try and focus on your racing and also think about getting content, etc. Hope you throw a video up once in a while to keep everyone updated.
Thanks man! And I'll definitely continue to pop in from time to time!
1 hunned on sports riding thing. RUclips thing is a madness cuz, it take a certain personality to embrace that grind, I ain't got it. Do think if you just keep rolling that snowball it gets bigger, but you also gotta know when to cut a loss and move on. Time is super short, what you can spend it on is limited af.
I was expecting a snowball too, but the ball has been the same size for 4 years, and that's the frustration😅 If things continue as they are, in 5 more years I'll be at 10k subs, making around $400 annually. Shidddddddddd. I aint doing that😅
@@Master_Yoshi fully feel it g. Did rap thing for good 12 years, got a real tour, few hundred k views good decade ago but still struggling to pay rent, taxes wrecking man. Misses used to say _you be rich if you didn't music shit_ and if it worked out she'd have been wrong, but looking back I shoulda cut that and pivoted way sooner. Hindsight 20/20 don't beat self up or feel any way. You free to live a new life now or realise this is really what you want and get back to it.
Definitely going to miss leaving you smart ass comments brother. I can see the stand up thing has potential for you. Riding the Charlie Ferguson is like riding a fat chick. It'll get you where you wanna go, but you don't want your boys seeing you do it. 🤣
😂😂😂 Thanks man!
Damn man, I just subbed! Wishing you luck in the future and thanks for all the work you put in.
Well since your new, there 's 200+ videos you can catch up on in the mean time😅 Those early ones were trash though. Thanks for the support!
I thought you were quitting riding cuz your new grill cost you your 2025 race budget....🤣
😅😅 Nah, its a multitude of reasons really, but the smiles/dollar is a big one!
@@Master_Yoshi I get that! Something tells me you and I will still be on camera 📷 🙂
Wow, sad news for me I've been a regular viewer from the UK from the start, all the best for the future.
Thank you for the support!
Hey, it's Mr. Shakey back in El Paso. Proud of what you've accomplished with your channel and will be sad to see you go, but watching and hearing your farewell message just now on my 65" tv, It would be awesome to see you as an actor in movie's or tv shows or even as a news/sportscaster or on a Broadway stage play. Blessings and best of luck on your next adventure. 😊
Thanks Mr. Shakey. We'll see how this comedy thing goes!
Sad to see you go man
Maybe give Tiktok a shot aswell. For alot of RUclipsrs and streamers TikTok has been a great boost for their channels.
I could've gave tiktok more effort, but I tried that too 😅
100% understand. Sorry to see you go, but you need to do best for you! Press on!
Thanks Aaron!
Sad to hear this😢 Animo compadre . Price for 🛵???😃
Thanks man! Which one? Selling 3 lol. One track 600rr, one Street 600rr and a grom
Usually theres some type of video that blows up and then you finally get the traction you need. As you keep uploading, the net you cast onto the motorcycle space on youtube just gets bigger and bigger and you should theoretically get more views because you just have a bigger net. Also, look at your content and other motorcycle content and think "Why would someone prefer or choose my videos over theirs? Am I doing anything unique?" Not saying you are or arent, but those are things that I think a lot of people dont ever really consider and then they wonder why they arent growing. Personally I think you should keep going but ofc its up to you. At least your overhead with youtube isnt that big of an investment, and you might as well use the equipment you already invested in
Yessir, I tried to repeat the formula of those that did blow up, tried to repeat the formulas of those more successful, tried to be unique, but overall failed at my attempts to do so. Time would be largest and most costly thing to keep investing into this.
Sorry to hear it, my brother. Enjoyed sharing the racetrack with you.
Likewise! It was a great journey, leaving with no regrets, and lots of great relationships.
Sad to hear this bro, I really appreciated what you brought towards the community
I appreciate that!
"Gitcho ass in da car!" LMAO!!!
expeditiously lol
Friendly reminder, if you are not comfortable with doing the wrap bare hands, wear gloves, but always wash your hands before starting the project
Getting smoked by pro riders riding s1k and probably a Ducati v4 or v4s on a 600 shouldn’t make you feel bad.. Now if you had the S1k and they had 600’s then my ego would be a little bruised….
Yessir! They're on V4 Rs. Shidd I just ride for fun, I wouldn't care even if it was the other way around😅
Been nocking for an hour with no use,bro thank you it came out like in 6 hits both sides
Fuckin' 0:09 seconds in and you're already putting me on blast, haha. 😂 I feel like the rear brake is extremely underutilized in realistic applications. I don't know how many miles brakes are supposed to last on a bike, but I've gone 16k miles on the same brakes, so I feel justified in saying using the rear brake in conjunction with the front brake and engine braking greatly prolongs the life of your brakes. Also, does mismatching your revs when you're downshifting have a negative effect on the engine and/or transmission?
I never use the rear unless I'm off pavement😅. mismatching the revs could be the same as just dropping the clutch after downshifting. Anything that doesnt allow for smooth transitions, i assume can potentially cause more wear to moving pieces. I know that doesn't really answer your question, but thats the best I got😅
@@Master_Yoshi That was my same line of thinking, thanks for your response. And maybe my rear braking is overdone, who knows. I find it really helpful for slow maneuvers. I've never tracked a bike, but I imagine the rear brake could pose a bigger hazard at race speed, but I guess that's also what ABS is for, right?
Very smooth! You can barely tell. Can I ask what you're riding? And does it have a slipper clutch?
Thanks! cbr600rr, no slipper
I tried posting a short once but youtube completely annihilated the video quality, how does your video look so good??? Did you upload in higher resolution than you filmed in?
upload it on pc, not straight off your phone
@@Master_Yoshi thank you, will try!
Beautiful job 💜
Stay blessed don’t stay too stressed. I like that!
We had a guy In our class who had never bin on a bike before at all a kid and he got he endorsement first try.
👌🏻👌🏻😊
This video helped me a lot! i’m working on getting a bike and i’ve been on edge about what i should get. I have a dirt bike, and i don’t really push limits on anything, nor in my car. i Think i can pull off a 600
I agree!
Zero trail braking.
yeah my bad. I was new to track riding when I made this
@@Master_Yoshi you’re improving! Ride safe!
O-O-O Orealeys 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
