He was part of the problem. His job was to report the news not make it up, can't be trusted in my book. He will say whatever needs to be said for the group. He reportedly claimed that while reporting in Iraq in 2003 the Chinook helicopter was fired at and needed to undergo an emergency landing, according to Vanity Fair - however, soldiers onboard disputed Williams' claims.

Brian Williams deserves to be remembered with his peers, predecessors and colleagues: Ted Koppel, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings - and yes, even Cronkite, Huntley & Brinkley.

@Josh Fog Whether you see it happening or not depends on your life spirit, (basically, are you a leader or a follower), and your personal live experience in the USA. I have seen it happening since the outsourcing of our production to communism over starting over 40 years ago, (1978 to be exact). Then I see the driver of the limo shoot JFK in the head after 2 confused secrete service men were removed from the back of the car a few corners earlier. Then I find out we actually armed communism in china to win their civil war against the nationalists, (I have no idea what the clash of ideology was there, or just a power struggle) to win in china. I also learn that our education has become very dysfunctional, (so you can't make money in the free market, and go work for the state), with math, science and reading below 30th in the world, and I always wondered, as I worked in over 20 machine shops and earning 3 college degrees in manufacturing, (2 of them engineering degrees), why I was still just over poverty until I started my own business.

I started educating myself on American politics at the end of 2015 . Well I definitely picked the right time .
I live in the UK and the best way to get any information was to watch as many news shows as I could . Brian was the first presenter that I came across and on reflection I am so glad I did after then seeing another news channel who were blatantly openly biased towards one candidate.
My goal was to be neutral but I have to admit I did curry favour with Brian who’s brave style of just coming right out with that question was so refreshing instead of those who never challenged those answers and just moved on .
