He's got to be trolling as usual. Saying rap isn't music is like saying percussive instruments aren't music. Yes there are some trash SoundCloud rappers out there, but there are trash bands as well. Also not all rap has the themes he mentioned. NF is the example that comes to mind. He's very talented and his lyrics are about love and surviving loss and dealing with mental health issues. He doesn't even curse.
He is a above average violin player and could have made a great living playing music and still had his health and his dignity.. People don't realize how good a player he really is..Such a shame to waste such a talent..

He’s right about rap these days. Its garbage talk about sex, violence, and drugs. But you sometimes come across actual poetic rappers.
