Daniel Kolenda I think it's great that a series was done on this. I wasn't able to find anything that directly that spoke on this subject.My only thing is praying after I arrive home after working 8 hours. I'm trying to increase my prayer time and have even used a small teaspoon of distilled vinegar to keep me awake. Or I will turn on some contemporary gospel on a low level.

I always say it's a heart issue being intimate with God in prayer is one of the most special things a Christian can do I listen to Jason Upton sometimes when I pray Lindo Cooley these men of God speak so much truth my prayer is that we listen hear what they say and apply it in our practical life God bless

i have a very difficult time staying awake if i'm kneeling praying with my eyes closed but if i'm standing and walking and moving around I can pray as long as i want to without getting sleepy.......but if you get drunk in the Holy Spirit you might fall down but i don't think it will hurt, lol, i went down like a lightning bolt one time and it didn't hurt me and no one was there to catch me, lol, it was great (not while i was in prayer, when i went forward at a church service once for prayer and i was the only one standing there while everyone else was just sitting in their chairs watching, i went straight down and laid on the floor laughing for a little while and then when i got up to go back to my seat i could barely walk i was so drunk in the Holy Spirit, like i said, it was great)........we can still honor God as we stand as long as our hearts are yielded to Him

I fail asleep at work.-- knocked out on camera in front of my enemy. She called and reported it right away. God worked a miracle. He preserved my job.
Trying to get you fired is horrible, even for an enemy, knowing you need a job to feed your family, and to pay bills.
It's been 4 years. Hopefully you're employed somewhere else or you've reconciled with that person by now after all this time. Lol
First you focus your mind till it feel oneness and sync with God .avoid distraction
Answer to that is good food. Eating vegan an no sugar will give you so much power, that ypu will know why to fast while praying and this is recogmented by Jesus. We will be very concentrated and stay in the SPIRIT.

i think it's bad to have a worldly crutch (coffee) as a follower of the King of heaven
I guess. . . but that would be legalistic to say that the prayer isn't genuine just because you use something like coffee to keep you awake. It simply a method you're using that could be anything that you know will keep your time with HIM sacred. If that means standing up, coffee, or thinking about HIM during your car ride to and from each place you go where you know for sure you won't sleep. . . it seems fine.
GOD created coffee and it's not a bad thing. If you're trying to stay awake and that's what is more important to you, use that to stay awake or whatever respectful amd honorable way you need.
The only way it would be a crutch is if you were to be like "I can't pray at ALL without coffee, standing up, or [doing THIS or THAT]"
GOD uses "worldly" things for HIS Glory.
Our phones are worldly. So are clothes and the fashion we choice to wear them. Yet we're to dress modestly, therefore using worldly attire to yet still Honor HIM although clothes in and off themselves don't matter outside of covering our privates and to keep warm.
Phones could be used for good and evil.
So... Whatever your conscience is telling you is wrong or right according to the Bible.

i never wanted to state that coffee would affect your heart’s position toward God so much that He could not hear you. But we truly don’t know the effects of these drugs on our state of body and soul in Christ, it’s best to not partake in the things of this world :)
