Nice video! Which funnel do you use? I see that it fits well in the filter holder!

Same question, it looks like it is at 10 bar. Have you adjusted your opv? Are you happy with the Go?

So WholeLatteLove did a review and in their review they found that 10 bars was really 9 bars with whatever pressure sensor they used. So they recommend profitec go users set to 10 bars if they want 9. Love my go!

I have a GO and I ordered a norm core portafilter. It’s an e61 comparable bottomless and I seem to get leaking out of where it meets the gasket. Have you had to over tighten your portafilter at all? It feels like really have to make it super tight in order to not get leaks. In the beginning I didn’t have to do that but it’s only a few days old. Otherwise great machine.

Hey Brandon, I was wondering why pressure gage stuck at 10bar after shot was stopped? Shouldn't be release back pressure anyway?

    • @RegrinderAlert
      @RegrinderAlert Год назад +1

Pressure is released, it's just due to the way the hydraulic circuit is designed in this particular machine.

Hi. I'm considering upgrading to a Go but I know I'll also want a bottomless portafilter. There don't seem to be too many options that claim to be compatible. Are you using the Profitec one, or something else?

Hi Brandon, thanks for the video, love the setup! I will get the blue one as well, not many people have this colour but I think it’s nicer than the black. Getting a white grinder as well, the Mignon Zero as it’s half the price of the niche (I’d prefer the niche tho).

That’s funny, cause I had the black one too, sold that and now I will order the blue. The blue has a bit of a relaxed vibe to it, especially with a white grinder (and it goes way better with my kitchen and room furniture lol)

I just got this exact setup - Niche Zero with Profitec Go. I know nothing about espresso. My shots are always watery, not enough comes out, the puck is always wet. Please help, what am I doing wrong? I grind 10 grams at 15 setting on the Niche, into the stock single basket portafilter, then I pull the shot for 25 seconds. What do you do? Do I need all those other accessories to tamp it better? Thanks man..

    • @brandonleewilks
      @brandonleewilks  Год назад

Hey! Attempt a much larger dosage, in the stock basket i'd try 18-19g in and 45g out. All niche's are different so while i'm at 13 or so setting you could be at 18 and it could be the same as mine, Grind coarser for a shorter pull and finer for a longer pull aim for around 30s is my goal.

i got a ton of issues with this video, 1. bro doesn't wdt correctly 2. doesn't take time or cut to allow camera to autofocus even though the camera clearly struggles to properly autofocus on every shot 3. if he wdt correctly he wouldn't have to use a leveling tool 4. it doesn't look like he knows how to pour latte art; his movements are incredibly rigid and his milk is over-steamed

Profitec Go makes a hell of a noise
PID is located at a very inconvenient low
    place
You always have to bend over to view and work with the PID.
Do take care not to burn your fingers
    Rather irritating
The lid of the watertank is sitting losely on top and rattles when the vibration pump is working.
It doesn't slide in neatly too
    Why not a hinge?
Even the Bezzera Home has a hinge.
The driptray itself is rather small
and doesn't slip in neatly as well.
    Driptray becomes very hot and
there is a great chance that the solder joints become loose.
Even solder hot spots are visible.
The sidepanels and back panel are connected to each
    other in a clumsey way
You have to purge the steamwand twice before making a cappuccino.
Making Americano's is tricky because of the short distance
The Profitec Go has no smooth workaround
    and is sloppily put together.
All in all definately not barista friendly
The ECM Classica II Pid is a far better choice.
Finishing quality is far more refined:
    detailed finished stealwork.
No cut corners: wrapped panel edges angled
It. certainly does have the finesse.

Are you paid by the product you’re promoting, seeing as you seem to be copy and pasting your essay on every video associated with this product?
You also seem to always forget to mention the price point difference of well over £400 between the two…

EMC and Profitec are virtually the same company.
So your comment doesn't make sense.
Indeed, paying somewhat more you get a superbly built machine like the ECM Classica.
